Wen Zhuhei stood outside of Chen Shujin's door, but he didn't do anything. He stood there for a minute before he turned away, walking down the stairs to find Lu Hongxue. Passing by, Xi Sufei bowed as Wen Zhuhei walked by him.
Wen Zhuhei stopped, a thought running through his mind as his finger touched the ring on his hand. Finally, he looked back towards Xi Sufei as he walked over and said, "Sufei."
"Yes, Young Master?" Xi Sufei looked up and awaited his order.
Wen Zhuhei stared into Xi Sufei's eyes, as his eyes glossed over before it returned to normal.
Xi Sufei blinked, awaiting Wen Zhuhei's words.
"Who is Li Yinlui?" Wen Zhuhei asked, rubbing his black ring.
"That," Xi Sufei hesitated for a second but as he glanced into Wen Zhuhei's eyes, his hesitation collapsed. "Li Yinlui is someone His Majesty had once taught. Before His Majesty entered his slumber, he had wanted Li Yinlui to become the successor. But, Li Yinlui had refused to become the next successor as he wanted to enter the human cities."
Hearing this, there was a flicker of emotion running through Wen Zhuhei's eyes, but he didn't say anything else after this. He merely smiled gently as he told Xi Sufei, "Alright, you may leave now."
Xi Sufei nodded his head, "Yes, Young Master."
Once Xi Sufei began walking away, Wen Zhuhei took a deep breath as he also turned away, walking down the stairs to search for Lu Hongxue.
Why was he even jealous? Obviously, he had no right to be so when Li Yinlui had been by Chen Shujin's side longer than he had. Wen Zhuhei knew that he needed to rein in his emotions because now wasn't the time to be focusing on himself.
Chen Shujin had been alive for 5,000 years, of course he would have more ties with other people. Wen Zhuhei had been by Chen Shujin's side for only 5 years.
But still, Wen Zhuhei was a little bit jealous even though he knew that it was over something so small. Even so, on his face, a small smile lingered, disguising his thoughts and emotions.
Now wasn't the time yet, he needed to wait.
Li Yinlui sat inside of the pivate jet. Next to him, Shu Hezhen was looking over some papers for the company.
The matters about the vampire hunter had already been dealt with, now he simply had to inform these things to Chen Shujin. Although Li Yinlui was a bit amused by what the humans were trying to do, he was sure that at this point, Ran Shifei would've already broken into their headquarters.
Shu Hezhen turned to look at Li Yinlui, "You already have everything ready to meet His Majesty, right?"
"Everything is already prepared. I've also been getting updates from Lord Xueyi about His Majesty and the Young Master. I've also prepared the party that will be held at the company and have already sent out invitations. Once His Majesty arrives, there will most likely be reporters already gathered." Li Yinlui mindlessly ran through everything he had gotten prepared.
Shu Hezhen didn't look up once as he continued to sign the papers, looking over them to see which ones would make a profit and which ones he could just throw away.
"I'm actually surprised that His Majesty chose another successor. I would've thought that since he had already chosen you before, he would've offered the position to you again." Shu Hezhen mumbled as he signed a paper after reading through it.

Li Yinlui didn't make any reaction to this. It wasn't like this was the first time he had heard this. But, he also knew that the only reason why Chen Shujin offered the position to him was because he wasn't sure if the slumber would turn into eternal slumber.
After all, Chen Shujin had taught a few things to him but Li Yinlui had long understood that he wasn't fit to lead a whole race. Chen Shujin had struck fear into everyone, no one would dare to go against him but Li Yinlui didn't have much to himself.
In fact, he believed that Wen Zhuhei was fit to be the successor. Although the young vampire wasn't as old as everyone else, and even though he was a half-blood, if he was able to get Chen Shujin's approval, that was good enough.
"I think that His Majesty's decision was a good one. I wasn't fit to lead a whole race, much less balance so many different issues into my hand. His Majesty was fully capable of doing that but I wouldn't have been able to. The Young Master was able to get all the nobles approval, that should already be good enough." Li Yinlui replied after a few minutes had already passed.
Just then, a voice was heard. Everyone in the jet was a vampire, hence, many inconveniences weren't there.
"We will be arriving in five minutes."
Chen Shujin had a Wen Zhuhei following after him like he was a lost child. Lu Hongxue had also tagged along, but Chen Xueyi had to stay in cases that if any matters occurred, he had to deal with it. Basically, Chen Shujin needed someone to deal with the stuff he did because he would be busy teaching Wen Zhuhei how rich people acted like in their country.
