Last time....
-----------
You had a shocked expression despite only hearing about him when Bucciarati was explaining the organization earlier.
"What? Suicide?! Polpo did?!" Mista exclaimed.
Everyone had a shocked expression except for Giorno... You glanced at him wondering if he had something to do with it or was simply unfazed.
"No way!" Narancia yelled.
"But why?" Fugo asked.
"It doesn't matter why he died." Bucciarati stated coolly, "Polpo was a capo who did things that'd get him killed." You were too lost in your own thoughts to see Bucciarati glance at Giorno.
"But what does that have to do with why we're going to Capri?" Fugo questioned.
"Polpo actually has a secret fortune." Bucciarati states in a matter-of-fact tone, "It's worth...10 billion Lire!"Everyone's eyes basically popped out of their heads at the sheer amount of money Bucciarati was talking about.
"T-Ten billion?" Abbacchio said more in shock than actually wanting an answer.
"I don't think I've seen that much money in one place except for maybe a bank!" You exclaimed.
"I'm the only person who knows where it's hidden." Bucciarati continued after the short interruption, "I'm the one he ordered to hide it. That ten billion now belongs to us! With that much money, we can claim the rank of capo!"
"A-Awesome!" Narancia said smiling. Everyone's faces started lighting up at the indication that Bucciarati would become a capo.
'It's one step closer to his and Giorno's goal.' You thought as a smile crept onto your face.
"Where is it?" Narancia asked, looking like an excited child...well technically he is a child still, but that's not the point, "Where'd you hide that kind of fortune on Capri, Bucciarati?"
"I can't tell you that yet." Bucciarati stated, "Rumors of his hidden fortune have made the rounds in the organization. No one can find out before we secure the money."
You felt like that was a smart move on Bucciarati's part. From what you had gathered about stand users, one could be hiding on this boat listening and you'd never know.
Suddenly, Narancia fell backwards.
"B-Bucciarati!" He yelled out.
You couldn't move, you were frozen to the spot with a look of horror on your face.
'Was this another stand user? Were you under attack?' Many other similar thoughts raced through your head as you stood frozen.
"Hey! Something's wrong!" Bucciarati shouted and snapped you out of your frozen state, "Did something happen, Narancia?" Everyone else turned around to look at where Narancia once was.

"Narancia!" Mista immediately ran over and started to climb up, "What the heck are you doing?"
Mista paused for a moment before calling out to the group.
"H-Hey come look at this!" He shouted.
Soon everyone surrounded a drain where all that was evidence of Narancia was his shoe.
"There's only one shoe left..." Fugo stated as Giorno picked up the shoe.
"Give that here, Giorno!" Abbacchio said as he snatched the shoe from your blond friend.
"I don't quite understand What's going on." Fugo stated, "Where'd Narancia go?"
"It's like he just vanished..." You pointed out as you stared at the drain where Narancia's shoe was found.
"You guys didn't see it?" Bucciarati asked, "To me, it looked like Narancia was pulled into this box."
"I saw it too Bucciarati, but there's no trace of him or whatever pulled him down except for his shoe." You stated.
"What?" Fugo turned around to stare at you and Bucciarati, "That's impossible! He didn't randomly fall into the ocean, did he?"
"No, he couldn't have. We would have heard a splash if he had." You reasoned.
"Narancia, where are you?" Abbacchio yelled.
"Hey Narancia! If you're just hiding...... Hup!" Mista jumped over the railing with an inflatable ring.
You had wandered over to the cabin, hoping Narancia was just messing around and you all weren't under attack.
"Hurry up and answer us!" You turned towards the entrance to the cabin after hearing Mista yell. Suddenly you felt a sharp pain in the back of your shoulder. You watched as your body seemed to deflate?! You started to panic.
"Bucciarati, Giorno!" You yelled out hoping someone would hear you, then it clicked what was happening, You threw your aviator sunglasses out of the cabin and onto the deck in a last-ditch attempt to give them any hints. Then everything went dark...
-----
Bucciarati heard his and Giorno's name being called from the front of the boat, so that's where they moved next.
"Narancia! Answer us! Narancia where are you?" Everyone was shouting and looking for their missing teammate. Fugo had walked over to where Mista had jumped down.
"Mista?" He asked, "What are you doing, Mista? Mista? Where did you go, Mista?"
"It can't be..." Bucciarati thought out loud.
"Come on, Mista." Fugo said opening the cabin, "Why are you messing around now-"
Bucciarati watched as Fugo suddenly went quiet.
"Fugo?" He called, "Hey, Fugo!" Bucciarati called as he ran out from behind the corner, but Fugo wasn't there. The only thing that was left was the destroyed cabin and a pair of aviator sunglasses, "What? What's going on?"

