A'dream POV

I sat on the bed braiding Kaizer's hair for him. We took the kids to go see their uncles because Kai said he wanted to talk to me. But he wasn't even saying anything. He hasn't said anything since we got back and it's irritating me.

I started braiding his hair really tight and he grabbed my wrist.

"Ease up Dream!" He snapped and snatched my wrist from out his grip. I continued to braid as tight as I could and he hissed.

"I'll beat the fuck outta you." He said and I eased up. I finished up his braids and he turned around to look at me.

"I gotta question." He said and I nodded.

"Do you like when I beat on you?" He asked and I didn't say anything.

"A'dream, I know good and damn well you don't fucking like that shit." He said and I looked at him.

"You right I don't. But I feel like I deserve it. I want you to beat me, because I need to be beat. I just deserve it." I said getting up to put the hair stuff away.

"A'dream you don't deserve to be beat. You deserve to be maybe ignored or talked rude to but beat Nah." He said and I shook my head going to sit back down.

"Whatever." I mumbled and he rolled his eyes.

"I hope you know you get on my damn nerves. I'm tryna change for yo hoe ass but you steady wantin-"

"First of all I'm not a hoe." I said.

"Like I said I'm tryna change for yo hoe ass but you steady wanting me to go back to how I use to be." He said and I sighed.

"I don't want you to go back to that Kai, I don't. I just feel like sometimes that's what you need to do. Because I really be getting outta hand." I said.

"And don't I always put you in check?" He asked and I nodded.

"Right, A'dream hitting you is not the only way to make you act right or do something. I had to realize that myself, now I need you to realize that. Don't expect me to hit you every time you do something wrong. Ight." He said and I nodded.

"Ight, I'm sorry and I love you." I said and he nodded so I mushed his head.

"Don't start Dream." He said.

"Why you ain't say it back? You always say it back." I said and he shrugged.

"I love you Dream Ight. But you really make it so fucking hard to say that." He said making me look down.

"I mean listen, A'dream I love you with all my heart, I do. But the shit you do my nigga, makes me wanna take my words back." He said and a tear rolled down my face.

"And I really don't understand why you crying. You do the most A'dream, and your do the most is start drama do the most." He said and I rolled my eyes.

My phone started ringing and I was finna get it but Kai got it making my eyes widen.

I tried to take it away from him which made him look at me like I was crazy. Then the phone stopped ringing and we just stared at each other as we both held onto the phone.

"You hiding something?" Kai asked and I shook my head.

"I just wanted to see who it was first." I said.

"You had to have known who it was to react like dat Dream." He said and I shook my head.

"Can you just let it go?" I asked tryna take it but he held onto it tighter.

"Who is it?" He asked and I shrugged.

"I'm tryna see Kai, just gimme da phone." I said.

"Who do you think it is? The way you reacted made it seem like you hiding something." He said.

"I'm not hiding anything, I'm just tryna see who it was Kai." I said.

"Can I see who it was?" He asked and I shook my head.

"No, cuz you just gon go through it." I said.

"You damn right, but it shouldn't be a problem if you not hiding anything right?" He asked and I rolled my eyes letting the phone go.

The phone rang again and seeing who it was this time I snatched it from Kai. I ran out the room quickly going in Alaidria's shutting and locking the door..

"So you couldn't answer the first time?"

"Look I'm sorry, I do have a nigga and I had to go through a lil session with him to get this damn phone. Fuck do you need?" I asked.

"Um you not gon come see yo daughter?" He asked and I sighed.

"You know....." I said.

"You wrong Dream. This is yo daughter you pushed her out. Carried her for 9 months but can't even come see her? Nigga I did you a favor by taking full custody." He said and a tear rolled down my face.

"I know thank you ok. Imma come see her tho." I said.

"Lie, you always say that but you haven't came yet." He said.

"Look I'm going to come see her, I promise you. My nigga don't even know bout her tho-"

"That's yo fault. Always hiding something for no reason. You making it worse for yourself." He said.

