"So (Y/N), tell me a bit about yourself. We never really get to chat often." Leaning some more onto his desk and shifting some papers aside you once again had his full attention. Blue hues seemingly stared straight through your (E/C) ones almost as though they were reading your very thoughts.
"Um well I mean, what do you want to know?" Pursing your lips and unknowingly playing with the cardboard flaps of the juice box you waited for whatever questions he had in mind.
"Well let's start off with how you got your stand. Were you born with it?" Shaking your head at his question, you turned a bit in place to better face him. The juice box in hand was set back on top of the desk showing it's slightly mangled exterior.
"You could say that, I mean though my family does have a weird ceremony-" Cutting yourself off and raising a hand as though you were telling a secret you added on, "Well, cult type ritualistic sorta ordeal. The (L/N) children get tested before anything proceeds."
Nodding along to what you were saying he threw out a comment, "Does this 'test' have to do with the stands themselves?"
Giving a nod to his assumption you continued, "Children usually fall under three categories in the (L/N) family. Those who have stands which have been proven beneficial to the organization, those who have ones which are deemed useless, and then those who are just simply cast aside." Trailing off a bit recalling a few family members who fell under the last category your lips pressed into a firm line.
You shook the thoughts away quickly, "I fit under the first category seeing as I'm here now."
Following along he found it unfortunate that children in your family had to go through something such as that at such a young age, though thinking more about it there were bits that did make sense for such a well renowned and maintained family.

Something about the way you spoke rose a few questions, "How come you refer to them as 'the (L/N) family' and not just your family?"
Feeling like you should've figured out he'd catch on you let out an insightful hum, "Because I don't consider them family. They were much more like teachers than any family I've ever read or heard about." Simply stating that your shoulders slouched back into a relaxed state.
"I felt like I was always held at an arm's length if that makes sense. My stand is a blessing and a curse purely because the standards for me as a kid were through the roof." Listening intently to each word you said he urged you to elaborate a bit on certain points via giving a nod or letting out a hum.
"If you're saying this is what you felt like then I can only wonder how your childhood was." Leaning back into his chair his own posture relaxed though mild interest in your past flashed through his gaze.
"Well, it was very sheltered that's for sure. I mean, It feels like I missed out on a lot since most of it was spent studying." Beginning with that and having moved your hand to trace the edge of his desk with the tip of your finger a sigh left your lips, "I mean as a kid I've always wanted to travel and see new places. Which I kind of do now, but back at the house it was crazy. Everything was monitored."
"So you're saying you never left the house?" Raising a brow to follow up with the question he observed how your lips quirked up.
"I didn't say never, I snuck out sometimes. Once or twice at most but they took too long to plan out." Watching you fold your arms over one another after saying that he couldn't help but let out a chuckle at how you plainly admitted to sneaking out.
"So then younger you wanted to become a traveler?" Going off the first part of what you'd mentioned he watched you give a smile letting out a hum notifying him that he was right with that assumption.

"I want to travel the world. See what I can, you know." The childish gleam shining through your expression brought an adoring smile to the man's lips, you were certainly something he didn't see often in his line of work.
"But enough about me, what about you? What was your childhood like?" Firing back a question of your own you shifted in place bringing your legs up onto the chair to sit criss-crossed.
You always did wonder how to man's childhood led up to the way he acted and carried himself presently.
"Ah well, my dad was a fisherman and my mom was well a mom. Both very kind, loving parents and even now I'd never ask for anyone else." Starting out with that he pondered on what else to add without delving too much into things.
"My parents got a divorce when I was quite young and I ended up staying with my father. He was a very kind and compassionate man, I idolized him as a son should." Taking a moment to check if you were still listening he continued catching your gaze fixated on him.
"And as my life progressed I eventually joined Passione." Finishing up rather abruptly he could hear you let out a huff, unsatisfied with the information given. Upon noticing this a playful smile had made its way onto his lips, " You asked what my childhood was like and I told you a bit about it. Beggars can't be choosers."
Right away wanting to object to what he's said you merely just kept your lips seated shut spotting the smile across his expression.
The expression of a man who knew what he was doing.
"Fine. I'll settle for the bits and pieces." Crossing your arms and letting out a huff you shook your head at him, "But at some point I want to know more. You're not saying a lot for obvious reasons and I can respect that."
Surprised that you'd caught on rather quickly as to why he barley grazed over his childhood the playful smile on his face soon fell into a more sincere one. He appreciated how you didn't pry into his personal life, yet kept the mood light hearted.
"I'll tell you one day, maybe while on a trip." Softly musing that he could see your brows raise in question, the action once again dragging out a short soft chuckle from the man. "It would be nice to have a travel buddy wouldn't it?"
You were surprised at what he was saying and a rosy hue had made itself apparent crawling across your features. Did that mean Bucciarati wanted to travel with you?
No, he probably meant it in a different way. Surely.
"Aha I don't think I'm following Bucciarati. Come again?" Wanting to make sure you didn't just hear him wrong the ebony haired man softly smiled once more before speaking.
"I said you'll need a travel buddy wouldn't you?" Your mouth felt dry upon healing him clarify that and a soft fluttery feeling flooded through your veins. "Why? Do you not want to travel with me?"
Shaking your head frantically at that you almost stood from your seat instead opting to lean slightly over the table, "Oh no no I'd love to travel with you! That would be amazing." Sputtering that out you leaned back into your chair, uncrossing your legs and swinging them underneath.
Once again the dark haired man gave an endearing smile, he was happy that you accepted the statement rather quickly and in all honestly he could just imagine the scenario happening in his head.
"Oh and one more thing." Catching your attention right away he cleared his throat pulling the papers he'd pushed aside back before him, signifying that after this he was going to continue working.
"Call me Bruno."

An Invisible Girl
Not all Isekai is Human This is the story of the last survivor of her race, who is offered the option to be reborn in another world to continue the fight against the monsters that consumed her species. The new world is a horrible death world. It is filled with both beauty and horror, strange sentients of various types and perhaps the most dangerous monsters ever conceived. Humans. Two aliens. two violently opposed cultures. Is One little world big enough for both of them? First note: Please don't expect immediate action and slaughter and sex. There's a lot of conversation, drama, and interaction, as she learns about her new world. Second note: This is not 'humans as monsters'. It is more like "There are monsters, but humans can make their own". Technically I guess it qualifies as a system apocalypse, but it never really hits the apocalypse parts. Third note: This IS a Litrpg and the 'classes' provide some superhero-style action, eventually. It isn't strictly superhero, though. a lot of bits are contemporary fantasy, some are pure sci-fi, and some are superhero, depending on how people choose their new abilities. The overall theme is technically sci-fi, but soft like a baby. Fourth note: there is some sexuality (not sex) involving a protagonist in a 17-year-old body. Her mind is over 50 years old, though, and the body was created at that age in order to give her 6 months' leeway to learn to be human. This is not juvenile sex stuff, as the character is fully adult, just not adult as a Human.Plus it's mostly included for humor and alien context.