Giorno picked up the familiar looking sunglasses.
"These are Y/N's...She never takes them off..." Giorno said.
"Abbacchio, Giorno, stay close together!" Bucciarati commanded, "We're being attacked! There's someone hiding somewhere on this boat! This is a stand attack!"
"But why now?" Abbacchio questioned.
"The money." Bucciarati stated, "Someone found out I know where the money was, and they're trying to steal it. Which means that they're from the organization."
"Does that mean they've been tracking us ever since we were on the shore?" Abbacchio questioned.
"Looks that way." Bucciarati stated, "They probably grew impatient because I wouldn't just say where the money is. They intend to get rid of everyone but me, then make me cough up the location. And they can take their time, since we're on the ocean with no where to run."
"Are you saying Narancia and the others are dead?" Abbacchio asked.
"I didn't say that." Bucciarati answered, "But it's for ten billion. They'd even kill someone from their own organization for that."
"No, Narancia and the others are alive." Giorno stated, "They're somewhere on this boat. I don't know if the person is trying to use them as hostages, but they're alive."
"Giorno Giovanna, how the hell can you be so sure about that?" Abbacchio questioned in a condescending manner. Giorno pointed at the cabin where Fugo and Y/N disappeared.
"I used my stand to turn Narancia's shoe into a fly. The fly is trying to return to it's owner, Narancia. If Narancia was truly dead, it wouldn't be flying around searching like that."
"Can you locate him?" Bucciarati asked.
"He's alive... He's alive, but... It's not going down into the cabin or in the locker. The fly's not trying to stop... It keeps flying around that area looking for Narancia." Giorno stated.
"What the hell is his ability?" Abbacchio asked.
"Just shut up and listen." Bucciarati scolded.
"Narancia is somewhere near the entrance to the cabin. That's a fact." Giorno said and stood up, "But for some reason the fly can't find him, so it's lost. I think it's safe to assume we'll find the enemy wherever Narancia is." Giorno crouched back down, "Which means the enemy isn't just randomly hiding behind something."
"I see." Bucciarati said as he crouched down next to Giorno, "So if we don't figure out the mystery behind the enemy's ability, getting too close without knowing could get us killed." Abbacchio crouched down next to Bucciarati.
"Correct." Giorno said, "But the fact that their ability requires them to attack while hidden is a shortcoming. If we can figure out the mystery behind it, we'll be able to defeat them."
"Abbacchio, your stand..." Bucciarati leaned over to whisper in Abbacchio's ear, "might be perfect to defeat such an enemy."
"Defeat?" Giorno sat up, "Can you solve this mystery with your ability?"
"Hard to say..." Abbacchio said stubbornly.
"Damn it, Abbacchio! You'd better not be hung up on some stupid shit at a time like this!" Bucciarati cursed.
""Stupid shit? Abbacchio asked like he wasn't doing stupid shit, "No. This has to do with my own safety. I can't just carelessly reveal my stand ability in front of a stranger that I can't trust." Abbacchio this is the definition of stupid shit, "Bucciarati, I don't know what made you trust this guy, but I don't consider him a part of the team. The girl is more tolerable, but I still don't trust her."
"If we don't find out the enemy's location, we're going to be killed!" Bucciarati countered.
"And I'm saying that's just this untrustworthy brat's hypothesis." Abbacchio said being stubborn, "He just came up with it out of fear. He didn't see anything."
"Abbacchio!" Bucciarati scolded.
"The enemy is just hiding somewhere in the cabin." Abbacchio said still being a little bitch, "I'll find them and take care of them."
"If we get close without figuring out the mystery, we're going to be kil-" Giorno was cut off.
"Shut your mouth!" Abbacchio yelled at Giorno and got in his face, "You stupid little brat..."
" I, Giorno Giovanna, have a dream." Giorno said as he stood up and placed a hand on his chest.
"What are you talking about?" Abbacchio questioned.
"Hold onto these, Y/N would be heartbroken if they got damaged." Giorno shoved the pair of aviator sunglasses into Bucciarati's hands before sprinting towards the cabin.
"You can solve the mystery, right? I'm counting on you!" Giorno said as he ran.
"Giorno!" Bucciarati called out, "What the hell are you doing?!"
Suddenly a long tentacle reaches out as Giorno jumps over the storage area The tentacle grabs his a̶s̶s̶ lower back and pulled him down before stabbing him.
"G-Giorno!" Bucciarati watched as the young blond straight up got stabbed, "There's an enemy over there! Shit! Giorno's in trouble!" Bucciarati tried to run after him but Abbacchio stopped him, "Abbacchio..."
"Giorno Giovanna... You're one crazy bastard. All this to prove yourself... What the hell is wrong with you?"

This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights. Living With Magic
Arthur, a young magician, is struggling with crippling social anxiety. The issue has reached a point where he likely won't graduate from University. Reaching a crossroads, he must decide whether to try and return to a family he despises or make his own path in the world. Is the magical power he has actually beneficial in the real world? Authors Note: I'm terrible at writing a synopsis, but over time I hope to write a better one. One of my favorite series of books is the Magicians by Lev Grossman and I hope to follow that same line of thinking within my story. How would a society built around magic actually exist and is power and magic actually as great as other stories make it out to be? The story and characters will be completely original and I will try to update the story on a regular basis. Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
