《JJBA X Reader》Bruno Buccellati: Goodbye
Advertisement
Yes, another angst chapter. I DO HAVE A JOOT FLUFF PROMPT THO, I'm just finishing my drafts and posting them.
Stand name: Loving Hatred
Power: Healing, can do damage but not alot, much like Spice Girl
Special: You'll see soon ;)
You pick up the turtle and talk to Giorno, "What are you going to do with the arrow?"
"I'll keep it safe," he says.
Mista finished talking to Trish and said, "Oi, Giorno, Y/N. Let's go get Buccellati at the colosseum."
Giorno gulps and looks uneasy, which doesn't sit right with you. He just defeated the boss! You start to feel uneasy as well but surely Buccellati's fine at the colosseum.
Right?
You can hear your shoes clacking on the cold, empty ground, "He should be here somewhere," Mista says.
The walking felt like hours. Click clack, click clack. You can feel a sweat bead drip down your cheek. You turn a corner and find Bruno's body on the floor, bleeding out.
Giorno runs to him, "Buccellati!"
"H-hey, he's alive, right?" you stutter.
Mista gulps and opens Bruno's eyelid. The beautiful deep blue his irises once held were lifeless.
You gasp and place your hands on his face, "Buccellati, please wake up."
After straining your healing power, nothing happened. You start to feel yourself break down. Shaking, tears, and the feeling of your heart sinking to your stomach. All he did was protect you the moment he met you. Why couldn't you do the same when it truly mattered?
Giorno pats your back and tears fall from your face, "Hey, Y/N. Buccellati told me that he has no regrets. That he's been reborn since the moment he betrayed the Boss, and this outcome is how it should be. So it's gonna be alri-"

"You don't understand, Giorno! He picked me off the streets and punished everyone who did me wrong! He protected us regardless of the situation we were in. He didn't save you at the lowest point in your life, you simply joined him! YOU KNEW HE WAS ALREADY DEAD BEFORE WE CAME HERE!!" you snap.
He backs off, "I guess you're right, sorry. But what I said was true."
You take a deep breath, "I'm going to use it."
Mista's eyes widen, "Y/N, you're not serious, are you? You shouldn't use your special ability now, or ever!"
Giorno's confused, "What's your special?"
You duck your head down into your arms, rethinking your decision, "I can bring a person back from the dead within 24 hours of their death in exchange for my own life."
After a silence of Giorno trying to process what you just said, you're positive that you're going to bring Bruno back.
"I owe him my life because he saved mine," you say.
"Stop, Y/N! Rethink what you're doing!" Mista cries.
"Let's go back home, I have stuff to do," you declare, and bring Bruno back to the mansion.
By stuff, you mean a final letter for him when he wakes up. You sit at your new room's desk and get a paper, pen, and envelope.
Dear Bruno Buccellati,
Thank you for saving me years ago. You brought out the best in me, and without you, my potential and power would've been wasted. I enjoyed every moment I spent with you, and I have no second thoughts for doing this. It was an honour helping you become Capo, as it was a fitting role for a man with your strength and leadership. And for these things, I am truly grateful to have met you. You may not have any regrets with your death, but I would regret choosing to live without you for life. Live my legacy, and be the gold-hearted man I know you are. I love you, Bruno. Don't forget about me.

Goodbye,
Y/N L/N
You sigh and seal the envelope with wax after enclosing a piece of jewellery that was your good luck charm, as well as a picture of the two of you. You gather Giorno, Mista, and Trish and bring them to Bruno's coffin.
"I've only known you two for a week, but thank you for lending us your strength in defeating the boss. Couldn't have done it without you guys," you smile at Giorno and Trish.
You turn to Mista and hug him tight, "I'll miss hugging you like this, Mista. Thank you for being the brother I never had."
He hugs you back, "You know you don't have to do this, right?"
You shake your head, "I want to do this."
He nods and respects your decision, and you hand him the envelope to give when Bruno wakes up. You walk over to his body and put your hands on his face, "Someone catch me once I collapse, please. Goodbye, my friends," you smile softly.
You inhale sharply and your hands glow a heavenly gold. Mista catches you as you collapse lifeless, and Buccellati's chest starts moving.
He wakes up, "Why am I in a coffin? I thought I was already de-"
Mista's light sobs fill the silence that Buccellati initiated.
"H-hey, did she...?" Bruno stutters.
Giorno nods, and he immediately hops out of the coffin to pick you up, "Why, Y/N? Why would you do this to yourself?!"
Mista hands him the envelope saying, "You should read this in private. You have a room upstairs."
Bruno gulps and takes the letter, then walks to his room and grabs a letter opener. He opens the letter gently as it was the last thing you've given him. He finds the picture and your (piece of jewellery) that you always wore. Finding an empty frame, he puts the picture on it and wears the (piece of jewellery). He proceeds to read the letter, and tears fill his eyes. He lost almost everyone on his team. You, Abbacchio, Narancia, Fugo.
A tear drops onto the letter beside your signature.
"I loved you more, Y/N. Goodbye."

Resurgent [Hiatus]
Resurgent is the story of a man by the name of Marcus Diamandis and he begins his journey in an unexpected location, the skies. On the day of Armageddon, or later commonly referred to as Integration, Marcus begins his fall that hopefully preludes an eventual rise to greatness. Humanity has become stagnant in its ideals, no one quite knows what would happen if it were forced to change. Cataclysm now arrives in modern times, can we adapt, or will mankind fail its greatest test? ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Resurgent is a story that will include LitRPG and GameLit systems. Will not include any Harem elements whatsoever. This story is my first posted attempt at writing an episodic piece of literature and constructive criticism is always welcomed. The New World and The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound heavily inspired me so if you haven't read them please go give them a read!

Polly and Drake
Drake has been searching for a job as a personal guard, but wherever he turns, he is kicked out without fail. It's not that he's terrible with weapons, or inattentive. It could be because of his obvious racial heritage. Or because of Polly. With his funds dwindling, the only remaining option is to become one of the Cursed: poor souls that work for the Dragoneye Guild. In other lands, they may be called adventurers, saviors or even heroes, but not in the White Desert. Here, they are shunned and ignored. Depraved people who forsook their humanity for money and fame. With this choice, Drake may not only fall from grace, but also become one of only a few thousands capable of unearthing the secrets of ancient times. If he could get this guardsman notion out of his head. May contain gore, violence, profanity and traumatising content. Taking another shoot at this writing business. I write for fun and when I have time. There is no plan. The story may change drastically from what it starts out - or not. We'll see what happens. Currently, I'm aiming for a Slice of Life with LitRPG elements at a later time.
