May 27th. The last day of school.

Ever since prom, I've been seeing Landon a lot more around school. I've also been spending more time with Darren and Chance, along with Madison.

We were taking the last final. There weren't that many kids in school. Darren, Chance , and Madison said they weren't going to take finals and stayed home.

By the time our testing hour was up, so was school.

Over the past two months, I've gained fifteen pounds. Most of it goes to my stomach.

I walked out of the school doors.

"So, how's the baby?" Naomi walked past me with Landon, smirking.

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk to the white truck. I got in getting greeted by my brother.

We drove home in silence.

When we pulled up to the drive way and recognized a Jeep parked on the road and a unfamiliar black truck.

I quickly got out and ran inside.

I looked around the house and sighed.

"Stop! Put her bra back!" I heard Madison yell from upstairs. I quietly started to climb the stairs. My bedroom door was open, I saw Darren laying on my bed looking at his phone. Next thing I saw Chance fall to the ground onto his back.

He groaned as Madison pinned him down.

"Can I pluck your eyebrows?" She asked him as she showed him some tweezers.

"Uh, fuck no" he tried to get up from under her.

"Too late" I walked in my room getting everybody's attention.

"Mase! Finally" Madison jumped up trying to hide her blush. Chance quickly got up, also blushing.

"There's this bonfire tonight-" Darren started.

"No" I firmly said as I sat on my bed next to him.

"Why? It'll be fun"

"You said that last time and ended up screwing another girl" I quickly covered my mouth as soon as I finished my sentence.

"What?" Darren chuckled while slowly sitting up.

"Nothing" I smiled cheekily at him.

"So, a bonfire? Let's go!" Madison smiled.

"Maisie do you want to go?" Darren asked me.

All three of them were looking at me, "I guess for a little bit, lately I've just been wanting to sleep" I rubbed my stomach.

"Alright I'll come back ar sunset" Madison smiled and left my room.

"I should go, my dad needs help with the shop, but I'll be back" Chance left, shutting my bedroom door.

I looked at Darren, "Are you going to stay?"

"If you want me to" he shrugged.

"Yeah, I just want to sleep, I've been stressing about finals, thank God its over" I laid on the bed, covering myself with my comforter.

Darren laid next to me and stared.

"What?" I asked while my cheeks heated up.

"You're so pretty, like how did I not notice you before?" He propped his head up with his arm. His palm supporting his head by his temple.

I shrugged. This was so awkward.

"So, how many girls did you mess around with before, this happened?" I quietly asked. My curtains were still open so the light from outside was pouring in.

"Actually, I didnt mess around with a lot of girls, most of them were rumors"

"Wait... So you don't care?" I asked.

"I use to" he shrugged.

"So how many girls have you actually been in a relationship with?"

"This girl named Piper back in sophomore year, she was sweet but I messed it up"

"How?"

"I ended up getting with her best friend when we were both at a party and buzzed"

"That's low"

"Don't remind me" he groaned.

"So, if you could change-"

"I can't, what's done has been done"

"Where is she now?" I asked.

"Last time I knew, she was in New York for something"

I propped myself on my elbow, "What is it?" I asked.

He laughed, "She won a national title"

"A national title? So she's famous in a way"

"Yeah, I guess"

There was silence as we laid there.

"What was the national title?" I asked.

"Maisie?"

"Yeah?"

"Go to sleep" he chuckled.
