《Toxic》Club Goin' Up

-From Joker's POV-
It had been about 6 days since the encounter with Y/n and it was still replaying in my mind. That bastard idiot Bones was telling the truth; as soon as I met Blue, I noticed that he fit the description to a T. If that wasn't enough, I don't know any henchmen who dress like that and watch movies, but even more so him kissing her goodnight in front of me was just the nail in the coffin. But then her kissing me in the car? Oh, doll. You have no idea what you've just done. I love a good cat-and-mouse game. Especially if it's with my doll.
My doll.
My doll.
Yeah, my doll. Nobody else could have her and that's final.
"SCOTTY BOY!!" I yell from in my office. He comes shuffling in the room. "Bring whoever you need with you to go find Bones' car and bring it to me. It should still be parked at that cruddy restaurant. Hot wire if needed. Whatever. But I want it here by the end of the day." I tell him. He nods and leaves the room without saying anything else.
I took my phone out and began looking for a florist service and a delivery service. Time to let doll know the game has began.

-From your POV-
Blue sat on the sofa across from me, arms crossed and tapping his leg. He had been tense and touchy all week after Joker's little visit. "You're trying to tell me you never dated him? Then why does he hate me so much?" he questioned. I had one arm resting on the top of the couch, leaning my hand against my temple. I lightly shrugged and shook my head.
"No idea why. Why take it out on me?" I ask. He rolls his eyes.
"Because you're obviously skating around the truth." he says more annoyed. I sigh.
"You wanna know? We were business partners. That is all. We never dated, never kissed, never hooked up. Not even as much as a hug." Two lies and a truth. "So as to why he would hate you? I don't know. Why do you think it is?" I ask him.
"Because you guys have the relationship dynamic of exes. That's why he would hate me. Jealousy." he says.
"You just work for me. Why would he be jealous?" I say. I see his leg stop tapping and then he stares at me before scoffing and standing up to leave. "Wait, where are you going??" I stand up and follow him.
"Just work for you?? Is that what this is to you? A joke? A cute little boss-employee affair?" he asks in a harsh tone. Internal sigh. I put my hand up to his cheek.
"No, you're much more than that to me." I say in a convincing tone.
"Then say it. Say it and mean it or I'm leaving and not coming back, Y/n." he said sternly. Y/n. Something about him saying my name didn't sit right with me. I just... no. I didn't want to hear him say it. Something about it was just bleh. I lightly place my hands on his shoulders and look into his eyes.

"Blue, you are so much more to me than just a worker. You even mean more to me than any working relationship or friendship I had with J... Joker, I mean." I lie. He sighs.
"A boyfriend?" No.....
"Yes! Exactly it. You're my boyfriend, and I'm your girlfriend. All yours." Another lie. He smiles softly at my words. He tilts his forehead forward, placing it against mine. "Please, limit how much you have to interact with him?" he suggests. HAHAHA HELL NO.
"Of course, anything for you." I smile at him.
We go back into the living room and sit down and pick out Avengers: Age of Ultron. He puts his arm around my shoulder meaning I spent 2 hours convincing myself in my head to ignore it. God I hate when people touch me. When the movie ended, I sprung up off the couch and went into the kitchen to start making myself something to eat. "So," he walks over to the kitchen. "Can I take you out now, as your boyfriend?" he asks me. I move my eyes up to his for a moment.
"You do remember the part of me being on the FBIs most wanted list, right?" I say before looking back down at what I was preparing.
"Well... I want to do something like a normal couple." he says.
"But we aren't normal." I say.
"How so?" he asks.
"I'm a clinically diagnosed sociopath who is a fugitive from the law because I'm an assassin. Also that stupid bat idiot is on my ass every ten minutes." I say.
"Well I think we should make the best of it and act as normal as we can." Boo. Sounds boring. I bet you like vanilla sex too, don't you? .
"Sure." I say so I can end the conversation and go back to my meal prep.
"I'm gonna go run a few errands, you have the fort held down until then?" he asks. I look at him and raise my eyebrows.
"Without a man in the house everything will go to hell in five minutes!!" I pretend to pout. He just shakes his head and leaves.
"Jesus Christ please save me from myself." I sigh out as I hear his car pull out of the door yard.
I was eating the sandwich I had made when I heard the doorbell ring. I had installed an electronic lock system on all the doors and windows of the house a few days ago that had surveillance cameras and a central system that could control every lock on the house all at once. I used my phone to check who was there through the camera and saw a delivery truck. I felt my eyebrows go up together in confusion.
"Does someone nicknamed 'Dollface' live here?" the confused delivery boy asks. I nod my head slowly. He hands me a bouquet of magenta daisies and a big store bag and leaves before I can ask him anything. I close the door and head back inside as I inspect the flowers. There was a little green and purple card attached, immediately telling me who sent them.
Let the games begin, doll.

