《Steal The Male Lead》159

In the cave, Fei Qianchi's Qi flow suddenly became chaotic. His brows furrowed, lips taunt as he tried to suppress the demons in his heart. But the Qi around him got even more chaotic, flowing like madly. Beads of sweat began to appear on his forehead, the voice in his head getting even more intense.
"Don't you want to seek this darkness in you? Why not just accept it? You will become even more powerful, the world will be in your hands. Just this one choice will bring you everything you've ever wanted."
"Son of a whor*e!"
"He is a monster..."
"With a prostitute as his mother, it's no wonder why he looks like that. Tsk, is he trying to seduce us?"
"Psh! As if! What brother? In my eyes, you are even more worthless than my slaves! That mother of yours, all she has is her face. If not for that, my father wouldn't have even thought about touching her!"
As the voices in Fei Qianchi's head got even more intense, it became harder to suppress the feeling in his heart that became wild. His Qi was becoming too chaotic, wrecking his body, and in turn, causing harm to his internal body.
Fei Qianchi suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood, even as his eyes remained closed. His face grew paler as he suddenly opened his eyes. He couldn't see it, but he knew, his eyes were becoming a tint of black as the demonic energy inside of him threatened to take over.
Fei Qianchi moved, stuffing pills into his mouth. Then withdrawing his hand, he made a seal and jabbed his heart, to which he spat out more blood in turn. He closed his eyes tightly, biting his lips, his face becoming even more pale.
"Stop pretending to be righteous! We all know how cruel you are."
Flashing before his eyes, the same ridicules of the past returned. The stares, the fingers that pointed at him, Fei Qianchi saw himself walking through it all once again. As his body walked forward, the figure of his mother stepped in front of him. Yet, upon her kind face, Chan Lihua's anger was visible.
"Why didn't you protect me?! I did everything to save you yet you couldn't even do anything for me!"
Fei Qianchi stepped back, his body trapped in a mirage created by his own internal demons. He lifted his hands, not knowing what to do in front of Chan Lihua. No... this was all fake! None of it was real.
Yet, Fei Qianchi was still trapped by himself.
Chan Lihua grabbed onto him, her face twisting in anger. "My son! I gave birth to you, so why did you let me die just like that?"
Fei Qianchi was becoming more confused. He could feel his Qi becoming more chaotic as he was trapped within this mirage.
"I..."
Fei Qianchi couldn't say anything. Staring at the face of his beloved mother, his heart was running wild.
Fei Qianchi felt his Qi coursing in flames inside his body, causing him internal injuries as he lingered within this illusion.
Just then, a bright light shone, breaking away the mirage. Fei Qianchi felt his body fall, the mirage breaking away like shattered glass. Fei Qianchi watched as Chan Lihua's face cracked and broke away.
"Didn't you say that you would find me? I am still waiting."
Fei Qianchi felt a warm pair of hands grab him, forcing his mouth open as pills were stuffed in. There was a blurry face in front of him, yet he was unable to focus on the man.

At once, Fei Qianchi knew who this man was... but even as he wanted to keep his eyes open, the exhaustion of his Qi forced his eyes to close. The faint figure before him got even more blurry, appearing like a shadow.
Fei Qianchi felt something soft touch the space underneath his right eye, a gentle touch as a wave of Qi ran through his veins. Fei Qianchi felt a burst of Qi enter, calming and fixing his internal injuries. And then, his eyes closed.
When Fei Qianchi woke up, the man was already gone. Having no idea who had helped him, Fei Qianchi was left without a clue. He could only continue to work hard on his cultivation.
-
Fei Qianchi's eyes flickered upon, blue eyes piercing. A strong wave of Qi bursted from him as he moved, his body shifting as the form he held broke, the thick Qi around him dispersing.
"This time, 80 years have passed. You have already climbed up to the first layer of Void Stage."
A husky voice echoed in his ears as Fei Qianchi paid it no attention. "It was slower than I expected."
