Allison's POV
One year and six months later
As soon as my plane landed on the ground, I felt so at home and couldn't wait to see my family.
Jackson got his mate named Carrie a few months ago, but poor Mason is still mate less...
As everyone got their luggage before the plane doors opened, I stayed seated because it was too crowded so I waited for the plane to clear out.
When it was finally clear, I grabbed my bag and walked down the tunnel and towards the waiting area.
As soon as I stepped in, I saw my family all standing up looking at the door I ran and jumped on my dad, giving him a hug. Next was my mom and I saved the boys hugs for last.
"Look at you honey! Mrs. fashionista over here!" Mom laughed.
Eh, I was wearing dark Jean booty shorts and a white lace tank top along with tan and white lace ankle boots with my hair curled back and some makeup on.
"Did you train?" Was the first thing that came out if my dad's mouth. Well it was hard not to be seen in wolf form, but look what I got!!" I squealed, putting my bags down and lifting my shirt so everyone could see my soon to be a six pack.
"Good job Allison!" Mason laughed, pulling me into a another hug.
"Ugh! I missed you guys!" I laughed.
"We missed you too" Jackson smirked.
"How could you not? I am pretty fabulous...."
They started laughing and the boys picked up my bags as we walked outside of the airport. When we stopped, we were in front of a black Camaro next to a yellow mustang.
"You guys got new cars?" I asked.

"Nope" Jackson smirked, popping the'p'. "You and I got cars."
Did I hear correctly?
"What?" I screeched.
Mom and dad started laughing while Mason grinned.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
"Yes, yours is the Camaro." Dad smiled.
I turned and examined my new baby as if it were fragile while everyone laughed at me.
He'll, I don't care.... I always wanted a freaking Camaro!
"Well Sweetie, we are going home, but you can do whatever. Be home by six." Mom said while tossing me a pair of keys that had a diamond wolf on the key chain.
I smiled evil my before running. I hopped in the driver side and I smelling the new car. Am I the only one who thinks that new cars smell like need jerky? Putting the keys in the ignition. I listened as my baby rumbled to life and I put the ignition in drive before driving to the nearest Starbucks. When I arrived, I got out my phone and texted Trish.
I smirked before ordering two double chocolaty chip graphs because that what we both like.
Just as the drinks were ready. The door chained, saying someone was here, and in walked the black headed girl I've been wanting to see.
"Allison!" She yelled, earning werid looks from people.
I took her in for a big hug before pulling away.
"You look good Trish" I smirked.
"Me?! Girl! Your fashion sense finally came your curves exactly right!!!" She freaked while sitting down.
"Thanks"
"No problem, so how was Germany? "
"Ugh, it was horrible never being able to shift, but other than that, it was great." I smiled.
She nodded her head.
"So how's your pack doing?" I asked.
Trish is part of the Dark Skull, so I never really see her except at school.

"We're doing good, Cole has actually stepped up and is trying to become a good Alpha."
"Cole Black?" Stepping up? Those two can't be put in the same sentence....."
"I'm serious! Ever since he turned sixteen he's even good and not sleeping around. He even rejected Brittany! He says he wants to find his mate so the pack can get stronger with their Luna, but he has yet to find her."
"I'll have to see it to believe it." I smirked, sitting back in my chair.
"Oh you'll see it when school starts" she repeated my action.
We'll see about that....

The Beta Test
Our nameless narrator participates in a beta test for an early VRMMO game Meridian 60. That's not the real name but it captures the spirit of the adventure given the chronological and contextual era of the game. His character is unique and special but purely for mundane reasons and not because of any inherent or social significance. The first chapter which is mandatory to submit a story on RR serves as a bit of a prologue with some exposition, although I limited that to a reasonble level. I plan to begin releasing additional chapters starting Thursday, to align with the 48 hour submission approval process and also because I have something to do Wednesday. I haven't written anything but the summary and first chapter, nor have I plotted anything out. This is because my plan is to release roughly 34000 words a day, 10 chapters of ~12.5 pages each, for 3 days at which point the story will be complete. I'd have liked to plan for more but handling the interface tables and so forth needed for a data heavy litrpg slows down the writing process. 100k words is a bit short, a standard pre epic fantasy 300 page spec fic novel, but this is mostly a writing exercise and I am considering a longer project if I can maintain the pace. Probably do a different concept, maybe a dungeon core, over 5 days, since a 500 page novel is more common these days. Slight subversion of VRMMO stories Stat heavy/crunchy No paying your bills by gaming No out of game conspiracies No angst, interpersonal drama, or damsels/dudes in distress Schedule is 30000 words a day excepting the first chapter, a limitation of RRs fiction submission system Fantasy, high magic, male lead, no party, guild, or harem No gore, some profanity, no sexual content, and no current plans for anything traumatic

Barely average, meek chunk of a human, Dominic, wakes up one day to find that he's been transported to another realm of life, and is being hunted by minions of a Dark God who wants him for... nefarious purposes. This is a LitRPG work in progress. I welcome feedback.

Welcome to the Upward Bound System, V.3
They say third times the charm. With every iteration we improve. When the System came to Earth, it changed everything. It is a grand thing used by gods and men alike. What had once been fantasy was now a reality. People believed and so that belief gave ideas the strength to manifest. "Welcome Founder of the SCP Foundation" It stirred the gods from their deathly slumbers. Stirred by an almost mechanical voice promising them new life, and followers as countless as the stars. All it asked of them was for their help. Help with what though? The old gods, the forgotten gods, and the new gods drew breath, and then made their voices heard. On a day like any other Dante was home from college watching the Presidential inauguration with his parents. Little did they know that this day would turn out to be anything but ordinary. That this was the day everything changed. Dante is not your typical MC. While he has a troubled past, he looks forward to the future. Follow Dante, his parents, and the new friends he meets along the way as they traverse this new system world. However, before they can explore this new world they must complete, the Tutorial. (Please note: This tutorial will be part of the story. Rather than a skim of the information, you will get to experience it in depth. So the tutorial will last a good while.) A much slower style of LitRpg than what you would normally find. Follow Dante and his party as they find their world taken over by the system. Welcome people of Earth to the Upward Bound System!... With the system's arrival so too does great danger come... The tools of your survival shall be granted upon you by the system... Please note, I don't own the art. Please enjoy the story, and if you don't please leave a comment and I will try to improve the story for you. This is the second version of this story, so feel free to check out the original and compare the two.
