Max didn't remember anything. All he remembered was feeling like he was going to die and at one point, he really did think he died for a moment. Although he knew that not everyone was kind, he still didn't think they would be so cruel as to threaten his sister. It wasn't just threatening, it was far worse. It was sexual harassment.

Max didn't know how Ruby forcefully smiled as if nothing happened but he wasn't going to let anyone do that to his older sister and get away with it. And so, his anger got to him and he punched that disgusting piece of human trash.

Max should've thought for a second about why Ruby wasn't doing anything but he couldn't control himself. One part of him knew what might happen if he did something but he wasn't going to let anyone touch his sister and think they could get away with that.

Max was already prepared when they got chased away. He knew already that the people they were with weren't going to act kindly towards them and Max was worried. The worry wasn't for him but for his sister.

Max thought that that would be it but he didn't think they would actually try to kill them. The only thing Max remembered was his cousin's shout and his sister's rushed cries. He remembered something shifting inside of him and he let it take over him. He felt the earth rumble underneath his feet and Max could almost feel an exhilarating feeling clearing through his body.

And, he heard the screams of the men who had tried to harm them. It was music to his ears. They were finally facing the one thing they had brought upon to others. And then, Max felt a stabbing pain in his back and knew that someone had sneaked through. He tossed the man onto the ground as the earth revolved around the man and took him underneath. Then, Max collapsed.

Max pretty much thought he was dead. But reality proved to be very different.

He woke up to the face of a beautiful man. A very foreign man whom he didn't know at all.

"Who are you?" Max asked as he narrowed his eyes, his head shifting to look at the space he was in. He didn't know where he was but he couldn't see Landon or Ruby and that bothered him.

Kim Jiyoung looked at Max whom had finally woke up. "You're awake. Just wait right there and don't move, I'll get Ruby to come."

Max stared at the man in front of him. He definitely did not know this man.

Kim Jiyoung could feel Max staring holes at him as he stood up and went to grab Ruby.

"Ruby, your brother's awake."

Ruby looked up as she heard that and she came sprinting towards Max, slamming the door wide open.

"Max!" Ruby launched herself to hug Max and Max had his arms ready.

Noticing that he didn't feel any pain, Max held Ruby as he asked, "What happened?"

Ruby moved back at once, a scowl on her face as she said, "You're lucky to even be alive! Do you know how worried I was when you collapsed after what you did? I thought I lost you like how we lost our parents."

Max could see the relieve in her eyes and merely smiled, "But I'm alright now." Then, noticing Kim Jiyoung whom was standing by the doors, Max asked, "So...where are we?"

Ruby grinned at that as she called out, "Jiyoung, come here."

Kim Jiyoung merely shook his head as he walked over.

Ruby tugged Kim Jiyoung's arm and looked at Max as she replied, "This is Kim Jiyoung, he helped wrap your wound in bandage and saved your life."

Max watched Kim Jiyoung's facial expression as Ruby excitedly ranted on. "Thank you for what you did."

Kim Jiyoung replied with, "It was nothing. I'm just glad you're alright after that." His eyes held curiosity as he watched how Ruby acted with Max. They were close, he could never act like that with his brother.

Then, Ruby looked out at the door before she remembered something and exclaimed, "Oh! I need to go help Aunt out. Jiyoung, can you talk about the things Max missed for him. Thank you." And with that, she fled the room.

As Max looked at Kim Jiyoung, there was an awkward silence before he asked, "You helped me. Was my wound serious?"

Kim Jiyoung nodded his head as he sat next on a chair next to Max. He didn't really seem to notice the weird atmosphere as he replied with, "It was. By the time you arrived, you had already lost a good amount of blood. There was also a large chance of getting an infection, especially since this is now the zombie apocalypse."

Max reached a hand to touch the bandage on his back, not understanding how he couldn't feel anything. "How come I can't feel the pain? I'm sure I wasn't out for that long."

Kim Jiyoung couldn't help but wrap a hand around his neck. He didn't know if he should say anything since Lee Shinwoo hadn't told him anything. Ruby had told him about what happened to Max so he knew that Max also had abilities. After pondering over it, he decided that it was better to tell Max since he already had an ability.

Kim Jiyoung looked at Max's face carefully before he began saying, "Do you remember what you did before you passed out?"

Max scrunched his brows as he replied, "Yeah. I felt the earth shake and this weird feeling inside of me."

