As I set foot inside our house the first thing that comes to my mind is where the hell did Delilah go.

And the worst part is, I have no idea. I don't even know her full name or if she has any family that still alive. Unfortunately for me, I had no chance to talk to her personally because of lack of time.

Or maybe because I am just an asshole to her.

And thinking that she might be in danger makes me feel so bad. And it's like part of my heart is yelling at me, telling me to not let her go.

And I truly can't let her go.

So instead to check her room, that would probably empty, I went to my office and check the camera security at the guest room area. While reviewing the footage Hades walk in and look at me directly in the eyes.

And at that very moment the footage that I am looking for came in view.

How Samantha comfronted Delilah and told her that she needs to leave and so on, that after we've watched it, both of us went ballistic.

"That f*cking b*tch has no idea that she's digging her own grave." Hades commented with clenched jaw.

Me on the other hand had my knuckles turned white and if she's not pregnant I gonna rip her head off.

"Check the driveway camera Ares, she won't get out from here without passing through that gate." Hades suggested but that's what I am planning to do.

And there she is, running and it looks like she's crying and who wouldn't cry if a bitch like Samantha, told her that she's ugly and unwanted!

And I am really so fucking done with her!

As I watch her again, she was stopped by one of our guards; Gerard.

They chat for a while, before both of them leave and my blood boils just thinking that they were together.

And before I could throw something to the wall, my phone rings.

And speaking if the devil.

"Yes, Gerard."

"Sir I am sorry to disturb you but I need your help."

"What happen to her? Where is Delilah?" I asked in deep voice. I know who Gerard is, he's been working with me for years and he's trustworthy. But I cannot understand why I'm reacting this way, like I want to shout at him and ask him what he did to her.

"Boss, she's here at the hospital. Today afternoon while I am about to end my shift, I saw her trying to get out from here, crying so I stopped her. She told me that she needs to go, but I can't, so I offered her my house, but as soon as we entered, she passed out. She got a high fever that didn't go down so I decided to bring her at the hospital, and the Doctor found out that she was abused. She had 5 broken ribs and the Doctor asked me how she got those because I told him that I am her brother and I actually don't know the answer." And after he's done explaining, I told him that I will come to that hospital as fast as I can.

"What happened? where is she?" Hades asked.

"She's in the hospital." His eyes widened in disbelief and so am I.

I have no idea that she's suffering under those beautiful eyes.

How am I so oblivious.

And I fucking hate myself.

After driving my Bugatti like a maniac to the hospital that Gerard told me, I arrived at it for just few minutes, and I didn't hesitate to call him that I'm here already.

When I saw him approaching I saw how worried he is.

"Where is she?"

"She's in her room and I cannot enter because they are still treating her."

"Okay, lets go." I told him as I crossed her room with just few strides. I knocked on her door and the nurse open it.

"How is she?"

"And who are you?" The doctor said with hint of annoyance that really infuriates me , not only for talking to me like that but for asking who am I.

Like who I am?

Is he for real?

" and I am here for Delilah Jade. She's my father's ward and I want to know her condition right now! After that I'm gonna bring her to another hospital." I told him impassively because I don't really like the kind of tone he used at me.

Like, he deduces that we are the one who abused her.

And the one who did this to her was none other than —- Jack.

Who is currently at our basement and he definitely will be dealt with once I am done here.

"Oh, uhm well Mr. De Luca she's really weak and we are doing our best. But if you want to transfer her to another hospital, it is also fine." He replied in a normal tone unlike before.

Good.

"What time we can do that?" I asked and then we talk.

While Gerard glanced at Delilah and I noticed how his eyes filled with concern.

I mean why?

They don't know each other so why he care?

"Gerard it looks like you care for her so much, why?" I asked him after my conversation with the her Doctor.

He let out a deep sigh before he speaks.

"Boss I know it's weird but she reminds me of my sister. I just don't know where she is right now because our Aunt took her when she was just a baby. Her eyes, she reminds me of my Mom, a lot." And immediately my ears perked-up like what if they are related?

"It's okay. But do you have any idea where she is? I mean your sister and your Aunt."

"I don't know where is my sister. My Aunt told me that she sold her and she didn't want to tell me to whom. I was only 10 that time and I couldn't do anything until she died. Drug overdose and I fucking hate myself for not trying harder to look for her." And before I could reply to him, the Doctor came and said that everything is ready for the transferring.

While me and Gerard are walking towards my Car, what he said keeps disturbing my mind. Like what if they are siblings?

DNA testing is not that hard for anyone, and I can help, specially for her.

"If you like I am willing to do the DNA for the two of you. It's fast and easy and I will take care everything." He looked at me in disbelief but at the same time his eyes filled with hope. Like he really like what I suggested.

"Boss—- I know I am just a guard but why you're willing to do this?"

"I owe her a lot, I mean me and my siblings." And I want to tell him that I —-

That I like her.

That I am attracted to her.

But I was an asshole that maybe I add some more pain to her already paining heart.

"That's for now. I will call you soon once everything is settled. Now go home because you have a work tomorrow." I said before I get inside of my car leaving him with slightly mouth open. Maybe he's wondering why I am so cool, well ofcourse if ever they are related and she's her brother, I think I have to build a good relationship with Gerard.

"What happened to her?"

Asked by Diony and Apollo in unison, and I don't know if this is the right time to explain to them about Delilah because It's already 6 am and I want to go home again to deal with a bitch and a fucker!

Thinking about what Samantha did to her makes me want to burried her alive while I want to rip Jack's body parts into tiny pieces and let dogs eat it.

"She has broken ribs, weak and malnourished. Gerard brought her to the hospital because she got a high fever and and she's fine now. So I asked for transfer to here so that it would be easy for us to take care of her too." I explained. I placed her beside my father's room so that my siblings can see them without a problem, as I have to go now and deal with someone.

"Who the hell did that to her!" Apollo asked through gritted teeth. He's angry and so am I.

"Jack— that's why I need to go now to deal with them."

"What you mean them?" Diony asked and I told him quickly what Samantha did and he wants to come home too.

"No! Stay here. Hades is in the house but I will send him here after. What ever happens my phone is reachable, so call me." I said before turning my back and walked away but not before kissing my baby sister and my father on their foreheads.
