Can I write a poem?

Possibly a sonnet

about an itty bitty boy

Or a young girl with a bonnet

I’m fresh out of ideas, though

None good can come to mind

It’s just when I’m not trying

That I think of one, I find

I can’t think of a sonnet

Or any kind of poem

I’d write about the 5o states

But the truth is I don’t know ‘em!

Now that I’ve decided what to write

Adios, au revoir, shalom, goodbye.
