God it hurts
The throbbing in my joints
The ringing in my head
The constant dread
I've learned to live with this
I've grown used to the pain
I've grown used to the set backs
They always seem to get in the way
They tell me to say something
But I don't want to
They te me to get help
But the help doesn't work
I hate the attention the pain brings
I hate people worrying about me
People have worry about me enough
So I'll suck it up
I'll lie through my teeth
I'll hide the pain
I'll convince them I'm fine
I'll pretend the pain isn't that bad
I'll stop their worries
And when I'm alone
I'll let the pain come
When the pills don't work
I'll let it beat me down
Because as long as they think I'm fine
I'm fine

He will go back to his old world, take care of his orphaned sister, and finally start a new relationship with the woman who haunts his heart. No. Matter. What.Meanwhile, his classmates slowly learn to live in this new world, and hidden powers are scheming a new future that doesn't only concerns this estranged world. I put the "sexual content" warning not because it's a ero-novel but because I plan something special for the 69th so better be safe than sorry.Though the warnings for gore and strong language aren't there just for the show. Especially the gore part. Ciaran has a gruesome past and lives a gruesome life. The release schedule is set for 1 chapter every day with a break at the end of each week. Might change depending on how my creative side is feeling, though I'm quite serious on this wn. I was there when it happened. When the walls of reality came crashing down upon us. When everything changed. I was there. I watched it happen. There wasn’t anything I could do, of course. When two veritable demigods are fighting to the death, getting caught in between is a great way to end up very dead. Or worse. That’s when it happened. Raw time crashed with pure paradox, and the universe itself screamed in torment. Night turned to day turned to yesterday and tomorrow and blue and yellow and whale and petunia, and then it snapped back, all at once, with a thunderous roar that was not heard but felt. And then I saw the blue box for the first time. ------------ A System Apocalypse event happens in a world of superheroes, like you would see in the comic books. What happens when the world changes, and heroes and villains are now bound by a System that limits their powers? What will change, and what will remain the same? This story will incorporate Champions/HERO System 5th Edition rules. There will be dice rolls determining the action, and blue boxes with lots of crunchy numbers.