"I'm not the best at explaining this so please bear with me. So with the zombie apocalypse and everything, humans have begun developing to fight against them. In some selective few, a handful of humans will have this ability, or also power they can use. I don't have any so I don't know how it feels to have them but I was told that you basically have this control over it and use it at your command. From what your sister told me, you most likely can control the earth." Kim Jiyoung could see Max's face changing with each of his word and he had to hold back a giggle.

"So I basically have this superpower and I can use it whenever I want?" Max asked, a look of confusion on his face.

Kim Jiyoung nodded his head, "Yep. You can also level up your power and become even stronger by consuming a zombie's core."

That sentence just completely threw Max off the grid. "I can level up by consuming a zombie?"

Kim Jiyoung wasn't expecting that sentence and he could barely hold back his laugh, especially as he looked at Max's face that was filled with shock and disgust. "Not consuming a zombie. Some zombies had this red looking pearl at the back of their necks and you can level up by consuming that. It doesn't do you any harm if you were wondering."

Max held his chin in wonder. Then again, he had watched some zombie movies about this too so it didn't seem weird once you thought about it. But he still wanted to know who figured all of this out. "Who figured out all these things?"

Kim Jiyoung merely smiled as he replied, "From my friend, Lee Shinwoo."

Lee Shinwoo. Max felt like he could remember that name but it was only faintly. And then he remembered. "Lee Shinwoo, the actor that dominated the acting world!?"

Kim Jiyoung nodded his head. "Yep, but if you were thinking about chasing him or anything, he has a boyfriend."

Max began shaking his head at that, rather quickly to say. "No, I don't like him in that way. I just admire him. He was basically the biggest star ever and my dream was to become like him."

"You were an actor?" Kim Jiyoung asked. And then he noticed how Max's face lighted up with that question.

"I was. I just started but I had a couple supporting roles in a few different dramas and movies." Max shyly said as he scratched his head.

"What movies did you star in?" Kim Jiyoung was interested now.

"Hmmm, I starred in A Round Of Eclipse, Second Chances, Once Again, The War Of Time, Mother, and Hidden Secret."

Kim Jiyoung opened his eyes wide. "Second Chances! You played Park Daniel, didn't you?"

Max nodded his head, "Yep, Second Chances was my very first drama that boosted my career."

"I loved the show, it was so amazing and I loved the emotions you put in your character."

Ruby stood outside of the door, her head peeking in without anyone noticing as Kim Jiyoung and Max rambled on. With a silly smiled, she walked away. Her plan was working.

Lee Shinwoo held onto Min Yongjoon's hand even as he tried to move away. "Are you trying to run away?" He asked as he raised his brow.

Min Yongjoon hid his blush as he replied, "We're in front of your parents."

Lee Shinwoo stared at Shin Hana and Lee Hwangyang and merely looked back at Min Yongjoon with a smirk as he said. "That's alright, they know we're together. Are you acting all shy now?" He purposely moved closer to Min Yongjoon whom leaned his body away. "You weren't acting this shy when you..." Lee Shinwoo whispered into Min Yongjoon's ear.

Min Yongjoon's face turned a vivid red with Lee Shinwoo's words.

And then, a youthful voice snapped them from their public display of affection. "Mom, brother's acting weird!" Ji Soyu complained.

Shin Hana snapped back to looked at Lee Shinwoo and noticed Min Yongjoon's blushing face. With a motherly smile on, she scolded Lee Shinwoo. "Lee Shinwoo, stop bothering Yongjoon."

Lee Shinwoo looked away, evading Shin Hana's eyes as he replied. "I'm not bothering him, I'm showing him how much I love him."

Min Yongjoon couldn't bear it anymore and used his hands to hide his blushing face. Even as he smiled so bright, he couldn't control his beating heart.

Lee Shinwoo saw what Min Yongjoon did and couldn't help but laugh. "It's alright, my parents know I love you so you don't have to hide."

But that made Min Yongjoon hide even more as he heard Lee Shinwoo laugh.

Lee Shinwoo couldn't control his laugh at Min Yongjoon. He never really noticed how cute Min Yongjoon could act.

"Damn, you're just so cute." Lee Shinwoo whispered as he hugged Min Yongjoon whom finally revealed his face with a shy smile.

Then, Lee Shinwoo kissed Min Yongjoon on the forehead as Ji Soyu let out a small noise of disgust.

"Eww, brother, not in front of me!"
