《Toxic》Play Date and a Reunion

-From Joker's POV-
"HE'S WHAT?" I didn't believe what I was hearing. I looked around me and saw a vase. I picked it up with one hand and pulled it over my head, hurling it at the wall. Scott dodged the line of fire and spoke again.
"Bones is alive and in Gotham, sir. Owns The Great Wall." e said back again. My breaths were shallow as my temper was only growing more and more out of control. He hurt dollface and had the balls to be walking around, breathing and unharmed, in my city?? I set my hands down on my desk and looked down in thought for a minute.
"Cancel the heist I had planned today. Prepare the room in the basement and get me an armored vehicle and an armed team for tonight. We're going on a dinner date." I tell him without looking up. I sat down in my desk chair and swiveled it around so I was looking out the window.
"But sir-" Scott begins trying to reason.
"Scotty that wasn't a question it was an order." I bark back. Without any other words, I hear his boots stomp out of the room and the door close behind him. I just sat for a moment and watched out the window. Dammit dollface, why didn't you kill him?? You had more than one chance. I wasn't mad that I had to go take care of this now. I mean hell, I didn't have to, but I had to, you know? I had no problem killing him. It would be the highlight of my week. I was mad that dollface didn't ice him at our last night at the club. Why didn't she do it? Was she protecting him?? Did she have feelings for him?? I could only feel myself getting more annoyed. I shouted out for one of the workers to come in and clean up the vase and made my way downstairs to the basement where I could play with my guns to prevent me from breaking anymore vases.

Around 5 PM, I had gotten into my favorite suit, ready to go slaughter this idiot. Dinner time was the busiest for any restaurant, so of course the owner would be there overlooking things. I had my long purple snakeskin coat on and had a submachine gun in my hand. I walked outside and saw Scott and other henchmen loading the truck with weapons and suits. Scott had given the driver directions and everyone was getting inside. "Well boys, it's showtime.".
We pull into the parking lot of his stupid restaurant and swing the doors of the van open. I hop out first and all my men start following behind me. They were suited up, but I didn't care enough to wear one today. I wanted that scum to know it was me. I opened the door of the restaurant with force, causing some customers to look at the source of the noise. Many of them went pale in shock and began scrambling to get their belongings and leave. "Where's the owner?" I barked out at the host.

"Sir, I-" he began stuttering. I pulled up the gun I was carrying and grabbed him by the collar.
"Answer the question boy." I growl out. He quickly changes his answer and tells me he was in an office, all the way at the back of the restaurant on the right. I smiled at his cooperation. "Mmm. Brilliant." and pulled the trigger. By now, most of the restaurant was clearing out, but the gunshots also made some of Bones' men stand guard. As soon as the handful of them pulled their weapons, my men were already on it. They began shooting back in forth as I recklessly made my way to the back office with Scott. I shot the doorknob off and kicked the door open with my foot. He was sitting in there with a gun already drawn out and pointed in the direction of the door when I entered. He was sitting back there doing payroll according to the stack of checks on his desk. I flashed him my evil and psychotic grin. "Bonesy! I've missed you so much!" I yell.
"What the hell do you want?" he asks me. My grin quickly drops as I glare at him.
"Well, I was in the neighborhood and figured we could have a play date." I say as I wave my gun around with my hand gestures. "Now, do we have to make you come with us, or is this going to be easy?" I ask him. His gun was still pointed at me.
"What?" he says in confusion, slightly tilting his head and distracting him.
"Eh. Wrong answer." I stick my gun out and shoot him in the foot, fully shifting his attention. I waved my hand and Scott went over and disarmed him before dragging him. I smiled at the sight and turned my back, ready to leave.
I quickly stalked through the destroyed dining room and stepped over bodies of unlucky customers, staff, and Bones' goons. My men were standing posted at the door, waiting for me and once they saw Scott and I walk out, dragging Bones along, they hopped into the back of the truck and I quickly followed. We shut the doors just as we heard sirens in the distance.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was now just the two of us. I had two of my men strap him down to a chair in the weapons room in the basement for our play date. I hummed as I walked around, picking my favorite weapons off the wall why he was struggling and trying to get out of his restraints. I chuckled at his struggling before walking around to face him again, squatting down slightly so I was at his eye level. "Why so upset?" I asked with a smile.

