As Tendou Yagami watched Narisa Zeno walk away from him, his eyes continued to follow him. When he finally was out of his view, Tendou Yagami raised a hand to cover his heart, eyes in confusion. What was that? His heart had skipped a beat. Never before has that happened. What was happening to him?

Tendou Yagami was haughty and cruel, his smile even worse than the devil's. Many feared him, many looked at him in awe, but the one thing that was clear was that no one dared to bother him. In this school, he may not have been involved with any gang but he stood at the top as a sole person.

He had never gotten involved with the gangs unless they pulled him in. He had always rejected any offer but he suddenly couldn't do anything in front of Narisa Zeno's eyes. Because Tendou Yagami discovered something from deep within them, something that was suppose to be hidden but he couldn't hide it fully. Love. Deep love. And Tendou Yagami didn't understand, who was that love directed at?

As he stood, covered by the shadow of the tree, a loud bell was heard throughout the campus. Snapping from his daze, Tendou Yagami began walking towards his class, his heart left in turmoil. He calmed himself. After all, he would definitely meet Narisa Zeno again no matter what.

When Narisa Zeno away, he knew that Tendou Yagami was confused, he could hear the noise.

Narisa Zeno softly smiled to himself. Now he knew that Tendou Yagami was beginning to have the same feelings as he did in the last world. Although it was a slow start, they had more time to be together. This time, Narisa Zeno would not let anything happen to him. If it did, at least he would be by that man no matter what now.

As he made his way back to his first class, Seri Akita was already seated inside.

"You took your time," Seru Akita mumbled as he raised his brow, watching as Narisa Zeno came in and took the seat next to him.

"He hasn't agreed, but he said to give him more time to think about it." Narisa Zeno said as he sat down, taking out his books and such.

Seru Akita's eyes widened in surprise, slapping his hand on the desk hard enough that a few people turned to look at him before looking away. "He didn't refuse?!"

"But he also didn't agree," Added Narisa Zeno as he turned to Seru Akita.

"But he didn't refuse. Do you know how amazing that is just alone? Anyone who has ever tried to make an offer to Yagami, he refused it outright without any hesitation. Hina, Karma, even Kaneki had tried their offers but were outright rejected. I still remember how pissed Kaneki was after that but he couldn't do anything because it was Tendou Yagami." Pausing in his sentence, Seru Akita leaned towards Narisa Zeno. "You know, this means that there's a large chance he may be joining Lucifer."

Narisa Zeno merely blinked as he replied, "That would be for the best then. The other gangs are already starting to back out of their words. I estimate that it won't be long until one of them tries to give another offer out to Tsukki Ren. If he joins in, the other gangs may be more attentive towards their actions."

Seru Akita couldn't help but let out an exaggerated laugh. "Yeah right, we all know that Kaneki wouldn't even think that. He's the little devil, I don't understand how he could come from a normal household when he's such a pain in the ass. I still remember that time he sucker-punched me in the face because I called him short. That bruise lasted a week before it faded."

"Kaneki has always been like that, even when he first began attending this school, his temper was short. It may have to do with his own family at home, but he uses this place to vent his frustration and anger." Narisa Zeno kept an eye out for anyone who may be listening in on their conversation and finding out a girl that kept looking back at them, he looked at her and she looked away in fear.

"Zeno, why did you even attend this school? Boss was going to send you to the most prestigious school in the country but you refused his offer and came here. Although Takimura isn't bad and can be considered a good school, the water is too muddy." Seru Akita asked, watching as Narisa Zeno turned back to him.

Narisa Zeno looked at Seru Akita before turning back and fiddling with his books and pens. "Who knows? I guess I was preparing myself in this school first before I took over the business." And then, just as he stared at the doors, a surprising figure walked in and he couldn't help but smile.

Tendou Yagami walked into the room. He had gotten a lecture from his father about lazing around in the second year classes. Tendou Yagami already knew everything the second year students were learning and it wasn't anything important so he had asked his father if he could skip the grade because frankly, he didn't like anyone in the second year.

After signing many other types of forms, he was able to skip the grade that had already begun half way. Tendou Yagami didn't worry because he had already studied what the third year students were learning and had already caught up. The teachers also agreed to fit him into their classes after seeing his exams and tests.

What he didn't expect was to find Narisa Zeno and Seru Akita in the room too. With eyebrow furrowing, he hesitantly picked a seat that was next to the window. Not too far away from Narisa Zeno but also not too close.

(Fei Shang, Tendou Yagami wasn't suppose to skip a grade. Has the plot already begun changing before I was here?)

[Host, the truth is, Zhu Longwang's soul has been inside of Tendou Yagami for a longer time than normal compared to the other worlds. The plot has already begun changing a few months prior to you taking over the body.]

