《Steal The Male Lead》4.9

"Where are we? Kim Jiyoung, you better have not led us to the middle of nowhere." A loud and obnoxious voice said.
Lee Shinwoo looked on, a sneer at his lips as his eyes narrowed down on the man taking, most likely Kim Jongsoo, Kim Jiyoung's half-brother.
Kim Jiyoung merely kept quiet at his brother's words, not even bothering to reply.
"Kim Jiyoung, where exactly are we?" Kang Suhyun asked, her hand holding tightly onto her husband, Kim Namchul's arm.
Kim Jiyoung looked at them with a raher complex look before replying, "I don't know."
"Didn't you lead us here? How can you not know?" Kang Suhyun asked, her eyes now glaring and pinching together.
"Aunt, we have an audience here. Let's leave the argument for later." Kim Jiyoung glanced at the two men ten meters in front of them whom weren't even bothering to hide.
(Kim Jiyoung, 25 years old)
Lee Shinwoo, with a smirk on his face was the first to talk. "Welcome, I'm assuming you're new here from the way you are....dressed." He looked at Kang Suhyun's dress with disgust in his eyes.
Lee Shinwoo looked towards Min Yongjoon as they both began walking towards the group. Min Yongjoon kept a smile on his face, trying not to make him look like a sketchy person.
The two were taller than normal and towered over the group as they stood, two meters away from them. Min Yongjoon smiled, a smile that looked happy at first glance but got complex, "I would say good luck for coming so far with the way you are dressed. It isn't often that we get people strolling in alive after wearing such...extravagant clothing and accessories."
Lee Shinwoo rolled his eyes at that. Even Min Yongjoon was already looking down on these people, that was suppose to be his role first. But, it did make sense once you noticed that Kang Suhyun was wearing a ripped up dress and heels with a full makeup look on and bracelets while she was at it.
Kim Jiyoung backed up a step, able to feel that the two people in front of them were strong. It was just the way they acted that made something feel off.
"And you are?" Kim Jongsoo asked, disgust on his face as he looked at Lee Shinwoo and spitefully spit on the floor, right next to Lee Shinwoo's shoes.
Lee Shinwoo looked on with amusement but Min Yongjoon was riled with that action. His smile gone, he stopped forward, almost like he was going to kill Kim Jongsoo but Lee Shinwoo stopped him with an arm on Min Yongjoon's.
"Well, what do we have here? A young boy who hasn't even grown hair and is acting all tough. If I throw you into the mobs of zombies, I wonder how long you'll last before you cry for mommy." Lee Shinwoo's smirk remained all the same but his eyes narrowed and his aura changed.

"Jongsoo, come here, honey." Kang Suhyun said once she noticed that the two men looked like they would easily be able to kill them without a struggle.
Kim Jongsoo lifted his mouth in anger, but still walked to his mom's side.
Kim Namchul looked on and with an apologetic smile, he said, "Sorry for the words my son has said. Please don't take offense to it, he is still young and with the zombies attacking, everyone has been under well stress."
Min Yongjoon curled his lips. His bright eyes and his easygoing manner was gone now. They had offended Lee Shinwoo and Min Yongjoon was not happy with that. "Stress? At least someone from your group is handling it well."
Kim Jiyoung looked on, not knowing why he had to be dragged in. "Who are you?" He asked since the attention was already on him.
Lee Shinwoo, with a grin said, "Think of us as the patrolling members for military base A."
Kim Jiyoung widened his eyes, "You guys are from military base A?"
Lee Shinwoo nodded his head, saying, "Yes, though if you want to go there, I can only say that the base has already reached it's capacity. If you go there, there isn't enough shelters now, you'll only be able to pitch up a tent and sleep on the ground."
It was only then that the group took a closer look at Lee Shinwoo and Min Yongjoon. Both of them were dressed neatly and still looked fresh. They didn't have a big group but they didn't even seem worried about any zombies attack and they definitely looked strong.
"Will you be able to take us there? We'll give you anything." Kang Suhyun was the first to ask, her eyes turning to look at them, hoping that they would see the look in her eyes.
Min Yongjoon turned his face away in disgust but Lee Shinwoo merely kept a smile on. "Alright then. Though, I expect everyone to put in some work on the way to the base."
Kim Jiyoung only nodded his head. "Understood."
With that, Lee Shinwoo turned around and began walking back to the base, a smile on his face as he looked forward. Min Yongjoon walked beside him but he still kept his guard up. He didn't trust any one them yet, not when they all looked suspicious, like they were going to kill in any moment.
The two of them were walking further ahead before Kim Jiyoung suddenly walked up to Lee Shinwoo's side.
"Uhm, if you don't mind, can I get your name? My name is Kim Jiyoung, 25 years old." Kim Jiyoung said, he didn't smile or frown, but he merely kept it to a conversation between business partners. He was ready to part whenever.