"You're fucking nuts!" he spits out at me. I laugh at his words.
"Well duh." I giggle out. "Now, why have you been such a meanie?" I say with a fake pout. His anger and annoyance begins boiling over.
"YOU BROKE INTO MY RESTAURANT AND KILLED A BUNCH OF PEOPLE BEFORE KIDNAPPING ME!" he shouts at me. I grin and hum at his response.
"Mmm. I do love a grand entrance." I say. "But anyways, I have no idea why my dollface spared you, but I'm here to fix that." I say as I pull out one of my good knives. He begins saying something, but before I can care enough to listen, I stab him straight in the stomach, causing him to wince. I smile at his reaction.
"You don't get it, do you?" he groans out.
"Get what?" I say as I begin picking out my next toy. He starts chuckling.
"Oh? You don't know why she was at my restaurant in the first place, do you?" he asks deviously. I pull out an electric bone saw and hold it to one of his fingers.
"Care to tell me?" I ask him as his hand squirms.
"If I tell you, will you let go of my hand??" he asks annoyed. I laugh and nod my head. "She was on a date. average height guy, brown hair, stubble. He was all holding onto to her waist and they even kissed outside." he says with a giggle. My attitude worsens and I push the saw down on his finger, cutting through it. He screams in pain.
"Don't you dare lie about my dollface like that." I bark out. I use one of the guns nearby to hit him in the face with the butt of it.
"Why would I lie?? To piss you off more just so you can take it out on me?? Look at you, doing her bidding." he scoffs. I take my knife again and hold it to the side of his mouth and begin lightly sliding it upwards, creating a smile, as he screams in pain.
"I'm not doing her bidding. I 'm doing what I should've done the night I kicked your ass." I say confidently.
"Look at you, crime lord doing bidding for a woman who not only never wanted you, but now has a new man?!" he starts laughing. I punch him straight across the face and step on his foot that was shot at, causing him to vomit in pain. While his head is bent down, I take the opportunity and raise my leg up, meeting my knee with his nose.
"Shut the hell up." I growl at him.
"You're mad because I'm being honest!! If you don't believe me, why don't you go pay her an unannounced visit for yourself?" he suggests. I pull one of my good pistols out and cock it.
"Bye bye Bonesy." I say before pointing the gun at his head. No, the head is a simple way out. I slide the aim down to his stomach and shoot it twice, causing him to scream in pain as stomach acid and blood begin coming out. There. Slow and painful. You deserve every minute after what you did to dollface. I put my pistol back in it's place and begin making my way upstairs so I can tell my men to go clean up the mess whenever the screaming stops and go clean the blood off of me.
I was walking to my room when Scott saw me. "Boss," he said with a concerned look pointing at my shoulder. "You got shot??" he asks. I tilt my head down and look. Hm that's new. I guess in my fit of rage, I never noticed that I got shot at some point. Probably when I was carelessly walking through the crossfire at the restaurant. I sighed in annoyance as I looked t it.
"I'll be fine." I grunt out, just now realizing how much it actually does hurt, walking forward.
"We gotta take you to Y/n. She's the only one who handles gunshot wounds well." he reasons.
"No." I shoot back right away.
"Boss, you know she'd want you to..." he says weakly. I feel my stomach sink a little at his words. I sigh before I turn back to face him.
"We're taking your car, I don't want to bleed all over mine." I mumble. He nods and pulls his car keys out of his pocket and we begin walking outside.
So this was how I was going to see her for the first time since she left?

Kind’s Kiss
MAGIC DOESN'T KILL, NOT BY ITSELF. IT NEEDS A LITTLE HELP. Jessica DeRidder is a substitute teacher and mage in hiding, her daughter Ellen a killer on the run. Their next job lands the mother-daughter team in Hellhole, a small town in the middle of nowhere. All they need to do is their job. For Mom to identify the problem, and for Ellen to... fix it. Easy. Simple. But not this time. The pair find themselves caught in the struggle between the Man-in-White and the Wicked Witch of the West. A mysterious image and the theft of a deadly flower lead the pair to a score of dead prisoners, magical drug dealers, and red-eyed assassins falling from the sky. And somehow it all seems to be related to Ellen's murky past. All Ellen wants to do is do her homework, eat ice cream, and protect her newfound friends (not necessarily in that order). She'll go all-in, guns blazing. But when the smoke clears there may be nothing left but a stranger's past and a lonely future. --- 'Kind's Kiss' is a light, modern-day fantasy, easy on the magic, heavy on the snark. Though complete it is still a work in progress. One reviewer described it as 'Buffy meets Sabrina, as done by Tarantino'. I'm still not sure if I should consider that a compliment or hire a hitman :-)

Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.
