"You don't know how to cook ? "Chuckled Jungkook.

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows and pulled the blankets to his chest, laying down on the bed comfortably.

His phone on the speaker right beside his pillow.

"Yeah, I don't. Why would I need to learn how to cook. I can always ask the chefs and helpers to make anything I want."

"Spoiled one, aren't you ? "

The younger scoffed.

"Do you know how to cook ? "

"No, I don't--"

"And yet you were calling me spoiled. I'm pretty sure Jimin hyung also doesn't how to cook."

"There's no need for us to learn that when we can just request someone to do it. "

"Well I don't know, I thought you would have an interest in cooking." Said the elder and leaned back on head rest of the bed.

"Why would you think that ? "

"I don't know." He shrugged.

"Well I don't have any interest in cooking. I started stepping in the kitchen when we got married."

"Oh."

"Yes."

"Do you know how to make sandwiches ?" Asked Jungkook.

"No."

"I do." The elder boasted.

"I don't think that's a thing to boast about. " Commented the younger.

Jungkook laughed.

"But I think it is."

After last night there was some tension between them but both of them tried to ignore it.

Clearly, Taehyung was not happy with Jungkook's decision to make him see a therapist but he was still going to do that just for the elder.

"Taehyung ? "

The younger hummed, a soft smile on his face. He enjoyed their conversations alot.

"It's midnight now. "

"Oh."

"Happy New Year. "

The younger closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

The development in their relationship made him feel contented.

They were getting closer day by day even if the steps they took were small.

Taehyung opened his dark orbs and stared outside the window, watching snow fall down.

He felt calm.

"Happy New Year, Jungkook."He spoke with a bright smile.

"Did you pack everything ?" Asked Mr. Kim as he entered his son's room.

"Yes Dad." He replied and zipped up his bag.

"I am going to miss you. These two weeks went by in a blink of an eye."

A sad chuckle escaped Taehyung's lips as he hugged the elder.

"You can call me whenever you want and I'll try to visit as much as I can." He tried to reassure.

Mr. Kim sighed and pulled back from the hug.

"We'll see each other soon. Your in-laws anniversary is in a week or two."

"Do you have any idea, when are they coming here ?"

The younger shook his head.

"I don't have any idea. "

The elder nodded.

"I've got their presents ready. They really sent me high priced items on my birthday."

"How long has it been since they moved to New Zealand,though ?"

"A year and half and what did you get them ?" Questioned Taehyung.

"A Ruby pendant and ear rings for your mother in law and two Armani suits for your father in law."

"They'll love it."Said the younger and smiled at the elder.

Just than younger's phone buzzed as he took it and read the message.

"Jungkook's here."

Jimin stared at his now packed bag. They are going back.

He is not ready. Mr. Kim's home gave him comfort and he's not prepared to leave it.

But he can't hide forever. He'll have to face his problems.

And for himself , he has to solve them. No matter how tough it is. It's his battle.

Two weeks without alcohol. He didn't think he could manage it.

But he did. It was a struggle but he got through. He feels miserable sometimes.

However, Taehyung is always there to lift his mood up.

He knows that the younger will not let him feel alone.

He has someone. Someone that cares about him.

This break gave their bond a chance to form.

Jimin can say that Taehyung is almost like a friend to him.

He can only hope that he is able to talk to Yoongi and get things right. It will take time for them to get over the past.

Jimin wants a new start. He will not back down.

He is not doing this for anyone. He is doing all this for himself only.

Jungkook bowed when he saw Mr. Kim and Taehyung walking towards him.

He was outside the mansion, standing beside his car, waiting for his husband and brother in law.

"Goodmorning Dad." He greeted.

"Goodmorning, Jungkook. How are you ?"

"I'm good. And you ?"

"I'm good,too."

Jungkook sneaked a glance and stared at Taehyung, who was standing a little behind the elder.

He smiled at his husband, who smiled back at him.

He was glad that Taehyung was coming back to the Jeon mansion.

Jungkook truly missed his presence.

Jimin also joined them as thier bags were placed in the car.

Mr. Kim turned to Taehyung.

The younger felt a pang in his heart. He knows that his Dad felt dejected.

He only moved forward and hugged him.

"I love you , Dad. I'll visit you soon."He murmured as the elder hugged him back.

Taehyung is worried about him but he knows that the elder will be okay.

He almost denies to leave. But he knows he can't just stay here.

"I'll miss you, Babybear." He said and pulled back only to look at his son with a fond expression.

The elder than turned to look at Jimin who was fidgeting, staring at the ground.

"Won't you give me a hug, before you go ?"

Mr. Kim streched his arms forward. Jimin looked up and smiled sadly.

He hugged the elder.

The warm embrace made him feel safe. And Jimin needed the hug.

"Fight all your demons, Jimin. You deserve to happy."He whispered so that only he could hear him.

Jimin nodded as tears gathered in his eyes and he sniffled, not allowing himself to cry.

Mr. Kim pulled back from the hug and gave him a warm smile.

He fondly patted his head.

"Take care."