"Lee Shinwoo, his name's Min Yongjoon, a good friend of mine." Lee Shinwoo pointed his thumb towards Min Yongjoon, whose face was turning colder by the second. Just how jealous was that man...
Min Yongjoon didn't like how close Kim Jiyoung was getting to Lee Shinwoo. In fact, it tempted him to just get rid of Kim Jiyoung but he decided against it. Lee Shinwoo wouldn't just randomly take others in because he wasn't like that. There had to be a reason why he helped these people. Lee Shinwoo saving him was just because he didn't feel like watching them get killed.
"Nice to meet you. Excuse my...family. They have never really been the type to raise a hand to help others so they are use to acting like that." Kim Jiyoung looked back at Kim Jongsoo before turning back with exasperation.
Lee Shinwoo chuckled, a rather cold sound that sent chills down Kim Jiyoung's back. "Well, they better get use to this then. This is the apocalypse now, things aren't going to work in their favor."
Then, Lee Shinwoo elbowed Min Yongjoon's side and said, "Aren't you going to say anything at all?"
Min Yongjoon looked at Lee Shinwoo's raised brow and his smirk. He shook his head, "There's nothing I need to say, though?"
Lee Shinwoo rolled his eyes, "You just need to talk, handsome."
Min Yongjoon closed his eyes for a second at Lee Shinwoo's attack. He should be use to it by now. Lee Shinwoo did always like to say things that would fluster him, he liked to tease him in a way.

Min Yongjoon nodded his head, then finally talked to Kim Jiyoung, "Have you guys been traveling for a while now?"
Kim Jiyoung shook his head, "No, it's only been a day. We've mainly been trying to find the bases but we haven't seen one yet. It was thanks to you guys that we would be able to find one. Even though there isn't enough space, we just need a place to protect us from the zombies."
Lee Shinwoo nodded his head at that, biting his lips for a bit before he asked, "Then have you guys fought any zombies?"
Kim Jiyoung shook his head hard, "No, we were traveling in a bigger group before it had split so we never really had to fight zombies. It is hard?"
Min Yongjoon was the first to reply now, "It depends. It is hard at the beginning but afterwards, it gets easier."
"Kim Jiyoung, come here!" Kang Suhyun said from behind them.
Kim Jiyoung shook his head, "Sorry, they're probably going to complain about why they have to walk so try to block us out." And then he walked back to his family.
Lee Shinwoo turned to Min Yongjoon and asked, "So how do you like them?"
Min Yongjoon scrunched his face, "I don't." That was all he had to say.
Lee Shinwoo let out a tsk, "I'm mainly trying to get one person from that group. I think that if he develops an ability, he will be helpful in the further. The rest of them, I don't need them."
"So you're trying to get Kim Jiyoung on our side?" Min Yongjoon asked, his eyes turning towards the horizon.
"Something like that, I'm probably doing him a favor too. With a family like that, I would've jumped to abandon them in the first place. I have never been the nice type anyway." Lee Shinwoo lifted a hand to massage his neck as he spoke.
Min Yongjoon's attention was caught by the words Lee Shinwoo said. He turned to him with a beautiful smile don his face as he replied, "No, I think that you're nice. You're much more than that too, you're brave and powerful, you also stay true to your words."
Lee Shinwoo scoffed, "That was definitely not what my fans thought when my first scandal broke out. You should've seen how upset they were. They even staged a protest on the streets, which was hilarious when people began taking pictures of them and posting it online which got them bashed on in the end."
Min Yongjoon merely replied, as if he wasn't affected by any of the words Lee Shinwoo said, "That's because they don't know you well enough. Once they do, they'll realize that you're so much more than all of that."
"Sweet-talker now, aren't we?" Lee Shinwoo jokingly said, a grin on his face, the light bouncing off of his face in a way that made Min Yongjoon's heart jump.
(Make lead's love percentage is at 55%.)
"Maybe. If you like it I can do it more often?" Min Yongjoon didn't care about what other's would think. All he could think about was wanting to see that same expression on Lee Shinwoo's face for a lifetime. There was just something that made Min Yongjoon want to get closer to Lee Shinwoo and he wasn't going to say anything against that.
Lee Shinwoo raised a brow, as if he was daring him, "Alright then, you better do it more often then, my dearest love."
Min Yongjoon could feel his cheeks turning pink as Lee Shinwoo let out a loud laugh.
