《Deal》Secrets

"I won't let this go," Ratna said.
Now I was standing at the top of the stairs directly looking at them and my legs stopped moving. I was confused about what she meant by a human. Maybe it was her way of mentioning me?
"Don't you dare talk to me like that," he warned her.
"Just because you are prince doesn't mean you gonna do whatever you like," she said in a very angry tone.
Prince?
What was going on? The way they were using words was different. I mean how differently they were talking.
I was so confused about hearing what they were talking about. Last time I remembered there was no prince in our country since I don't know how many years.
"You will not tell me what to do and what not to," he snarled going near her, and what I saw just turned my life upside down. It felt like a dream. He had fangs and she showed her fangs too. His eyes were black and he seemed so frightening. Both of them were glaring at each other.
What did I see that day was real?
"Calm down, Amol. You don't have any right to be angry. It's me who should be angry," she said in a low voice and in a calm tone.
He looked down closing his eyes and when he looked up his eyes were normal.
"Why did you marry her?" She asked him. He was silent and as realization hit her, her face lit up.
"Don't tell me you married her for blood?"
As if she was telling the truth he looked at her.
Blood?
I took the support of the handrail to stop myself from falling. There was no point in this cause I had already fallen for him. It was too much information for me to handle.
He was about to talk but "I knew it. No one but you could find her," She said in a very happy tone cutting him off.

"This is a great achievement, Amol. I knew something was up but wow you are just," She clapped her hand, and then she noticed my presence. She narrowed her eyes at me.
"I guess we have a company," she said with a smirk on her face.
Like a wind, she was in front of me in a second, and before she could do anything to me he pulled her back. She glared at me.
"I can't believe, A pathetic and ugly human like you has that magic blood. Feel lucky that I won't kill you because we need that blood and due to that we need you alive," she glared at me but I only looked at him trying to see if this was all dream. I still couldn't believe what I saw.
"Enough," he said gritting his teeth.
"Now you can divorce her or just throw her out of here, Amol," she said in excitement.
My hand fell down the handrail. Now I wasn't in support of anything. Hell, what would that support of handrail do when in life I didn't have the support of anybody?
"Leave," he almost yelled.
"But..." She was shocked to see him asking her to leave.
"Just go Ratna," he ordered.
She rolled her eyes.
"This isn't finished yet," she said looking at me and within a second was out of the house.
I was about to take a step back but I fell down.
"Maya," he said hesitantly.
Maya? Was he even serious? Maya means love and him calling me Maya felt like an insult to me. It felt like a slap on my face.
He was about to pull me up but I stopped him by showing my hand. I slowly got up and kept space between us. I was not even afraid of him. I was so damn hurt.

"Wow," I said more to myself. He came closer to me and was about to place his hand on my cheek but turned my head in another direction.
"I..." He was about to speak but not bothering to listen to him I turned to go to the room. I was so fucking hurt. Did he make a deal with me just for my blood? Did he force me into this marriage for blood? I started to have feelings for him, damn it. I loved him. Yes, I gave him my whole heart but he dropped it and it shattered into 1000 pieces. One minute he made me feel like I mattered and boom next minute made me feel like a piece of shit. Life always played games with me and from all those games he was the dirtiest one.
"Please, let me explain," he followed me.
"Please, just once. It's not what you think," he pleaded.
I had enough of his bullshit. He was about to get married to her but for my fucking blood he forced me into this. Why didn't he just take my blood and killed me?
"Stop it, stop it," I screamed putting my hands on my ears. "For fuck sake, stop acting like innocent. I saw and heard everything," I said directly looking at him.
"Why? Why did you save me that day? why didn't you just take my blood and killed me?" I screamed. His face fell.
"You saved me just so you could destroy me? Guess what you succeeded on that, congratulations." I said clapping my hands. He just gave me that hurtful look.
"It's all over now. I am out of this fake marriage and now you prince can marry your princess. Don't worry I am still going to give you my blood," I said and without looking at him went to the room and locked the door.
I sat in the room but not a drop of tears fell from my eyes, as if I had known sooner or later he would hurt me like everyone else and he proved it right. I punched the wall and hit my head on it time and again. I screamed like a mad woman and slowly fell to the floor.
"Why? Why?" I screamed. Why did this always happen to me? Why?
I looked up at the ceiling and every weird thing that had happened to me came to my mind. Once, I found blood packets inside the fridge and Tina convinced me that it was a tomato sauce.
"But sauce comes in a bottle, right? and it seems like blood," I asked, confused.
"No, it's pure organic so it seems like that," she answered trying to make me believe.
"Weird," I thought.
The first day I saw him in the garden, his eyes were black.
Once, I saw rima going inside the kitchen. I followed her and when she came out her mouth and teeth were covered with red color.
"Oh my gosh, rima your mouth is bleeding," I told her running beside her. She didn't panic. She stared at me.
"I think we should go to the hospital," I said.
"No, no, it's just a sauce," she replied wiping it.
I found it totally weird, who eats sauce like that?
And one day while I was alone and bored I took a walk around the house and found a secret room. I went inside and it was like a lab. I wanted to ask them about it but totally forgot.

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