"Imma come see her soon." I said in a low quiet voice.

"A'dream you gotta do better. This ain't it." He said before hanging up and I rolled my eyes.

Yes, I do have another daughter. I got pregnant by that nigga I fucked. Her name is Harmony Zahra Rose and she's 4 months.

When I gave birth to her I spent maybe 2 weeks with her before I sent her with her dad. I gave him full custody. I haven't exactly went to see her either. But I talk to her on the phone as much as I can whenever I can.

I want to tell Kaizer but I feel like he gonna leave me. But I honestly was making things worse by keeping this from him.

I unlocked the door before opening it and he stood right there. I looked at him as he looked down.

"Kaizer I need to talk to you." I said and he didn't say anything just walked away and I followed him.

He sat on the couch and I sat beside him. I tried to grab his hand but he pushed me away.

"Um first I love you." I said and he nodded.

"Second Imma fix this." I said.

"And third you have to stay with me. You just have to be patient and have some understanding." I said.

"Dream shut the fuck up with the sap shit and tell me what you need to tell me." He said and I sighed.

"I have another daughter." I said and he put his head down.

"Her name is Harmony and shes 4 months now. When I fucked that one nigga I had got pregnant ok. About two weeks after I had her I gave her to him and he took full custody of her. I haven't went to see her and that was him who was calling me about that." I said.

He wasn't saying anything or doing anything which had me nervous.

That's when I noticed he was crying. I didn't wanna touch him or say anything so I just sat there.

There was a knock on the door and I got up to go open it. Seeing it was Trell and Miya I started cursing myself out in my head.

"Why you take so long?" Trell asked when I opened it. Him and Miya came in making me sigh.

"Kai what's wrong?" Miya asked him.

"Dream what's wrong with him?" Trell asked and I shrugged knowing I knew.

"She a cheater that's what the fuck wrong wit me." Kai said going in the room slamming the door.

"What did you do?" Miya asked sounding like she was mad at me.

"Don't do dat like you don't know I got pregnant by that nigga I told you I fucked." I said and she laughed.

"You still ain't went to see Harmony?" Trell asked and I shook my head.

"Why cuz you don't wanna lose Kai? I thought yo kids came first?" Miya asked.

"Ok first of all Imma need you to calm allat down ok. You acting like this brand new information to you. Baby you been knew." I said.

"Y'all knew?" We all turned to look at Kai.

"Duh Kai, why wouldn't we have known?" Trell asked and he laughed.

"I fucking hate all of y'all, I'm finna go get my kids and bounce. All y'all ain't shit." He said getting his keys and I grabbed his arm before he could leave.

"You finna go get what?" I asked and he looked at me.

"My kids and bounce. Like you be running away, yeah dats what dis is." He said and my grip got tighter.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"Don't worry bout it, you single my nigga." He said.

"I thought I said you have to stay with me?" I questioned.

"See you got it twisted right there. I don't HAVE to do a damn thing. I'm me and you don't control me." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"You don't even wanna talk?" I asked.

"Talk about what? You need to take yo ass on to see that damn baby." He said and i sighed.

"You making this harder for me to deal with." I said.

"Ion give a damn." He said and I nodded.

"Ok fine whatever Kai, but you not gon take my kids away from me." I said.

"You give me Kamiya vibes." Trell said and she kicked him.

"You can let me go now." Kai said but I didn't.

"Before I make you let go." He said and I let him go.

"What the fuck is wrong with y'all?" Trell asked.

"Nun wrong wit me it's her, I think them drugs fucking up her head a lil bit." Kai said and my eyes widen making him smirk.

"Drugs? What drugs?" Miya asked.

"N-Nothing Kai you can go." I said and he laughed.

"Nah answer da question." He said and then I felt something get snatched from my back pocket.

"Oh you on dis shit too huh?" I huffed and Kai shook his head.

"Yeah I'll stay for dis show." He said going to sit down on the couch.

When I thought shit was going good, watch how bad shit can get. Never knew my relationship with a family could change in a second.
