The Spider's Lair (Vomit Draft)
A group calling themselves ‘The Starlight Spear’ ventures into a dungeon known as ‘The Spider’s Lair’ in the hopes to recover the treasure it possesses. Along with their newest member Morana, what could possibly go wrong? This 'Novella' -ha Novel* will follow the stories of a few main characters centering around a coherent plot. Theo Wood is an elf who joins a new criminal guild in the city of Leeside known as the 'Webbed Children', Sabrina Black is a young orphan girl developing strange new abilities, and Saurus, a Lord Commander put in charge for the recapture of Wetbrook--a town consumed by giant spiders! There will also be some interludes surrounding supporting characters. I'm using Royal Road to publish my first drafts, like throwing paint 'or shit' at a canvas to see what sticks. The writing quality will be the main focus in draft two (You've been warned), and I'm using the first draft mainly as a loose outline for the plot. I will also try and 'show, not tell' in draft two. This is my first attempt at a novel! Any help or advice is much appreciated! If you want to support me! Grimjack the Eviscerator never really cared for Christmas, but with the horde weakened from a recent attack by the Stridian Armada, he has no choice but to go to Santa Claus for help. He arrives at the North Pole to find that he can't turn in the Christmas wish granted to him by the Bajorin Alliance because Santa has gone missing! So, he reluctantly teams up with an unlikely group of heroes to try and save Christmas before the Torellians can harness the sadness of a year without presents and finish off the horde. Will Grimjack learn the true meaning of Christmas, or will his blood stained heart stay hardened to the truth hidden behind all the presents and decorations?

Journey into My New Life
I was once a college student who minded his own business. That's not to say I am a coward but I just didn't involve myself with events outside of my scope of existence. That all changed when the Fire Nation attacked... Just kidding. But in all seriousness due to several unfortunate events I died and went to heaven or whatever. I was given a mission and sent on my way to my next life. I suppose you could call it rebirth but the world I was reborn in is very different than Earth. There are many races and many new things including MAGIC! Unfortunately, there is little to no technology or science never underestimate the stupidity of a people who can just wave their hand and make fire. "How does it work?"" "It just works?"" ""What happens if you give it extra oxygen?"" "What is 'oxygen' is it tasty?"AN: Hey, this is my first official novel/fiction. I plan to separate it into several books and I have it all planned out I just have to write the actual story. I'll try to post at least once a week after I upload the first 30,000 words.Although this has a Mature tag it's only slightly mature. I don't go over the top with gore there may however be sexual scenes in later chapters.Parts of this are similar to mushoku tensei but the story later diverges from the canon.
