"I knew we were leaving early but not this early exactly." Said Taehyung as he leaned against the head rest, hand covering his mouth as a yawn escaped his lips.

Jungkook chuckled and looked at him for a second before turning his focus to look in the front as he drove through a rather empty road.

"I figured that the sooner I finish the work the more time we can have together."

It was mid April. So they could feel the warmth of the sun clearly as it started rise.

The younger rolled down his window and felt soft breeze pass through.

He breathed in and sighed in content when he was hit with the scent of nature.

They were far away from the city centre. Trees and wildlife covering both the sides of the road.

"I don't know where are we going but I have a feeling I will really like it,you know."

Jungkook nodded.

"You will actually. I am pretty confident about it."

Taehyung tilted his head to the side and turned to look at him, a teasing smile playing on his lips.

"Oh really ?"

The elder gave him a glance and couldn't help but chuckle.

"Yes."

"I will look forward to it, than."

"Please do."

Soon a comfortable silence followed in the car. Both admiring the scenery outside as they drove.

But that didn't stop them from stealing glances at each other shyly.

Taehyung didn't know what it was maybe because he woke up so early or if he felt relaxed because of the calm around him or completely entirely different but he found it really difficult to keep his eyes open.

He tried to fight it. He really did.

After a few minutes, Jungkook slowed down the car and soon they stopped.

There was a clear land right by the roadside. And he could see a few shops nearby.

The elder turned to look at him and saw his struggle.

"I have to go now and it might take some time. Why don't you take a small nap till then ?"

"Where are you going ?" The younger asked with a frown.

Jungkook chuckled.

"You see right there" He pointed to the direction of the clear land.

"Someone people are waiting for him."

And just than Taehyung noticed that there were indeed some people waiting for the elder.

"Okay."

The younger eased after knowing where he was going and nodded.

His body relaxing again.

"Go to sleep, Taehyung. I'll be just right there watching over you."

The younger could only manage to reply with an incoherent hum already lost in his dream land.

Jungkook watched him fondly for a moment taking in the precious sight which was doing something to his heart.

He made sure that the car was locked and that the younger was always in his eyesight as he got out of the car,ready for work and to finish it quickly as soon as possible.

"Wake up,my sleeping beauty."

Taehyung heard a voice as he stirred up from his sleep.

"Jungkook ?" His voice husky.

"Yes ?"

"Goodmorning, Taehyung."

"Wake up,we are here."

"Huh ?"

The younger sat up confused,his eyes blinking as he tried to make sense of his surroundings.

Jungkook laughed with adoration at the scene in front of him.

His hands reached forward and removed a few strands of hair that were covering younger's eyes.

"Your hairs are getting longer."

Taehyung smiled dizzily.

"I like it."

The elder's lips curled up with his.

"Me too."

"Do you need some water ?"Asked Jungkook.

"Please."The younger nodded,water will definitely help him wake up fully.

When they got out of the car later. Taehyung frowned when he saw long fences covering the fields and he gave Jungkook a questioning glance.

The other just smiled.

The elder streched his hand forward for him to take.

"Come on."

His lips curled up and held his hand.

The elder brought him to a small house right next to the fences.

Taehyung got more and more confused as the time passed but Jungkook only gave him a small smile.

He knocked on the door. And an older man opened the door.

Jungkook bowed to him and the younger did the same.

"Hello. I am Jeon Jungkook. I called you yesterday."

The older man's widened as he recognised him and nodded.

"Yes--yes."

He ushered them inside.

The man guided them to the back door and smiled.

"Here you go but please be careful."

Jungkook gave him a assuring smile.

"We will."

The man walked away and Taehyung turned to look at the elder.

"Where are we, Jungkook ? I'm so confused."

This time it was his turn to smile teasingly.

"You will find out soon."

"The man you just saw looks after this place with his wife."

"Oh."

"Can you close your eyes for a moment ?"

Taehyung whined. He was getting a little impatient now.

"Why Jungkook ?"

"Trust me."

The younger stared at him for a second but sighed and nodded.

"Fine."

When his eyes were closed. Jungkook pulled him towards himself and his breath hitched.

He could feel the elder breathe near him.

He was really close.

Taehyung heard the sound the door being opened as he was carefully pulled outside.

They walked quietly for a few seconds then stopped.

The elder took his hand back and walked to stand behind him.

"Jungkook ?" Said the younger,a little panicked.

But just than he felt hands settle on his shoulder.

"I am right here." He whispered right next to his ear and Taehyung had to hold himself back from making him small.

"What--?"

"Open your eyes."He heard and felt Jungkook move away.

Taehyung very slowly opened his eyes and closed them again,when he felt the rays of sun.

It took him a minute to adjust to the intensity of the light.

But when he did and saw the scene in front of him. He gasped loudly.

It was one of the most beautiful thing Taehyung ever saw.

"Wow."

The word escaped from his lips breathlessly.

The field was covered with sunflowers and they were swaying with the light breeze as they faced the sun.

They were shinning and blooming to their full potential.

It was mesmerizing.

He twirled around and wherever he looked. He could only see sunflowers.

He was standing in the middle, surrounded by the flowers.

The sun that was shining from above enhanced their beauty to another level.

He stepped forward to touch the petal of the one right next to him and smiled.

"Oh my."

"Did you like it ?"

He turned around to look at Jungkook, still shocked from the view in front of him.

"Are you serious ?"

"I love it, Jungkook."

Taehyung walked towards him and jumped in his arms to hug him.

