《Inner Demons》Woah, Naruto, Those Corpses Are Kinda Sus

I am bored. My movements feel languid, my facial expression remains listless and my brain feels numb. I watch as the other ninjas bumbling about, footsteps clumsy and inexperienced. I wait for something exciting to happen. I look for a head of golden hair and oceanic eyes. Then, as if catching onto my thoughts, the door slams open with a bang.
A corpse is chucked through the spacing, falling to the floor with a thump. A defiant blonde stands over their lifeless bodies with a satisfied grin while a duckbutt seemingly facepalms.
"Neh, neh, Sasuke, why is everyone so shocked right now?" Naruto inquired, bouncing on his heels with an innocent smile.
"Hn." Sasuke replied, eyes burning into the tiled floor.
"Wait-What do you mean it looks like we killed someone?! Sakura's not dead is she?!" A small 'hn' was heard in response, "Well I'm sure this is all just a grave misunderstanding..." Naruto turned to me and the gathering crowd of spectators. "She's not dead, see?"
With that, Naruto lifted the corpse, revealing a horrid face marred with bruises, scratches and dirt.
"See, she's completely fine!"
I'm starting to wonder what this boy's definition of 'fine' is.
Before the situation could continue to get out of hand, a Konoha jounin walks in, face tanned and dashed with scars. "Alright, it's time to start the first section of the Chunin Exams!" He shouted, quieting and gathering the attention of the ninjas there. '
Well then, let the trials begin.'
Author's Note: So... uhhh, this one's not angsty, despite the fact that I will write some Gaara angst later on. I wasn't feeling up to it right about now, I felt like writing something more light-hearted for this scene. Sorry for the short chapters... Also, did you know that animals (though not humans) can control their number of offspring? For example, if there's risk of overpopulation or there isn't enough food, they can make it so that they have less children that year. How cool is that?!
