"Welcome!" Daniel chirped, turning to see who had entered the store, choking on his spit when he saw who came in.

"Aren't you cold?" Yui asked, crossing her arms over her chest and side eyeing the male she walked in with.

"Men don't feel cold." The guy replied cooly.

'Y...Yui?!'

"... But you've got goosebumps." Yui pointed out.

'W-Who is he?'

"It's because of my atopy!"

'Maybe her brother? Of course. She brought her brother because it's so late!' Daniel concluded.

"I'll take these."

Daniel closed his eyes and sighed in relief. 'Her brother is the polar opposite of her... must be tough for her!' When he opened his eyes again he found himself shocked again.

He didn't want to believe his eyes as he stared down at the package of condoms on the counter.

'Is this...? Why would she... buy such an adult product with family?'

Neither Yui or the guy she were able to meet Daniel's eyes, embarrassed.

"Single payment." The guy mumbled.

When Yui found the courage to glance down at Daniel and cough sight of his confused expression, she immediately got defensive.

"What the... What the hell are you looking at? Never seen those? This pig is pissing me off." She scoffed, looking away again.

"Right? You're annoyed, let's not buy them." The guy laughed nervously.

The guy looked down at Daniel, who was still staring at Yui in disbelief.

Daniel couldn't find it in himself to answer.

"Yuck. You make me sick." Yui hissed, glaring down at Daniel.

"Hey, say something." The guy demanded, growing impatient with Daniel's silence.

Daniel dodges the guy's fist without a second thought. Yui and the guy were left speechless.

'Yui... Was I dreaming?' Daniel thought, his fact still blank.

'What? He dodged it? This chunker?! I've developed that punch for ten years!' Yong Lee thought as he gritted his teeth. He was a senior, goddamnit, and this porker just dodged his punch without a problem?

"This damn tub of lard! Fuck. I went easy on you before." Yong growled and readied his fist for another punch.

Now that Daniel was thinking, he was nervous. 'No! M-Mom! Why's he hitting me?!' He squeezed his eyes shut.

Yong Lee stopped mid punch and looked to see who had interrupted Daniel's beating.

'He stopped. W-Who's that?'

Zack stood at the door, unsure of his next move.

"Who the hell are you?" Yong Lee said with a glare.

"Babe... He's in my class." Yui explained.

"Your class? So he's a freshman..."

'Yui Kim?! That's her boyfriend? ... Looks like a gangster.' Zack observed silently.

'... Why is this guy getting picked on again...?' Zack wondered.

'What if they go at it together?!' Daniel internally panicked.

Zack looked at Daniel's nervous expression. 'Does he... get beaten up all the time?' Zack thinks back to the times he had roughed the little guy and gulped.

Daniel was touched, 'Z-Zack!', but he was still scared shitless.

Zack quickly looked to the other man's hand, to see what it was he was doing, and if he was going to throw a punch or not. Boxer's instinct.

Zack ignored Yong's monologue, and instead focused on how he accessorized.

He leaned back and smirked at Yui.

"Hey, Yui. You're nervy. You had a boyfriend all along?"

Yong Lee paused, allowing Zack a chance to speak.

"... That wallet. You tried to give that wallet to Daniel but he refused it."

Yui flinched, her eyes going wide. "T-that's bullshit! Babe, let's just go! This guy's an idiot!"

Yong Lee held a hand out, "Just a sec." He said. Yui gulped. "You... go on."

Zack put his hands in his hoodie's pockets. "... There's a pretty boy in our class. Yui loves him so much that she brings him gifts."

"Those pants were a gift too. But Daniel turned her down... Plus that ass is head over heels for her too..."

Daniel shuddered, 'Oh no!!'

"Sweetie! This is a bunch of bull! He's saying it because he likes me!" Yui said almost pleadingly.

Zack only raised a brow. 'For real? You're no match for Mira...'

Yong Lee began to tremble. "... Hey... Yui Kim."

Zack and Daniel watched in shock.

"Shut up, bitch." Yong Lee growled, cracking his knuckles. "How many times?!" He screamed, kicking Yui in the stomach, making her slide across the tiled floor.

"You fucking slut." He stomped his foot on Yui's head, rubbing her face on the floor.

"Cheating again? Am I some kinda joke to you? You've been sneaking around with those bastards giving you balloons, eh?"

"Babe! That's other steamers! I would never do that!!" Yui pleaded.

"Shut up ! I don't believe you!"

"E-Excuse me!" Daniel held his hand out, 'Agh, Yui!'

"Hey, Jackass."

Zack glared at the abuser, taking one hand out of his pocket. "That's how you treat your girl? Both of you are trash."

"Jackass? Trash? Now I'm really fucking pissed."

Yui cried on the ground, sniffling and whimpering for her mom.

"Just a second, bitch. Get over here." Yong said to Zack.

'P-Police! I should call the cops!'
