A'dream POV

I was laying down in my bed with Kaizer beside me. We had made it back to Florida like 2 hours ago. It was nice to have Kaizer here with me and the kids. We were like a little family and it made me so happy.

I watched as King and Alaidria slept on the small couch that was in the room. King didn't like her at all at first because the baby wasn't Kaizer's. But after explaining to him that she was still his sister he started to like her.

I closed my eyes feeling myself drift off to sleep, that was until I heard a knock on the door.

"I got it." Kaizer said getting up and I closed my eyes again. They shot open though when I heard Elijah's voice.

He was a boy I met down here about two weeks after I moved here. He was really sweet and we were good friends. ONLY friends.

We never did anything strange looked at each other strange. We were just friends. I hoped Kaizer understood that.

I got up out the bed seeing him and Kaizer just staring at each other now.

"Hey A'dream." Elijah said with a smile now looking at me. I smiled waving awkwardly.

"Uh you can come in. We'll be right back tho ok." I said grabbing Kaizer's hand trying to pull him away but he didn't move.

"Who dis is?" He asked.

"That's what I'm tryna tell you if you would bring yo ass." I said and he looked at me. Elijah came in shutting the door behind him going to sit down.

"Elijah we will be right back ok don't go anywhere." I said pulling Kaizer towards the stairs.

"And don't touch anything." Kai said before finally cooperating with me coming up the stairs and into a room. I closed the door before sighing.

"Who da hell is dat?" Kai asked.

"His name is Elijah. I met him two weeks after being down here. We good friends ok. We haven't done anything AT ALL. Never flirted or anything." I said and he just stared at me.

"Kai please believe me. I wouldn't have asked you to come down here if I was fucking wit him." I said and he shook his head finna walk out the room but I grabbed him.

"Kaizer believe me. Me and Elijah are just friends. Not even best friends. Just friends, we cool. Just get to know him. Y'all could become friends too. He's cool I promise." I said letting him go.

"How my kids feel bout em?" He asked.

"They like him, he loves them. I let him watch them one time wh-"

"Dream...." Kaizer said and I sighed.

"He didn't hurt them ok. He had fun with them. He was a bomb ass babysitter. He's a good guy Kaizer. Give him a chance." I said and he rolled his eyes.

"Listen, I'll give him a chance. But if he get outta line or do sum shit I don't like. Imma beat his ass, Ight?" He said and i nodded.

"Ok, just give him a chance first. I promise you he's a good guy." I said and he nodded. We walked out the room going back downstairs. We seen Elijah just sitting down on the couch on his phone.

Kaizer looked at me and I smiled.

"Elijah we're back." I said and he looked at us. Me and Kai sat on the other couch as things were now quiet and awkward.

"Um so Elijah this is my-"

"Nigga, her nigga. I'm the father of them kids in there." Kai said cutting me off and Elijah nodded.

"You just now coming around tho?" He asked and I closed my eyes. The question wasn't bad but the way he said it was bad.

"I been there nigga, she moved do- yes I am just now coming around." Kai said with a smile.

"Oh cool you lame. But anyways-" I looked at Kai and he bit down on his bottom lip to keep from saying something crazy.

"How long y'all been together?" He asked.

"On and off. But this is the last time." I said with a smile and he nodded.

"When we met you told me you were single." He said.

"Cuz she was, did you not hear her say we on and off?" Kai asked and Elijah chuckled.

"Sorry dude." He said and I sighed.

"So both of the kids are y'all's together?" He asked and we nodded.

"Alaidria don't look like you." He said to Kai and I rolled my eyes.

"Mind yo damn business." Kai said and I shook my head.

"Damn my bad." Elijah said laughing.

"Elijah can you please stop? You doing this on purpose and you know you are. Leave my nigga alone." I said.

"Ight, I'm sorry." He said and i nodded.

"Daddy!" We all looked seeing King who was now up. But then what shocked the hell out of me is when he ran up to Elijah and not Kaizer.

"Hey King daddy missed you while you was gone." Elijah said with a smile kissing his cheek and he laughed.

Kaizer tried to get up but I held him down.

"King come here please." I said and he looked at me. He came over to me and I grabbed his hand letting Kaizer go quickly going in the room closing and locking the door.

I have never hit King before but I had to give him a hard pop.

"King Isaias Gaulden, DO NOT do that disrespectful shit again! You smart enough to know that is wrong! Yo daddy is Kaizer Josiah Gaulden! I don't wanna hear you call another nigga daddy other than him! That was very disrespectful of you and you owe him and apology!" I yelled at him as tears ran down his face.

"Do you hear me?" I asked and he nodded.

"Go sit down on the bed." I said and he did as told. Hearing things break from in the living room I quickly unlocked the door leaving out the room.

Seeing Kaizer on top of him sending nothing but hard blows to his face I immediately went to go grab him.

