I silently followed Scarlett as she made her way to her apartment along with the three more girls. The girls sniggered and tittle tattled while I was psyched up in my head to focus on my work only. I can't waste a minute of my life. My brother was my only family left and I was his only hope. My father died as his heart couldn't bear the betrayal of my mother running away with her co-worker and that left me alone with my brother Lewis. He was my only family, I knew I must do it for him. I knew I had to do anything for him.

''Okay, girls these are your rooms. They are a bit smaller but that's all I can do for you girls. Make sure you keep them clean and adjust yourself or else you can go ahead and find yourself a place.'' I looked at her pencil heel, she was very stunning. Her looks were appealing and the way she talked, gorgeous. She was born to be a boss, her whole attire was just perfect.

"Now this is my apartment." She took a few steps forward and opened a door to a very luxurious apartment. We all peeped inside and followed her as she led us in. "I'll be giving you girls classes here and the ground floor is the Boutique, there will be certain rules that you must follow because no company thrives without rules and regulations." She rubbed her hands, keeping her spine straight and proudly watching our faces. She was a wealthy fashion designer, living with her long-term boyfriend, an Instagram model, and gym instructor Ryker Malarkey. We haven't seen him in person before, but he was quite a hot topic these days.

Scarlet was doing this favor on us, she has appointed us for a job in her Boutique and it was nice of her that she was letting us stay in her place for free.

"Hey, babe!" We all shook in our places when a beautiful, husky voice fell upon our ears. We all looked at the handsome hunk standing before our eyes. He was drying his hair with a towel, shirtless and it took us a minute to notice that he only had a towel wrapped over his waist. A remarkable star tattoo rocked his body, as much as I wanted to count the stars, I found if inappropriate to stare at my boss's boyfriend.

Our eyes were stuck on him, our cheeks red. He smiled, pulling his lip from one corner and squeezing his eyes as his smile widened. He lightly hugged Scarlet, who was sharing the same sweet, but a less attractive smile than his.

"Babe these are the new girls." She whispered and stood with him, his hand wrapped around her back lightly. Wow, his strong hand might feel very warm.

"Girls! He is my boyfriend Ryker Malarkey." She introduced him, his smile didn't fade for a second.

"Hi!" We all said in unison. He had a small towel hanging down his neck. The water drops, dripping down his chest, was making us all gulp in thirst.

"She is Lacy, that's willow, and she is Nichole." She pointed at each girl and as he looked at them, they all gulped. His stare was enough to take away their breaths. "That tall one is Kathleen." The way she mentioned my name, all the girls chuckled except me. She kind of turned everyone's attention to me.

"Hi!" I mumbled, nervously playing with my fingers. He roughly looked my way and then itched his forehead, looking down.

"In the meantime, he will help you girls maintain your body." She announced out of nowhere. This was never mentioned before, not that it was a bad thing because I felt like she was not happy with our looks because she wanted her workers to look fine not only fit but it also sorts of caught Ryker off guards. He quickly glanced at his girl and they argued in his eyes.

"Right, honey?" She faked a smile and pressed his hand in her hand.

"Sure!" He casually spoke, maintaining his posture again.

I felt bad for him, for a moment, it felt like she was the boss in their relationship but it was none of my business. Scarlet was nice to me, the way she was helping me was everything I needed at that moment.

"Girls! To your room now." She turned on her heels and didn't even wait for us to head out.

"I'm your biggest fan." Willow giggled, finding a moment to praise him.

"Well, that is sweet." He mumbled, giving a simple smile. Everyone turned to walk out to their respective rooms, but Ryker passed a quick stare to Willow's butt. It was so quick that I couldn't figure out if he meant to do that or was it unintentional.

There was a huge hallway outside their apartment to which our rooms were located. Locking my room, I let out a deep sigh. It was a hard day, leaving behind my town to earn money for my brother's hospital bills, it was indeed hard.

I passed a full eye into the room. It was a cozy little room with an attached bathroom. There was one dressing with a beautiful mirror and a single bed in the middle. All and all, Scarlet has saved me from much trouble, I can't ever thank her enough. Before I could think too much, I dozed off as soon as I closed my eyes. It was a peaceful sleep after months. Knowing someone is chasing you can steal your sleep badly, but I slept peacefully because I knew that no one knew I was here.

''Kathrine!'' I heard a yell and a hard knock on my door. I've no idea how I slept for this long but the sun was already shining through the window and I forgot to pull the covers down too, that's how tired I was last night. 

''It--is Kathleen,'' I mumbled in my mouth, yawning and changing my side. 

''Wake up! You are late.'' The voice shook me, I was late? 

''Fish!'' I cursed, throwing the blanket afar and running into the bathroom. ''I'll be there in a minute,'' I yelled from the bathroom, leaving the door open. Dammit! I knew the schedule. Ryker was going to give us some workout tips and as our gym instructor, he was going to help us get in shape and maintain it. They had their personal gym in their apartment so we don't have to leave for the gym.

''You have pissed off everyone,'' I heard Willow's voice and rolled my eyes under the shower. I knew I have pissed them off, obviously, they wanted to start working out with him so they can drool watching him sweat and stretch.
