I was more than furious but I controlled myself cause showing them anger was of no use.
"Why are you trying to show me that you can do anything?" I asked in a very calm tone. My parents looked at him but smiled instantly which made me believe that they were behind this all.
"So I was right. You both are behind this all," I said.
"Behind what, son?" My mom asked.
"Why are you doing this all when I have already said that when the right time comes I will give it to her," I said with slight pain in my chest.
"What have we done now?" Dad asked and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Why did you send that vampire to hurt Gurans?" I finally asked and they both looked at each other.
"I know it was you," I said.
Mom looked down and shook her head. Dad just smiled but didn't bother to speak.
"Do you think we will attack from behind? If we have to take her away from that house and bring her here we can do it in a heartbeat and we don't need a vampire to do that,"
"Who knows you were trying to give me a warning?"
"I don't do warning, Amol," Mom said playing with her nails.
"Then who sent him?" I asked them.
"Somebody knows about her and the blood," Dad said.
I couldn't understand who it could be. I was about to leave but mom stopped me.
"We are not doing anything right now only because of you, Amol. I don't know what you want with the girl but as soon as you are done I want her here with me," she said getting up and coming closer.
Even though I wanted to tell her never. I didn't say anything. I nodded and left.
I went to where that vampire was. I opened the door to the basement and he was groaning in pain. I smirked at that and went closer to him. Here in Nepal, there was this herb named Yarsagumba (Caterpillar fungus) which is used as medicine for humans but for vampires, it is a poison. If used more it could even kill a vampire. I had asked someone to bring it for me cause it can only be found in the Himalayan region and is very expensive. I made the powder of it, mixed it with water, and sprinkle it on his body which made him scream. Mixing with water wouldn't hurt as much as it would without it. I just wanted to torture him not kill him.

"So tell me who send you here?" I asked him but he shook his head.
I had starved him for days and I knew he was more than hungry. I asked one of the guards to bring blood and pour it on the floor around him so he could look at it and beg for me to give it to him. The guard did what I told him to do but I was impressed with this vampire. He had so much control over him but it didn't take a few hours for him to lose control. He begged for me to give him just a drop of blood. I smirked and started to ask him questions.
"Who is behind this all?" I asked.
"I...I can't...tell you," he almost screamed.
"Fine," I said bringing blood near his nose which made him scream More in pain. I then again sprinkle the yarsagumba mixed water in his body which made him lose his mind.
"Stop, stop..... I will....tell you." He said and I smirked knowing I won.
"Someone...Someone called me and.... and asked me to do it. It was a..... woman but she didn't give me any.... details....about her,"
"You are lying," I gritted my teeth.
"I am not. She sent me some money and yarsagumba after that I came here," he screamed, and looking at him I could say he wasn't lying.
"Yarsagumba for what?" I asked him.
"To kill every vampire who would come in my way,"
Hearing it I almost lost my mind.
"How did she send you money?" I asked and he gave me all the details. After that, I looked at the guard and nodded him to kill him but not before torturing him to death.
After torturing him for a few days they removed him from this world.
My parents would ask me when I was planning to give her but I would tell them to wait. I knew they believed me and were relying on me. I got some time when they left due to an emergency in another country. I was thankful to that emergency for taking my parents away. It was something to do with the other country's vampires. They had caught some of our vampires getting without their permission of something like that and my parents had to leave there to solve it. Being a king and queen is frustrating sometimes if you have dumb people who get themselves in a problem along with the others.

Everything was going well when Ratna came. She would roam around me just like Bee around the nectar. She was too much to handle and at the same time due to my parents, she was my business partner which was the worst. Gurans was even coming closer to me when Ratna found out about Gurans and damn due to her Gurans found about all the secrets. I knew after this all she shouldn't stay with me cause now everyone would know about her but also I was determined to keep her close so I could protect her but going towards the room I realized she wouldn't even want to see my face now.
I was thinking of calling my parents to tell them about Gurans when they entered the house. I didn't let them see Gurans cause that would make it even worst. They were furious with me when I told tell them that I was sending her to another country. My father refused.
"She is not leaving the country," he said.
"It's good for all of us, dad. Ratna knows about her and it won't be long before it will reach her parent's ears. They would definitely come for her." I said.
"Sending her far won't stop Ratna from telling her parents,"
"But me agreeing to marry her will," I said and my dad shook his head.
"I can't believe you son. One wife is not enough that you want another?" He asked and I rolled my eyes at his joke.
"I guess your one part of the mind had already stopped working after you married a human and now getting married to a vampire might also stop another part of the brain or even your heart. You know how these women get inside us in a snap. Once they get to you every part of your body starts to work as they want you to work them." he joked again which made him get a glare from mother.
I requested them and My mother on one condition agreed that when she comes back she is all theirs.
"Fine, Amol. Whatever you want to do but don't forget once she is back she is all ours," she said.
Mom also agreed to give her divorce papers and ticket but after Gurans left she told me Gurans gave her a tube of blood which I refused to let her use.
"I don't know why you are protecting her," she said.
"I am not," I lied.
"Then why don't you let me use the blood which was given by her without any force,"
"Do you think this little amount of blood will help," I told her trying to show her that I was into something big.
"Ok, then. I won't use it,"
I don't know why as soon as they came back they didn't forcefully go to Gurans and took her. I don't know what was going on inside my mother's head. My mother was a very calm woman and the way her mind worked was more than impressive. She was strong and the way she would do things would make you afraid and surprised. She agreed to everything I asked and it was very suspicious. To keep Gurans safe from them I had to think of something.

War of Seasons
Dorothea Atlin is the young, apathetic leader of the neutral territory of Sirpo, a chilly land hovering above the continuously warring factions of Sacer and Ghuria, whose devastating magics have ravaged their people and lands time and time again. Following a shocking attack and a cruel deception, Dorothea grows her conscience and takes up arms, using her self-destructive ability to manipulate the flow of time to ensure Sacer’s victory. Her growing understanding of war and the two factions is guided by Iree Nobelis, the determined and enthralling commander of Sacer’s forces, Ariana Kingfisher, a steely swordswoman of mixed Ghurian and Sacerian descent, and Rhys Tamlin, a kind but haunted soldier who goes to challenge Dorothea’s self-imposed celibacy and join her on a mutual journey of healing from the tragic legacies of the Atlin family and wars between the nations. Meanwhile, Dorothea’s only friend and deserter from the Sacerian military, Shark Olyen, returns to their homeland to face the family that disowned them and finds more than they bargained for in meeting Cerid Creed, a noble whose duty to his people clashes with his desires in romance and in life, much like Shark’s did long before. As their developing or preexisting loves and differing convictions on how to achieve peace create rifts between these major players, Dorothea experiences a personal revolution that leads her to fight for what she believes is right, no matter the cost. A slow-burn story that takes time setting up the psychology and motivations of characters for explosive payoff later down the line.