He was the same as always, with blue piercing eyes and long white hair. Yet, under his right eye, a black mark was seen. Smiling softly, Fei Qianchi touched the mark on his face.
He... had experienced a Qi Deviation in this place. But, someone had helped him. Just like before, Fei Qianchi knew that it was the same person who had helped him through this crisis. After the man left, a black mark appeared under his right eye, as if sealing his powers so that he wouldn't suffer through internal demons.
Fei Qianchi took a deep breath, patting his robe. There was a bright smile on his face as he looked around, his eyes roaming the cave. Unfortunately, the man had left before Fei Qianchi was able to see him. But still, just the fact that the man who had saved him was still helping him, it made him feel at peace.
"Fei Qianchi, are you sure you don't want to become a demonic cultivator? I can assure you that once you do, your power will progress even faster."
These words were normal to Fei Qianchi now. It was one of the reasons why he had suffered through a Qi Deviation. The smile on his face vanished, eyes growing a bit stern. "My answer will always be the same." After this, Fei Qianchi no longer spoke, his hands moving quickly, muttering a spell under his breath.
"Sealing me back up so soon? I thought you had grown to like me."
The voice was provoking him, but Fei Qianchi didn't care as he continued to mutter the spell under his breath.
"You know, that-"
The voice was cut off as Fei Qianchi opened his eyes, showing a rare cold look in them. Now that the voice was gone, Fei Qianchi felt as if a boulder was lifted from him.
Fei Qianchi closed his eyes, muttering a spell as he waved his sleeves, his body disappearing.
-
Fei Qianchi appeared, rain showering down on him. As he looked around, he realized that he had accidentally arrived at the wrong place. Just as he was going to chant another spell, a carriage stopped.
A man with purple eyes peeked out. "My name is Zhu Longwang, the Lord of Suzhou's younger brother. If you don't mind, you can step into my carriage to hide from the rain."
Fei Qianchi, who heard this, shook his head. "Thank you for the offer, unfortunately, I have somewhere to arrive to in a hurry."

Zhu Longwang nodded his head, closing the curtain as the carriage drove on.
Fei Qianchi closed his eyes, muttering another spell.
As Fei Qianchi opened his eyes once more, he stood before the familiar gates of Shuihua Peak. It was quiet and tranquil, no noise could be heard. He wasn't flustered as he reached for the pendant, sticking it onto the gate as it opened wide.
Fei Qianchi looked around, eyes roaming as he stepped into the silent courtyard. His brows were slightly furrowed but he kept his heart calm. Though he was already 146 years old now, his appearance remained the same, his body tall and sturdy.
Fei Qianchi could feel a few presences, hence, he wasn't worried. The sound of a sword swinging in the air could be heard, a burst of Qi from within a courtyard.
As Fei Qianchi silently stepped forward, he saw a familiar figure practicing the sword, his body moving swiftly in the air, hair flying. Fei Qianchi smiled, looking at this figure. Fei Shang still remained the same. If anything, it seemed that his temperament had matured now.
Fei Qianchi didn't say anything, watching as Fei Shang diligently swung his sword. 80 years had passed, Fei Shang was already at the first layer of Soul Transformation.
"Fei Shang." Fei Qianchi finally called out, a smile upon his lips as he watched Fei Shang stop, freezing as his sword trembled.
Fei Shang turned back, looking at Fei Qianchi with a light smile. "Brother, you are finally back."
Fei Qianchi was dressed in a white robe, his white hair flowing free. His aura was the same, even more powerful. Under his right eye, a black mark now resided, bringing out the colors of his eyes.
Fei Qianchi could tell that Fei Shang was a bit speechless, even shocked. But still, Fei Qianchi simply stood in place as the younger male looked at him carefully.
"How have you been?" Fei Qianchi's voice was very charming. It was a low voice, but not to overly low that it seemed cold. It was a baritone voice. Now that he had grown up, his features were still as heavenly as before, but there was also a strong accent of masculinity within them.
"I... I have been the same as always. Brother, you have become even stronger." A bright smile broke out on Fei Shang's face, making the colder male look young and vigorous.