The elder was suprised and but welcomed it.

"Thankyou for bringing me here, Jungkook."

"Thankyou so much."

His face was hidden in the elder's neck as he tightened his arms around him.

The elder did the same and grinned.

"You don't have to thank me, Taehyung."

"You never have to."

Taehyung cheeks were hurting but he couldn't help and smile.

He was walking through the fields with his hand stretched forward to touch the beautiful flower.

He couldn't believe it that Jungkook thought him and brought him to this stunning place.

The elder was walking right behind him, accompanying the younger silently as they absorbed the beauty in front of him.

Sunflowers are symbol of happiness,warmth and faith.

And Taehyung was feeling every bit of it.

"It's so beautiful here, Jungkook."

"I know right."

"How long can we stay here ?"

"For the whole day actually."

"Really ?"

"Yes."

Taehyung turned around to look at him.

His eyes filled with so many emotions.

"You are spoiling me, Jungkook."

The elder's lips curled up.

"Good."

"You deserve to be spoiled."

"For two years I was an ignorant fool."

"Didn't treat you the way I should have,made you upset and let you feel alone."

"I should have been there for you when you needed me."

"But I wasn't there."

"So let me tell you something right now,Jeon Taehyung."

"First of all I'm not doing this out of guilt."

"I'm doing this because I want to."

"I want to spoil you."

"I want to see you happy."

"And I will do it for the rest of my life."

"I never want for you to feel alone again."

Taehyung's eyes softened and tears filled in them.

"Oh, Jungkook."

"How was the food ?"

"It was really delicious."

They were back in field walking side by side after a very late lunch.

The sun had started to set and it was creating a very bewitching sight.

The sky was filled with yellow, pink, orange and red hue.

Taehyung was not ready to go away yet.

But he also had other things in mind.

"Jungkook ? "

"Yes ?"

The younger stopped walking and turned to look at him.

Jungkook did the same confused.

"Why are you doing this all for me ?"

The elder tilted his head to the side.

"What do you mean,Taehyung ?"

The younger shook his head and stepped forward, decreasing the distance between them.

"No,you told me that you're not doing this out of the guilt."

"So,why are you doing this ?"

"Why do want to make me happy ?"He asked.

Jungkook started avoiding his eyes and cleared his throat, taking few steps back.

But Taehyung didn't let him and closed the distance between them again.

"Please tell me."

"Please tell me the reason."

You could see how serious the younger was from his eyes.

"Jungkook."

The latter finally looked at him again.

"So you really want me to tell you ?"

Taehyung nodded quickly.

"Yes,I do."

"I really do."

The elder took a deep breathe to gather some courage but all that disappeared when he gazed at the eyes of younger.

"I--I--"

"Taehyung--I--"

"Yes,tell me."

"I don't know." Muttered Jungkook with defeat.

But he wasn't about to give up.

"Please."

When he saw tears fall from his eyes and how emotional he looked, it broke Jungkook.

"Okay."

"I'm doing all this because--"

" 'cause-"

"Because ? "

"I like you, Taehyung."

"I really do."

"I see our future together."

The younger gasped as he felt himself choke in disbelief.

"You do ?"

"Yes, Taehyung."

"So much,you have no idea."

Taehyung sniffled and wiped the tears from his cheek.

"Do you remember I told you that I wanted to say something to you ?"

Jungkook chest pained when the younger didn't reply to his confession.

But he didn't let it show.

"Yes, I do." The elder replied,trying to be strong.

"You asked me for a something months back."

"I did ?"

Taehyung nodded as he cried.

"You did."

"What ?"

The younger smiled despite his tears.

"I forgive you, Jeon Jungkook."

The elder gasped loudly. His chest constricting.

His eyes also filling with tears.

"I forgive you for everything you did in the past."

But he shook his head.

"No,you can't. Just because I said I like you doesn't mean that you have to forgive me."

"I can wait. Take your time."

"I am just not saying it because of that, Jungkook."

"I'm saying this because I mean it."

"I did forgive you a long time ago. I just never said it."

"If we want to make a future. We have to move on from our past."

"I am ready to leave it all behind."

"Dr. Sean also agrees with me."

"Dr.Sean ?"Questioned the elder as he wipped his tears with his sleeves.

"I started his consultation two months ago."

"Really ?"

"Yes, because I want to get better for myself and for us."

Jungkook hiccuped as more tears spilled from his dark orbs.

"You want a future with me ?"He asked softly as if he was afraid of younger's answer.

Taehyung moved forward and cupped his cheek, resting their forehead together.

"I do, Jungkook."

"Want to know why ?"

The elder nodded.

"Yes."

" 'cause I like you,too."

"So--so much."

"I feel so many emotions when I'm with you. I can't explain it. I don't know how to."

"I don't deserve this."The elder cried.

But Taehyung shook his head.

"You deserve it."

"You, Jeon Jungkook earned my forgiveness."

"I like you for who you are."

"So,yes."

"You deserve it."

Jungkook took a few breathe and stared in his eyes.

Their eyes talking for them.

"I like you, Taehyung."

The younger smiled through the tears.

"I like you, Jungkook."

It was a moment they will remember forever.

The day they confessed.

The day they expressed their true feelings for each other.

They lost each other in their gazes filled with warmth.

They don't know who made the first move.

Maybe it was Jungkook.

Maybe Taehyung.

Or both of them.

Their heart pounded in their chest as the want filled them.

They were lost in the moment and emotions--

As their lips pressed against each other's.
