I stare into his eyes that mirror the same hope seen in mine. He cups my cheek and pulls me into a kiss. I'll never get sick of those soft lips on my own, or the way his eyes gaze into mine with such an adoring glint.
We don't know what will happen next, but none of it matters. So long as he stays by my side, I know that we will be alright.