Narisa Zeno glanced at Tendou Yagami.

(I see. And what about Tsukki Ren?)

[His side is the same as normal. Though the plot has changed a bit with your interference, his story will follow through normally, such as his classes. Although there will still be people bothering him, they won't be able to do much.]

(Alright, that will do for now. And Fei Shang, is there anything you could tell me? Such as how you were able to do this, or why you are doing this for me?)

Fei Shang let a moment of silence come in between them before he finally replied.

[Host, I am merely repaying my debt to you. You...are not as cruel as how others depict you to be. I can't tell you much now but I'll try my best to give out information.]

With that, Narisa Zeno could tell that Fei Shang had cut off the connection. He didn't let his emotions escape him even as he continued thinking.

Seri Akita looked at Tendou Yagami. "Did he skip a grade?"

Narisa Zeno looked at Tendou Yagami whom merely stared outside the window, minding his own business.

"Looks like it, although it seems rather hasty as half of the year has already passed." Narisa Zeno commented as he watched Tendou Yagami turn to him and then smiled back at him. Tendou Yagami nodded his head and resumed to look out the window.

Seru Akita watched their interaction, somehow feeling that something was off even though he couldn't put his hand on what it was exactly.

Just as he was about to ask, the teacher walked into the room and everyone quieted down. Narisa Zeno turned his attention to the old man in front of him.

"Everyone, today is a rather special case. Instead of the normal classes that we will take, the principal has decided to invite everyone to attend the academy's yearly duel against Shinaku. Though we usually invite only the fourth year students, the principal has extended the invitation to all the students at Takimura."

The students in the room began their comments, voices lingered in the room, everyone utterly confused.

The yearly duel was designed as a fun competition in the eyes of the government, but those who attends Takimura and Shinaku knew that it was nothing like that. The duel was basically a fight, a brawl between students.

But no one said anything because the situation never got too deadly nor did they care about who got injured. Attending this school meant that many were involved in the darker side of the world or they just liked breaking the laws without getting caught. Plus, some people from the government even secretly approved of it.

Tendou Yagami couldn't help but look at Narisa Zeno once he heard about that. Narisa Zeno also looked at him, and smiled, a beautiful smiled that somehow made Tendou Yagami jump and turn his head.

Seriously, what was going on with his heart? It was racing....

"Forgive me, this is something I have to do, Baicheng. Thank you for your feelings, but I cannot return them."

He fell. His body fell in the air, his eyes wide with shock, and most of all, betrayal. A knife was stabbed unto his heart, a heart that had once beat for one man.

What hurts most was that he had blindly trusted another person even after he had been betrayed so many times. How foolish of him to think that someone he thought he knew would love him?

His uncles, his aunts, his cousins, his closest friends, even they had betrayed him when he had grew up surrounded by them.

How dumb of him to think that someone he knew for less than three years could actually love him?

His body slammed onto the ground, he could feel his bones shattering and breaking from the impact of the fall. He spat out blood, his eyes barely open.

He was dying...

With shaking hands, he reached for the knife imbedded into him and pulled it out, blood spilling from it.

Love, huh?

What a joke...in the end, love was useless.

It was just a game, a game to see who would be hurt the most in the end, to see who would quit it and give up.

It was a foolish game that he was tricked into playing.

He smirked, even as blood spilled from the side of his mouth and his breath grew weaker.

Love was just too cruel...and now hatred was all that lingered.

Without love, he would be stronger. Without love, he wouldn't be hurt. Without love, he would never be betrayed again.

His red eyes glared, his face turned paler.

He hated love...hated how easily it could be betrayed just like how he had been.

He hated that man, how he had so easily worked his way into his heart and then left him there to bleed and die.

He choked on the blood piling up in his mouth as it continued to spill from the side of his lips. His eyes slowly closed, his chest growing weaker, his heart finally failing even as he wanted so much, a revenge to avenge him and his parents.

From the corners of his eyes he could see a gold light, but he was unable to see anything else as his eyes closed against his will.

He wanted another chance to avenge his parents, he wanted destruction on the whole world. Because he was already evil...

It was a pity he could do nothing to avenge his loving parents whom died just like that.

Mother and father, I'm coming...

His heart stopped, unknown about what was happening to the world around him, unknown of the man whom had appeared next to his side.

Was everything really in black and white? This world, how cruel was it...

But, he has already been destroyed. Even though he opened his eyes once more to the world, his heart was long dead. And, the world could only watch as he rose, a king of terror who no longer had mercy to anyone.

If something, if anything had change even just a little, the world would've been able to save itself from him.

For now, he walks a lonely path, a path full of thorns and needles. From now on, he will fully destroy all who opposes him. Alone once more, with only one man by his side until the end.
