Addicting and enticing

Something you don't want to let go of

You could sink into it

And stay in it for hours

Oblivious to the rest of the world

It's embrace will comfort you

Hold you

Love you

Keep you safe

And when you wake

You'll remember how it feels

And how cold it is without it

Sleep is as close to death as we can get-

Without ever even dying

It's a temporary death

As morbid as that may be

It's somehow comforts me

Knowing what death may feel like

Enjoy your sleep
