《protection. | DAVE EAST.》twenty-three.

two months. two months of a miserable household and pregnancy. after two months, Samael allowed her to return to normal activities which meant going out with Jayda and Dess.
She was no longer upset about her cousin, she had gotten over that by day three. They would've been back to normal, she was over him throwing her ass like a rag doll because she did throw the phone at him. She understood his anger.
It took her two and a half weeks to be able to go to the grocery store, but Samael had to go with her. When she experienced pregnancy symptoms Samael had sent someone else to get her pregnancy test. They went places like her doctors and came home.
Now that she was pregnant, she just felt stuck. They barely talked, they walked past each other and they didn't even cuddle anymore. Monét no longer sported the big rock in her finger anymore and "I love you's" seemed foreign to them. They hadn't said to each other in two months and it seemed as though the love had gone away.
Monét stared at the mimosas the two girls were drinking and wanted to swallow a bunch of it down, instead she ate two different meals that she couldn't decide on. Grabbing Dress's wine glass, she quickly sat it down. She figured it would be the perfect time to go get rid of Samael's baby at the local Planned Parenthood but she felt as though someone was definitely watching her.
She felt a disconnection to the baby inside of her, she couldn't get excited about it, she lacked the happiness. She only took her vitamins because Samael made sure she did daily. That was one of the few times they talked. The doctor explained this could've been a symptom of her pregnancy.
Her openness about it, only made Samael cuss her out the whole ride home.
flashback
The couple had just left a doctors appointment for a check up and Samael walked in on her feelings about the baby and her pregnancy. She stated how she didn't want it anymore, unbeknownst Samael was listening on the other end.
After the appointment, they sat quietly before Samael spazzed on her, "If you abort my baby, I promise you, I'll make the rest of your life hell." He chuckled menacingly, but Monét stared forward. "If you didn't want a baby, you shouldn't have told me to nut in you, use your fucking brain." His finger poked the side of her temple and Monét swung busting his lip open, the next one was sent to his eye making him swerve

Tasting the blood on his lips, he laughed harder squeezing the steering wheel tightly his knuckles turned white.
"I'm not even going to put my hands on you, you like that victim role, bitch. I should've never left my family for a broke ass bitch like you." He chuckled "should've left you with your conniving ass Cousin, so you can soak in your misery about your drug addict ass father and crazy ass mother."
The words pierced Monét's heart and she bit back her bottom lip not wanting to cry. Him beating her ass would've hurt way less than the words he said.
"Don't dish it, if you can't take it." Shrugging his shoulders. That was the longest conversation they had in a month.
"Y'all I feel like I'm suffocating in that house. Anytime I feel a glimpse of love for this baby, I just think about everything Samael is doing and that this is his seed and it just goes away. I feel so terrible." Her emotions was everywhere along with this pregnancy.
Although, she didn't feel the love she didn't want to lose it either, hoping one day that She and Samael would grow from this situation and she'd feel the happiness about this baby. Happiness that she would've felt before the argument.
Samael had stated many times that he no longer wanted Monét, but he risked so much for her and she was pregnant with his child so he had to keep her.
She knew he was just talking but it didn't make it hurt any less. The only thing she was happy about was the she hadn't gotten married to him.
"I think I'm going to go you guys, I love y'all."
Jayda and Dess looked at their best friend sympathetically, standing up to give her a tight group hug. It was like they were on the scene of Girl by Destiny's Child.
That made her laugh "damn, so if I'm clearly Kelly just this once whose Beyoncé and Michelle?"
"I mean, it's only right I'm Beyoncé since I did know you longer." Dess quickly grabbed the role of Beyoncé.
"Girl, Michelle be low key having the best parts on songs, Soldier, Cater 2 U, Girl. I'm not toooo mad, she always comes to step. Period."

The ride home was dreadful but her social battery had died and she just wanted to lay in bed. Every day she rubbed her belly and talked to her little one. She felt like eventually the disconnection would change and she'd feel better about being pregnant by a man she hated.
Entering their large home, her mood sank. She looked at Samael on the couch, he didn't say a word to him and vice versa. Taking off her coat, she hung it up in the closet by the door, her stomach showing in skin tight dress she wore for brunch, including all of the food she had swallowed, rubbing her small two month belly she walked further in towards the kitchen
"Can we talk?" Her eyes fell on Samael, shaking her head no she continued to walk.
"I don't wanna fight with you anymore Nolle." Samael stood up, looking at her intently, she shook her head.
"We're not fighting, we're just literally not talking." Shrugging her shoulders, she continued her trip to the kitchen. Samael right on her heels.
"I'm sorry Noelle, putting my hands on you was wrong, keeping you in the house for two months was wrong, the hurtful shit I said was so wrong. I love you and I don't want you to have to go through this pregnancy without me by your side. Eventually this is going to get rough and I'll be there for you. I'm so sorry." Samael pleaded and Monét stared at him, wanting to forgive him but also feeling like "fuck him"
She knew she was wrong about a lot of things throwing her phone at him, hitting him, giving his shit for protecting her but the damage was done.
"You hurt me way too fucking much Samael and I'm literally only here for this baby."
"You don't think every busted lip or black eye don't fucking hurt? You think cause I'm a nigga I don't feel pain. You abusive as fuck bro, you always swinging then start playing victim. You caused this shit. You was mad because that bitch betrayed you and she ended up dying. You forgive every body but me but I tried and don't give a fuck anymore. If you wanna leave, we're both done." Samael left her standing there, realizing he was no longer going to fight for their relationship. Her eyes watered and she felt herself getting emotional again.
"If you stay you'll look like a pussy, if you go you're going to lose your man... Aight, so boom... I'm going start packing the shit in the closet" she stood in deep thought, "but girl if he don't be on some you not going nowhere, I'm gone be fucked... imma just lay my ass in bed and act like I ain't just cause a scene." Sucking her teeth, she walked upstairs putting her attitude face up, going straight to the closet she roughly grabbed her suit case, stomped around and made as much noise as she could. Even resulted to yelling out lyrics to songs about being heartbroken.
"oh, this motherfucka wanna play hard ball." Stepping out the closet she stood in front of the tv that he was watching. "Give me the batteries in the tv remote. I bought them. You want me gone? Imma get the fuck out."
Her eyes started watering up, Samael sighed getting up from the bed linking his arms around her neck kissing her forehead.
"I don't want you to go Monét. I want you to stay with me till death do us part. I would've gotten out my notebook and did some manifesting techniques you be watching on tik tok to get you back baby."
Monét sniffled looking up at him. "We're 4liferssss?" She asked curiously, her lips forming a pout.
"Always and forever baby girl. All three of us." He rubbed her belly, bending down to kiss it.
"I love you Samael."
"I love you too Monèt."
