Adina
"Adina listen to what I have to say!" Kronos grabbed me and dragged me back to the bed where I was sat down.
I couldn't forgive myself. How could I just let go of the fact that Kronos is that type of man. How could I forget so easily what kind of cruel intentions he has. I pushed him away from me, "Why did you do it?! You were a coward and left right after! Leaving me to-to hide his dismembered body from the kids." Kronos takes a few steps back after all my pushing and shoving.
"I did it out of pure rage and hate. I wasn't even supposed to be there. I was so heavily under Natalia's spell back then, it was during a small time that she had left so I went to patrol with my men. We were checking human housing making sure nothing with them was alarming. As we closed in on your house I had them all turn back, your scent had washed away Natalia's control over me. And when I saw that man walk out, and then you. You took my breath away,"
I cry harder as I see Kronos start to tear up himself.
"With our world Adina, the dark creature world you've started to know of...if someone threatens to take away your mate, you take away their life. He was a threat, and baby I couldn't stand that smile you were giving him. Because I was supposed to be the one to give you that happiness. So when he attempted to propose I couldn't handle it. All the emotions that overwhelmed me...and I reacted the only way I knew how." I stay limp, my shoulders slumped back as tears leave my eyes.
"He was innocent." I croaked. "He died because of me. Because I was fated to you." I press my hands to my eyes.
"I regret it, I regret killing him because as much as I don't want to say it...he was a big part of your life. But I can't go back and erase what I did." I look at him, I sniffled. "I'm sorry." He told me sincerely.

"Why did you leave?" I asked, I didn't understand why he would kill Tobias and then just run off. Kronos sighs, his thumb brushing my tears away.
"I don't remember why...this tea is bringing back all the memories Natalia had suppressed." He tells me, looking at my face aimlessly. "Do you forgive me?" I sigh, closing my eyes.
"I can't say right now." An idea popped in my head. "I'll be right back. I need to find Charmeine and Gabriel." Kronos furrowed his eyebrows.
"For what?" He questioned, his eyes following me as I move around.
"I'm going to meet him, I'm going to try and see if I can connect with Tobias like I do in my dreams." I left before he can give me a rebuttal. "Gabriel? Charmeine-ah!" I scream as they appear in front of me.
"You summoned us?" Gabriel says as they both stare at me with an amused look. I press my hand to my chest, I didn't think they could just...poof right in front of me.
"Yes, i was wondering if you guys can help me try to get in contact with someone who has passed away." The two messengers look between themselves. Nodding their heads as they form an answer between each other.
"Yes, that shouldn't be a problem. Especially since it'll be good training for you. This will be a good start for learning how to control the visions you get and how you can open them up." Charmeine said with a happy smile.
I followed the two down the long empty hallway. Trying to mentally prepare myself for what was about to happen. I couldn't believe I was thrown into this world, but I guess I have always been fated to this way of life. If everything goes right, I'll tell Tobias that I'm sorry.
I look around the blank room nothing in here except us and a single blanket and pillow. "Just lay here, it's better for you to be in a empty room so you could focus on what you need to get down." Gabriel explained as Charmeine helped me lay down on the blanket and pillow.

I nodded my head, ready for the next step. "Now," Charmeine said peering into my eyes. "Picture the one you wish to meet, focus...focus on that. Find a happy memory that you shared together. Hold onto that." Her voice easing into that state of mind.
"Stay relaxed, slowly close your eyes, and call out for them."
I open my eyes, gasping in shock as I see I'm taken to the cottage. I look around, trying my best to keep myself collected. I look in front of me, walking towards the front door. An airy breeze whipped through my hair, it was spring. Tobias' favorite season.
I grasp the handle on the door and open it. "Opal..." I burst into tears as I see Tobias. He walks to me, cupping my face. "How...how are you here? I-" We embrace each other.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry Toby. Please forgive me." I cry into his chest, he rubs his hand over my back. "My mate-he did this. He took your life away from you-" Tobias pulled away from me.
"Opalescent. Look at me." He grabs my hands in his, my heart aches as he does what he would always do. He brings my hands up to his lips and kisses them. I stare into his green eyes, his black curly hair still not tamed.
"I'm not mad, at you or your mate. Opal you brightened my life when I was sure I shouldn't be living anymore. You thought I saved you but you saved me. You took in Tatiana, and you're raising her on your own. So smile for me, please?"
"I love you...I've always loved you. You were my first love." I told him and a heavy weight lifted off of my chest. He grinned, and I smiled with him.
"Now I really found closer. Go live your life, thank you. You'll always be my girl. Plus I got you first so I'm not that jealous." The hot tears can't stop coming, he leans in and press an innocent kiss to my lips. "I forgive him. I love you, Opal."
"I love you, Tobias."
I sat up, my entire body shaking. "Easy, easy. Here, drink some water." Gabriel said as Charmeine handed him a glass and came back to my side. I placed the glass down and winced at the pain in my head.
It felt like a i had a heavy weight on my head, my vision blurred. I rubbed my eyes, blinking a few times before my vision went back to normal. "He forgives us." I sigh as I let my head fall back into the pillow.
"King Kronos is currently discussing things with the council. Shall we bring you back to your room?" I nodded my head, letting them help me up.
Kronos entered the room a few hours later. His eyes brightening as he sees me. I smile at him softly, letting him crush me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around him, he kissed the top of my head. "He forgives you."
"I don't c-I mean what about you. Do you forgive me?" He gives me a smile. I slowly nod, rolling my eyes at him.
"A little bit. What did you talk about with the council?" I asked. I sat with him on a chair. He sighed pulling out a few pictures. My eyes widened and I coughed.
Old pictures showed our reflections. "Oh my-that's us!" Kronos nodded his head.
"They told me about the origin of what happen to us. It's true we are the reincarnation of Hades and Persephone, your mother didn't want you to be damned with me in the underworld, so she made a plan with Natalia. Natalia at first just wanted my crown, but then she started to become obsessed with me. When you had came to visit me down in the underworld she attacked you. You were pregnant. Each time-each time you are found pregnant with our baby."
Tears fill my eyes, just like my dream. I nod my head, "It'll be different this time, Adina." Kronos said as he peered into my eyes. He kissed my cheekbone and then my lips.
I smile kissing him back, "We'll protect each other."