This is too much

"Kaizer stop! You gon kill em!" I yelled tryna pull him off.

Elijah wasn't even hitting him anymore, at this point he was tryna help me help him get him off of him.

I was literally using all my strength, guess imma weak bitch because.....

"Kaizer please stop!" I yelled and he looked back at me. He stopped and I moved away from him when he stood up.

"Getcho ass outta here! And don't come back! Next time I see you I'll kill you!" Kaizer yelled and I watched as Elijah struggled to get up.

When he did he went to get his stuff before limping his way out the house.

"You so lucky A'dream, that I'm actually tryna change. So I ain't gon hit you. But I'm out." He said finna walk in the room but I grabbed him.

"Kai you can't leave ok, can we talk about this?" I asked and he pushed me away going in the room and I followed him.

"Kai I haven't ever heard King say that. I didn't even tell him to do it." I said and he ignored me starting to pack his stuff.

"I'm sorry." King said and Kai looked at him.

"It's Ight dude, he yo daddy, then he yo daddy. Ion give a damn no more." He said and King's eyes started to water.

"Kai don't do him like that." I said and he looked at me.

"I'm sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feelings." King said and Kai shook his head.

"I said it's Ight King. I ain't yo daddy no more tho." He said and a tear rolled down my face.

"Kaizer please don't go." I said and he laughed grabbing his phone and his keys. I went over to the door shutting it then locking it.

"I don't know why King said that ok. But I truly believe Elijah told him to say that. I promise you I didn't tell him to do that." I said.

"Ok that's fine I believe you. But I'm still finna go." He said tryna push me out the way.

"Please don't leave." King cried.

"Nah bruh, Imma call yo daddy and tell him to come back, Ight?" Kaizer said being an asshole.

"Kai stop doing him like that." I said.

"Nah Imma go call his daddy. Cuz obviously it ain't me." He said laughing. I watched as King got off the bed going in the bathroom closing the door.

"My feelings hurt to Isaias!" Kai yelled and I sighed.

"Move out the way please so I can go." He said and I shook my head.

"What you leaving for? I didn't do anything wrong. King said it not me and I didn't tell him to say it. He apologized please stay." I said.

"No, that hurt my feelings. Hearing my son call another nigga daddy, fuck type shit is that?" He asked and I closed my eyes.

"Kai we just got back, you gon leave me? Over this? Something I knew nothing about?" I asked opening them again. He ran his hands down his face.

"Look I just wanna be alone for a lil bit. I'll leave and come back in 2 weeks." He said and I started to cry.

"You gon go back to Houston and find a whole new bitch! Just to hurt my feelings! I didn't know anything about this Kaizer!" I yelled at him and he laughed.

He gave me a hard slap on the ass and I screamed feeling as it started to sting.

"Who said anything about finding a new bitch? I said I wanted to be ALONE, now you just heard what the fuck you wanted to hear." He said and a tear rolled down my face.

He hit me again in the same spot and I gasped.

"Don't yell at me again either." He said before going in the bathroom where King was.

"Ouch." I said but no sound came out. I just knew he made a bruise.

Kaizer POV

I went in the bathroom seeing King just sitting down in the tub making me laugh. I closed the door and he looked at me. Tears ran down his face and I sighed.

"Can I get in?" I asked and he nodded. I picked him up getting in then I sat him on my lap.

"Do you hate me?" He asked and I chuckled.

"No King, why would I hate you?" I asked.

"You seemed really mad at me." He said.

"Just cuz I was mad doesn't mean I hate you. You just hurt my feelings." I said and he looked at me.

"I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." He said.

"Well you did, why would you call him yo daddy? I'm yo daddy, that's very disrespectful King." I said.

"He told me last time I seen him I could call him that since my daddy wasn't around." He said and I nodded.

"I'm right here tho, and don't think because I wasn't around for a Lil bit I forgot about you or sum shit. I had been trying my hardest to get in contact with you. So I wasn't around because I didn't wanna be, I wasn't around because I didn't really know where you were. You understand?" I asked and he nodded.

"Next time you see that nigga, which you shouldn't. But if you do don't ever call him that again, ok?" I said and he nodded.

"I'm sorry." He said standing up now. He wrapped his arms around my neck giving me a hug and I laughed.

"It's ok King, I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said and I kissed his cheek.

"You gonna stay?" He asked and I sighed.

"I'm gonna leave for 2 weeks ok and then imma come back." I said.

"Can I got too?" He asked and I shook my head.

"No, daddy wanna be alone." I said and he pouted.

"But you just came back. Now you gon leave again? What was the point?" He asked and I sighed.

"You know what, I'm not gon leave ok." I said and he smiled.

"Imma stay with you, mommy and Jalé ok." I said and he nodded.

"You and mama back?" He asked and I nodded.

"And we gon stag together, ok?" I said and he nodded.