Fei Qianchi chuckled, "It seems like 80 years gave you time to sculpt your temperament." Then, he walked closer, his hand patting Fei Shang's head. Even though he knew that Fei Shang was no longer the small child from back then, in his eyes, the boy would always remain like so in front of him.
Fei Shang looked up at Fei Qianchi, there was a light in his eyes that was clearly noticed by Fei Qianchi. "Because you weren't here, there were some things that I had to pick up."
Hearing this, Fei Qianchi tilted his head. Things he had to pick up? Well, knowing Tian Sichan, the man would have had many things he needed Fei Shang to do.
A warm feeling spread in his heart. Fei Qianchi knew that 80 years had passed, but in all honesty, it felt like nothing. In fact, the years had merely passed by and Fei Qianchi didn't feel as if anything had changed.
"Did you miss me?" There was a playful light in Fei Qianchi's eyes as he asked this, a grin on his face. His blue eyes twinkled, reflected in Fei Shang's brown pupils.
Fei Shang lifted a brow at Fei Qianchi's question. "A little. But, I also began to get busy, working hard on my own cultivation. I got to know some of the disciples here and got acquainted to the elder brothers and sisters here. I also had some occasional meetings with Immortal Tian, but those weren't very often."
Fei Shang paused before he then asked, "After this, do you plan to be gone even longer than this?"
Hearing this, Fei Qianchi shook his head gently. There was a glimmer in his eyes as he gently murmured, "No, from now on, I intend to make it as short as possible. If I ever enter seclusion again, I plan to make it under ten years. After all, I've missed a lot of chances to stay here by your side."
"Brother, have I ever told you how much I owe you for everything that you've done for me?" Fei Shang's voice was a bit softer as he said this.
Fei Qianchi looked at Fei Shang who had turned to look towards the bamboo forest. Unable to see his eyes, Fei Qianchi didn't know why he had suddenly spoke about this. Truthfully, saving Fei Shang was a spur of the moment. But, Fei Qianchi wouldn't have changed a thing. Having Fei Shang by his side felt comforting, and Fei Qianchi found a peace within that.
"Yes, many times already. But, truthfully, I believe that without you, maybe life would be very different from now." Fei Qianchi spoke from the bottom of his heart. His smile got deeper, the sun shining on his face as Fei Shang turned back to him with a smile.
"Senior Brother!"
A familiar voice echoed from behind them as Fei Qianchi and Fei Shang turned around, both of them smiling.
Qi Meiyao ran, forgetting her image as a bright smile rested upon her lips.
Seeing this person, Fei Qianchi shook his head with a sigh. Even after so long, Qi Meiyao was still like this. No, everyone was the same. No one would change. Even if time rushed to past them, everyone still held onto traces of their youths.
For Fei Qianchi, that was the same.
-
Fei Qianchi's life was normal now. He no longer spent decades in seclusion. His life consisted of a daily schedule. He cultivated when possible, taught some of the disciples, went out on missions, and entered many different competitions as his name began to spread even more. Fei Qianchi honed himself in this way.
Years and years flew by, Fei Qianchi was already 295 years old. Upon the mountain he was on, a dark cloud flew over his head.
Fei Qianchi sat, his legs crossed with his brows furrowed. The dark cloud was above him, flickering as light passed through it. Fei Qianchi took out a few pills, stuffing it into his mouth as he prepared for the Heavenly tribulation.
Then, there was a loud thunder as a voice shouted, "Focus on passing the tribulation, do not think of anything else!" Tian Sichan's voice was urgent as he casted a barrier to help Fei Qianchi.
Fei Qianchi's hair was blown by the air, the cloud grew darker with the passing seconds as Fei Qianchi felt sweat pooling on his head. Then, he felt it.
A bright lightning was casted from the sky, falling down towards Fei Qianchi.
Fei Qianchi felt a strong power casted down upon him, twisting his Qi as he struggled to stand against the lightning striking down on him. Nine lightning bolts. So long as he was able to last, then the Heaven would have to make way for him and allow him to transcend into an immortal.