"Your Majesty, Hezhen said that they will be arriving shortly." Lu Hongxue brought up as she stood behind them.
Chen Shujin nodded his head at that. Frankly, Li Yinlui was also keeping him updated using telepathy. He was a bit surprised that the humans were doing such a stupid thing, but it was humans. He would've expected them to do something stupid nonetheless.
Wen Zhuhei stood by Chen Shujin, calming himself. He knew that Chen Shujin had everything prepared but, he had never really met a human before. Although all the vampires learnt about humans and were caught up with all human technologies and such, he had ever met them face to face.
Wen Zhuhei was sure that no human would act like they showed in all those movies and such. Thinking this, he turned up to look at Chen Shujin, "Will you also be busy when we enter Jiibeng?" He hoped not.
Chen Shujin thought about this but then shook his head. "I shouldn't be. I may have some matters to take over but they won't take long. My goal is to spend some time with you and get you used to the humans. They act quite differently from us."
As Wen Zhuhei asked more questions, they had already arrived at the landing area for the jet. When they had arrived, the jet was already there. Wen Zhuhei glanced at the jet as two men soon showed up.
Walking out of the jet, Shu Hezhen had his artifact still in his ear. He had a grin on his face as he walked towards Chen Shujin. Li Yinlui followed, fixing his glasses and fixing his tie.
"Your Majesty," Shu Hezhen greeted Chen Shujin with a grin before he turned to Wen Zhuhei, "Greeting Young Master, my name is Shu Hezhen, one of His Majesty's close aid."

Chen Shujin glanced at Shu Hezhen with a bit of visible annoyance in his eyes, "Don't mess around, Hezhen."
As Shu Hezhen heard this, he rolled his eyes before he watched Li Yinlui step up.
"Greeting Young Master, and Your Majesty. Everything has been prepared according to your words. Lu Hongxue, I trust that you have been well during this time?" Li Yinlui's face was stoic but as he turned to Lu Hongxue, there was a very light smile on his face.
Lu Hongxue smiled at this, "YInlui, it's been hundreds of years since you moved to the human's cities. I've been great during this time."
Wen Zhuhei didn't show anything on his face, but now, he really knew that Xi Sufei's words were real. It seems like this was Li Yinlui, the vampire who was supposed to be in his position. He clenched his hand tighter unconsciously.
"Let's go in first, you have some incidents you need to tell me about." Chen Shujin knew that the past soul was close to Li Yinlui, but it also wasn't overly close. But, since he knew Wen Zhuhei's character, he was sure that the boy had some misunderstandings. He was going to see what Wen Zhuhei would do first before he did anything in turn.
"Of course, let's go in then." Li Yinlui nodded his head as he watched them go in first. Shu Hezhen stood by his side for a second.
"The Young Master holds up to his name, he is very beautiful. But, it seems like he is wary of us too." Shu Hezhen grinned as his fangs showed. "It looks like His Majesty already moved on."
Li Yinlui suddenly turned to Shu Hezhen at this, his eyes narrowing with a glare. "Don't say such things like that, Hezhen. His Majesty has never have such feelings towards me or anyone."
"If you say so..." Shu Hezhen shrugged his shoulders as he also began walking into the jet without another word.
Chen Shujin kept note of Shu Hezhen's words. He had heard everything, but it wasn't like he was mad. But, he did know that Wen Zhuhei was not going to be happy with this. Well, he had been anticipating this for a while. Although Chen Shujin was close to Li Yinlui, the past soul had no such thoughts about him. Shu Hezhen was simply jesting.
[Male lead's love percentage dropped by 2%, back to 82%.]
Wen Zhuhei clenched his hand tightly as he heard these words. He knew that were meant to try and probe him, he knew that it may have all just been a lie, but he was still angry. His eyes glanced to Chen Shujin who turned to look at Li Yinlui as he walked in.
He didn't know why, but he felt a bit of pain from this. What if Chen Shujin had once loved Li Yinlui? Did that mean that he was simply a copy of Li Yinlui? Was that why Chen Shujin seemed so close to Li Yinlui?
Wen Zhuhei fought to keep his thoughts from straying away as he kept a gentle smile on his face. He needed to be patient. He needed to be calm for Chen Shujin had never said such things.
"Yinlui, begin." Chen Shujin offhandedly said as he leaned back into the seat, putting on his belt as the jet began to take flight.
Li Yinlui sat across from Chen Shujin and Wen Zhuhei with Shu Hezhen next to him. When he heard this question, he reached for his glasses, clicking on the artifact.
'Shujin, should I speak to you like this or do you want the Young Master to hear?'