Jimin nodded and hugged him once more.

Taehyung and Jungkook looked at the scene with wonder and amazement.

Both didn't know that the elder and Jimin were close.

"I'll miss you, Dad--Dad." He stuttered and Mr. Kim felt contented with the term.

The elder turned to look at Taehyung's husband.

"Take care of both my sons, Jungkook. "

"I will,Dad."

"I know you and Jimin hyung doesn't really have a good relationship but you should be there for him."

"Our ego makes us do a lot of things. We shouldn't let it get to us. "

"Do care for Jimin hyung ,too. Put your ego aside. "

Yoongi groaned out loud and rubbed his face with his palms.

Ever since the talk with his younger brother.

Jungkook's words repeated in his mind all the time. He wasn't able to focus on anything.

It was getting annoying.

Yoongi started questioning all his actions in the past.

Were they all done just to satisfy his ego ?

He couldn't handle a simple refusal.

Did he really give up too soon ?

Subconsciously he knew it all but didn't want to admit it.

Just than his phone rang and he answered it without looking at the caller.

"Hello."

"I'm free,today. Do you want to spend the night at my place ? "

"Lily ?"

"Who else ? "

Yoongi took the phone away from his ear to check the caller and scowled.

He closed his eyes, inwardly cursing himself for not checking it.

He could have simply ignored her.

"Yoongi, you there ? "

"Yeah, I'm here and no I can't. I have work." He replied, ready to hang up.

"But it's been long." She protested.

"I don't care how long has it been. Don't disturb me again." He snapped and hung up.

"Seriously,what did I even see in her." muttered Yoongi,tired.

He leaned back on the couch and stared at the ceiling of his room.

A sigh escaped his lips.

"What should I do now ? "He pondered.

Taehyung walked in their room and looked around.

Jungkook followed him behind with his hands in the front pocket of the sleek black trousers.

"I'll ask someone to get your and Jimin hyung's bags from the car." He spoke as Taehyung turned to look at him.

"Okay."The younger smiled.

Their eyes met as they stared at each other for some time.

But Taehyung broke the eye contact and turned to look at the familiar painting in their room.

"I should go and greet Jin hyung first." He said, ready to go to the elder but the elder's voice stopped him.

"Yes."

"Third room after you turn around the hallway."

"What ? "

"Jin hyung is staying there. "

"But the room is on this floor. Jin and Namjoon hyung are at first. This is second." He reminded, a frown set on his face.

"I know, Taehyung. But Jin hyung is staying there for a while." He said and younger's eyes widened as he got the context.

Their have been an argument.

"Are-are they okay ?" Asked Taehyung hesitantly.

Jungkook stared at him.

"I don't know---I honestly don't know." He sounded exhausted.

"Yeah, send me the feedbacks of the report. I'll read them personally." Said Yoongi on the phone and stared at a file in his hands.

He distracted himself from all the thoughts by working.

Soon his husband stepped in the room and he looked up sensing a presence.

Jimin also saw him but quickly avoided him.

The younger walked to the bed and laid down, trying to calm himself down.

Yoongi frowned.

That's not his usual behaviour,where is his flask of alcohol. He drinks in front of me , just to irritate me.

Thought the elder but shrugged when other person said something on the phone.

"Yeah,that one. Don't take a lot of time to send me everything." He said and ended the call.

Yoongi stood up, to leave for his work room. Because if he stays here, things are bound to get awkward.

"You're here, good." Said Jin as Taehyung bowed and smiled.

"I hope you enjoyed your time there."

"Yes, hyung. I did. It was great to spend some days with Dad."

Jin nodded.

"Mother and Father will be here in a week. And we have to prepare a lot of things."

"You know mother,she likes everything to be perfect. "

"So I expect you to start the preparations with me from tomorrow."

"Yes,hyung. "

"This week is going to be hectic. Be in your best form."

"Where is Jimin ? "

"He went to his room. "

"I'll talk the him ,too."

"We can't afford to make any mistake."

"Okay. "The younger nodded.

"You can leave now." He said and the younger left the room.

Taehyung was in his own thoughts when he entered his room.

He frowned confused.

"What are you doing here ? "

Jungkook looked up from his phone and raised his right eyebrow in question.

"What do you mean ? What am I doing here. It's my room, too." Said the elder but it was clear that the latter was teasing him.

"No, not like that."He shook his head.

"Don't you have to go to the office ? "

Jungkook chuckled.

"I took the day off."

"Why ?" He asked bemused.

"Just felt like it. And I did work overtime for few days. So I think I deserve a break." He answered.

"Okay, do you need anything ? "

"No."

"Taehyung ? "

"Yes ? "

"The weather is good, today. Do you wanna go for a walk in the garden ? It's pretty out there. "

The younger was quite taken aback with the question.

He's still not used to his new change.

"Sure." He replied.

"I would love, too."

Just than Jungkook stood stood up and walked towards him.

The elder intervened their fingers together and the younger blushed.

Soon with a smile on their faces, Jungkook guided them towards the snow covered garden.