The lightning bolt was huge, crashing down against the barrier. The barrier cracked, almost splitting. Even though the barrier took the brunt of the lightning, Fei Qianchi still suffered from it too.
Tian Sichan was not better off as he struggled to hold the barrier up, his face pallid and pale.
The lightning bolts were casted down in a fury, strong and powerful, as if the Heaven was mad with another mortal human trying to become an immortal.
Fei Qianchi felt the continuous lightning bolts attack him. He focused, not wavering as he continued to hold against the lightning.
On the fourth lightning strike, Tian Sichan's barrier broke, the shield shattering with Tian Sichan staggering back, his body held up by Fei Shang.
Fei Qianchi gritted his teeth, his hands moving in a fury, both to protect himself and to weaken the lightning. The fifth and sixth lightning struck upon Fei Qianchi, and the barrier he had made shook heavily, almost giving out.
Fei Qianchi focused his power onto the barrier he had casted. His brows were furrowed, thin lips taunt as he suffered from internal injuries.
The seventh lightning struck, a large crack appeared on the barrier as it continued to spread around the barrier.
The eighth lightning struck and upon striking the barrier, it shattered. Fei Qianchi spat out a mouthful of blood onto the ground as his blue eyes glared towards the sky.
Fei Qianchi could feel that his Qi was almost depleted. Just as a loud roaring was heard from the sky, a warm hand was placed upon his back, a wave of Qi entering his body.
Fei Qianchi didn't know who it was and he didn't have time to waste. The last lightning strike was coming down.
A burst of Qi entered his body, protecting and healing his injured soul. A barrier was casted around Fei Qianchi, a purple light radiating from it.
As the final lightning descended, it was easy to tell that it was even more powerful than the others before. The lightning came down in a split second as Fei Qianchi focused all his powers to resist. As the last lightning struck with a loud echoing sound, it slammed against the barrier, which stood strong even under the attack. Finally, unable to break apart the barrier, the lightning disappeared.
Fei Qianchi felt a fresh wave of Qi entering him, spreading from within his body as the injures on him began to heal.
The dark clouds within the sky finally disappeared as the blue sky was revealed once more. The sound of footsteps were heard as Fei Qianchi felt his body almost fall over, the man behind him held him up.
Fei Qianchi felt tired, his eyes barely opened as he stabilized his core and his soul.
Tian Sichan and Fei Shang walked over.
Fei Qianchi tried to keep his body awake as he struggled to stand. The person behind him helped him.
Fei Qianchi turned to the man helping him, and seeing who it was, he couldn't hid his surprise. This... wasn't this Zhu Longwang, the Lord of Suzhou's younger brother?
Fei Qianchi was about to take his body away from Zhu Longwang, but the cold man held onto him tighter. His purple eyes were cold, with thin taunt lips. His skin was quite pale, with sharp brows. The man was dressed in a white robe, with a blue sword encased in a jade scabbard on his back. The two were around the same height even with Fei Qianchi slouched over.
"Immortal Zhu." Fei Qianchi greeted, nodding his head. If not for this man, Fei Qianchi didn't know how the heavenly tribulation would have gone.
Zhu Longwang nodded his head, but other than that, there was no emotion on his face.
Tian Sichan and Fei Shang stood before them.
"Immortal Zhu, thank you for helping my disciple." Tian Sichan cupped his fist. Zhu Longwang was still a senior compared to him, he had to treat him with the due respect.
Fei Shang walked over to grab Fei Qianchi and helped him stand.
Zhu Longwang finally let Fei Qianchi go as he turned to Tian Sichan and said in a cold voice, "It was nothing big. I was merely passing by and felt the tribulation. It was by chance that I was able to help." Then, Zhu Longwang turned to Fei Qianchi, "It seems like we will have another immortal joining Fushui Sect. Your disciple is truly talented, having entered the Immortal Realm in less than 300 years."
Fei Qianchi also gazed at Zhu Longwang. There was no emotion between the two as they looked at each other before they both looked away.