-J.
I slid the card into my back pocket before Blue saw it and blew his lid. I found a vase to put the daisies into and then moved onto the shopping bag. It had a huge box inside of it. I set it on the table and began unboxing it. I pulled it out and inspected it closely; it was a magenta colored dress that came to the mid-thigh and had semi-sleeves and a turtleneck. It was made out of a latex material and inside the box was a matching pair of shin-high socks and platforms. Platforms. On the inside of the box, written on the bottom, was another note from him.
I'll see you at the club tonight 10 PM. Wear it.
-J
So this is the game, huh? Got it.
When Blue got back, I practically jumped from my seat. "I know what we're doing tonight." I said excitedly. He set down the store bags he had on the table and took his coat off, waiting for me to continue. "We're going clubbing." I say.
"Clubbing?" he asks.
"Mhm. It's a real classy joint. I already have an outfit picked out. You should wear a suit. We're going at 10." I tell him.
"It sounds like you're asking me, not telling me." he jokes.
"So is that a rejection?" I ask.
"No..." he says.
"Good. So 10, be ready." I say as I begin to grin to myself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had just finished doing my hair and had just put on my favorite fragrance. I had managed to figure out how to operate with those chunky ass platforms on. I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my phone and car keys. "Ready?" I called as I walked into the living room. He was sitting on the couch, already dressed and ready to go, just looking at me.
"Wow... All this for me?" Boy hell to the no not for you.
"Mhm." I hum back in response. "Now, it's showtime." I say as I pull my furry magenta coat on. I really did wear this color well.
We got to the club and I tucked my phone and keys into the pocket of my coat. We got in right away without waiting in the line because the bouncer recognized me. "You know him or something??" Blue asks amazed that we skipped the line. I shake my head.
"Nope. When you act confident enough, you can get anything you want and go anywhere you want." I say. We sit down at the bar and each order something.
"You drink whiskey neat?" he asked.
"It's what I'm drinking right now, isn't it?" I giggle. I drink it down pretty quickly. I can feel his eyes on me; I know exactly where he's sitting and I know that he's watching me. So what do I do? I lean over to Blue and start kissing him. His breath has vague scents of vodka on it, which makes me want a vodka cranberry, so I pull away and flag down a bartender and order one. "Oh and by the way, I'm with Mr.J so no tab." I whisper to the tender. I get my drink and have it all and then have about two more vodka cranberries before I'm ready to dance. I stood up from the stool and dragged Blue by his hand onto the dance floor, but to a spot I knew that he would be able to see us from his throne.
Once we got to the spot, I made sure to stand with Blue's back to J so he didn't catch on to what was happening. Womanizer by Britney Spears started playing. Really? Lady Gaga and now Britney? Not that it's not a good song, but you'd think a club ran by a gangster would have something harder. I've made this argument before, but it still stands. I start dancing all up on Blue, my eyes half open. I can feel the buzz from the five drinks I had gradually growing. We danced through about 15 more songs, meaning we had been there for 45 minutes straight, just dancing. "I'm going to the bathroom!" he shouted to me. I nodded and he squeezed his way out of the crowd. I turned my back around and began dancing to Toxic by Britney Spears. I knew him well enough to know this would bait him.
Sure enough, into the chorus, I felt strong hands with cold rings on them find my waist. His grip is tight and rough, but that is the way I prefer it. I smile deviously as I realize the games have really started. I feel his firm chest up against my back and I don't hesitate to lean backwards on him slightly, dancing all up against him. "I like this game." I say to him. I hear him laugh deep in his chest before his head bends down to the side of my head, reaching my ear.
"Doll, you knew very well not to bring company." he says as he tightens his grip on my waist.
"And you know very well that I don't listen to anyone." I reply, eyes still closed and dancing to the music. I feel his hand slowly slide down from my waist to my mid-thigh, where the dress ends. His fingers wrap around the hem of the dress, placing a barrier between the skin of my thigh and the dress.
"Then maybe you should be taught how to be more submissive." he growls. His words make my heart rate sky rocket and my eyes peel open. I guess he could tell how I reacted because he just started laughing deep in his chest again before palming my thigh and kissing on my neck. It didn't last long, within ten seconds he withdrew all touch from me and left without saying a word. I turned around and bumped into Blue who had finally squeezed his way back into the crowd. We continued to dance, but J was on my mind now. He had me riled up and ready to go; to be honest, I forgot I was even there with Blue.
"I'm going to get a drink and head to the bathroom! Be right back!" I lied as I began squeezing out of the crowd.
Time to find him.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
