《JJBA X Reader》♡ Kakyoin ♡

This one is fullll of love, we're gonna call him Nori because you're Y/N Kakyoin ;)
You sit in front of your vanity. Tonight, it's B/F's birthday, so you're going to a nightclub to celebrate. You went with a classy black outfit with heels, (desired makeup), and a thin, gold necklace with a heart locket as its charm.
You pick up the necklace from your jewelry box, and try to put it around your neck. You struggle for a bit when you open the ring.
"Come on.." You mutter.
You fail sealing the two ends. The necklace is thin and frail, so naturally it'd be hard to close.
You stand up, going to find your husband to help you. He probably can't do it either because his hands are much larger than yours.
Instead of walking around to find him, he came to you. "Hey.." he says softly. "Do you need help?"
"Yeah. How long were you watching me?" you ask, holding out the necklace.
He takes it gently. "A while. I had nothing to do."
"Creepy..." you joke and smile, locking eyes with him.
He stares back at you in awe. "Your eyes are so interesting to look at."
You raise a brow. "What do you mean? They're nothing like your violet eyes!"
He speaks in a gentle tone, "Eye colour doesn't define how interesting they are. It's what the eye holds. Terror, sadness, happiness. You can sometimes tell how a person feels by looking them straight in the eye."
"Speaking of eyes, the scars on your eyelids. You sure you don't want to ask Josuke to restore them?" You run your thumbs over the scars.
"Maybe next time we see him. I thought you liked them?"
You shrug. "Yeah, they make you look cool, but it holds a deeper meaning, like eyes. Battle scars are just daily reminders of what someone had to go through."

"Yes, Y/N. But it also shows how strong I was!" He smiles and flexes his biceps.
"My point still stands. Put the necklace on now, Nori." You turn around.
"This necklace looks familiar..." he mutters and looks at it. The initials '(First Initial) + N' are carved into the heart, and it reveals a crevasse which Nori opens.
It's a picture of you two. He's smiling as he carries you on his shoulders. Your smile is so big that your eyes aren't open, and you're posing with a peace sign.
"Recognize it?" you ask.
He can't help but stare at the picture. "Yeah. Time flies quick, doesn't it?"
"Get a move on, B/F is picking me up soon." You nudge him slightly.
"Patience, Y/N." he jokes, and brushes your hair to the side as if you were glass, ready to break at the slightest touch. You've always loved how gentle he was, no matter how bad his day was. He treated you with care, gave you attention, and never thought of laying a hand on you.
He puts the necklace around your neck. "Why don't you ever get mad at me?" you ask.
"What do you mean?" he asks.
"Whenever you have bad days, you don't shut people out like others would."
He clips the two ends and plays with your hair. "Well, you see, when you come home from a bad day at work and your wife's smile is the first thing you see, you wouldn't want to change that. It makes the stress go away. I don't try to hurt you in any way. You're precious, you know that? I'm probably rambling so I'll st-" He silenced himself after you turned around to face him. There's tears in your eyes.

"Y/N, why are you crying?" He wipes your tears with his finger.
"I don't deserve you..." you mutter in between hiccups.
He embraces you, and you put your ear to his chest. The calming beat of it makes the tears stop.
"And I don't deserve you." is all he says.
"You're right." You sniffle. "You deserve better."
He hushes you with the gentle pressure of his finger.
"You're doubting yourself after we've been married for years. I love you, Y/N. I always have."
"I love you too, Nori."
He puts one hand around your waist, the other caressing your cheek. Slowly, he leans in to kiss you, and you accept. Like magic, your doubts and insecurities just washed away. You felt nothing but love and appreciation for this man.
Maybe it's time for kids.
You pull away, remembering that B/F is supposed to be outside. "I gotta go. How do I look?"
"The same." He shrugs.
Your eyes widen. "Is my outfit bad?"
He shakes his head. "Beautiful, as always."
You get flustered. "S-stop that..."
"Let's go, then." He scoops you up and carries you bridal style to the front door, where you slip your heels on and walk off.

The 48 Laws of Power in Practice
Discover how power works in the world, through true stories and real-world applications. In the game of power, we all play - as either conscious or unconscious players. So we can't afford not to know the rules. The ** chapters have the most outrageous content. In each chapter, I will be summarizing one of the laws and how it can be applied to current events and pop culture. Some of you have told me the stories are what you enjoy the most. They are real, raw, and anonymous so that others may learn from my mistakes. There will be cringe-worthy stories of self-sabotage, but perhaps also some unlikely triumphs. Some of the details are changed to protect the innocent, (or perhaps guilty). "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene illustrates truths about power, through philosophy and lessons from three thousand years of history, which still hold true today. There is a lot to learn from each chapter. I encourage you to go on this journey with me by reflecting on how each law might apply to you. Together, may we learn from the past and take control of the future.