Upon getting this, Chen Shujin raised a brow, then simply left it at, "Just say it, there's no need to keep it a secret."
Wen Zhuhei felt a bit confused when Chen Shujin said this, but then it clicked that Li Yinlui must've had an artifact and had used it. His fingers rubbed his ring as he thought about this. It seems like he wasn't the only who got an artifact from Chen Shujin.
Lu Hongxue could feel the hidden tension amongst them all and decided to go hang out with the vampires in the waiting room since she knew some of them. Excusing herself, she looked back at Wen Zhuhei. Since being by his side when he was simply a small and young boy, today was the first time she had seen him not want to speak at all.
Li Yinlui could feel Chen Shujin's sharp eyes and even Wen Zhuhei's sight that the boy was trying to hide. He turned to Shu Hezhen and Shu Hezhen simply reached for a file on the table and handed it to Chen Shujin.
"Since this case was found out just recently, we weren't able to get much information on it. Yinlui should have told you the information that we were able to get our hands on. There are some pictures in the folder and also some key details about these human vampires that the humans have named, 'Faker'." Shu Hezhen seemed more professional this time as he watched Chen Shujin open the folder and quickly look over it before handing the folder for Wen Zhuhei to look at it.
Wen Zhuhei hadn't heard about this from Chen Shujin yet, this was the first time he had heard about it. He didn't say anything, keeping a light smile as he accepted the folder before it returned to normal as he looked over the folder, wrinkling his brows.
"We've already resolve most of the conflicts, and it seems that even the hunter's headquarters know that they have failed so they won't try again. They don't who their lost Faker was nor where the Faker was since Yinlui had already destroyed it." Shu Hezhen helped Li Yinlui explain.
Chen Shujin turned to Wen Zhuhei, "Any thoughts?"
Wen Zhuhei handed the folder back to Shu Hezhen as he shook his head, "It seems like with this failure, the hunters won't try anything for the time being."
Then, Chen Shujin turned back to Li Yinlui and asked, "What about the company?"
"Everything has been arranged like what you wanted. It won't take long before we arrive. Your Majesty, we will excuse ourselves first." Li Yinlui said as he suddenly felt a slight animosity in the area. Getting up, Shu Hezhen also got the hint.
"We will be heading to the other room, Your Majesty." Shu Hezhen helped explained.
The two soon walked away as Wen Zhuhei snuck a look towards Chen Shujin and turned away. He needed to rein in his emotions... he was sure that Li Yinlui had spotted something weird.

The White Rabbit: Book 2
In the Urillian Empire, the Empress Xandra rules three-quarters of the planet Xren from her home in the capital of the Earth Continent. Both the fire and water peoples have fallen under her might after a series of wars stretching back three centuries. Earth elves, under Xandra's rule, have spread throughout the planet and established colonies, and are, by all accounts, enjoying what seems to be a prosperous and happy existence. But not everyone in Uril is happy. The holy books speak of elves as the Chosen People of Thesis, tasked with guiding and protecting the lower races. For some people, this scripture has been interpreted to designate their life as one on the lowest rungs of society. Humans have been reduced to a slave class, and serve their elven masters under Xandra's rule, kept at bay by the constant fear of the dreaded Emerald Knight, and their own perceived weakness. Humans do not lead long lives, nor do they possess the wisdom, power, or magical acumen of their elven masters. But there is hope. A group of people have banded together to fight against Xandra, her Knight, and her empire. They call themselves the "Knights of Order" united under the principle idea that Xandra's reign has brought chaos unto Xren, and they wish to restore order. These Knights are led by a man named Xaxac Brigaddon, spoken of as a legend. They say that when the moons are full, some humans transform into powerful beasts. They say that Xaxac is the most powerful warrior on Xren, that in his youth he was enslaved and forced to fight other humans to the death in a bloodsport called "cage fighting", that he could not be touched and held the world championship title for three years running until he faked his own death and escaped his master to join the resistance. They say that he has friends in high places- noblemen, pirates, and the devil himself. They say that if you can find him, he can ferry you to freedom in places where the Earth Elves fear to tread. They say that he is immune to magical attack, and his eyes shine like the silver moon. They say that he is descended from Quizlivian Brigaddon, one of the humans who helped the demon Magnus escape a god. They say that if you want to walk the Path of Order, you should follow the White Rabbit.Come and watch the transformation from human boy to Knight of Order: The life and times of Xaxac OfAgalon OfLangil Brigaddon. Xaxac's origins are based on true events, and they are presented realisitcally; this includes but is not limited to: isolation, gaslighting, emotional and sexual abuse, and grooming tactics.
