《Stuck With Him: Kai Parker》7

I shut my diary, hiding it in my bedroom. I quickly showered and changed into a pair of shorts with a black tee.
Scooping my hair up into a bun, I made my way downstairs. Bonnie was, as usual, sitting at the kitchen island trying to complete the crossword.
She had been stuck on one line for weeks and I complete forgot what the answer was, despite Kai telling me it. Damon was making pancakes and dancing along with the music that blasted through the radio. The two of them still in their pyjamas.
"Morning." I said to them over the music. Damon waved and Bonnie patted the seat next to her so I sat down.
"I need to change your wardrobe, Riley." She stated, running her hand through her short dark brown hair.
I looked down at my outfit then shrugged. "Why I like my style." I defended, resting my head in my hand.
Bonnie rolled her eyes. "Come on, Riley you need a new look to yourself."
"Why?" I whined. "Who am I suppose to impress? Damon?"
Damon turned around, handing me a plate of pancakes. "Sorry, Riley you're not my type." He winked. I rolled my eyes.
"And you're not my type."
"I'm everyone's type."
"Except me."
"Whatever." He scoffed, leaning on the island while he ate.
I rolled my eyes, looking back at Bonnie. "See, I don't have to change." I said, putting a forkful of food in my mouth.
Bonnie sighed. "Fine, I'm just bored and giving you a makeover would've been fun."
I shrugged. "There's always Damon."
"Excuse me?" He asked, looking horrified.
Bonnie and I laughed at his face. "Maybe another day." I whispered.
"I heard that!"
I laughed. "Stupid vampire hearing." He winked, chewing on the food in his mouth.
"You two are the most annoying people ever." He told Bonnie and I. I shrugged and Bonnie went back to the crossword.
"How have I still not got this?" Bonnie complained, throwing the pen on the counter in frustration.
I glanced over her shoulder. "Aww...Bon-bon isn't so smart after all." Damon teased.
Bonnie glared, picking up the pen and threw it in his face. Damon ducked, just in time and I laughed. "I swear as soon as I get my magic back, Damon."
Damon rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, yeah."
When everyone finished, I cleaned up, while Damon and Bonnie got dressed. I hummed to fill the silent atmosphere.
"Boo." I jumped, feeling Kai wrap his arms around me. He chuckled, snuggling his head into my neck. "Calm down, Ri."
I rolled my eyes, continuing to wash the plates. "I'm not going to be able to do this plan of yours if you scare me to death, Malachai." He laughed, removing his arms from my waist and sat on the counter watching me. "What is it you want, Kai?" I wondered, keeping my gaze on the plate I was washing.

"Nothing really." Kai paused and shrugged. "Actually, I could do this now." He mumbled more to himself. Kai took hold of my hand. I raised my eyebrows, pulling my hand back but he was stronger.
"What are you doing?" Kai ignored me and took out a knife from his pocket. "Woah. Kai!" Again I tried to move away but failed.
"Relax." He said, slicing my palm. I hissed in pain, watching blood spill out. "What the hell, Kai?"
Kai sliced his own palm, before applying his palm on top of mine and chanting something. "All done, Ri." He said after a few moments and removed his hands from mine.
I bought my eyebrows together, I was very confused especially since my palm was no longer bleeding. The cut had healed, almost as if nothing had happened but a faint scar remained where he cut me.
"What did you do?" I asked, looking at Kai, who's hand held the same scar as mine.
Kai shoved his hands in his pockets. "Just a simple to spell to bind us together."
I raised a brow. "A what?"
"Calm down, Ri."
"Don't you tell me to calm down, Malachai." I paused and took a deep breath. "Why did you do that?"
"So those two upstairs won't try and kill me."
That made me even more confused and worried. "Why wouldn't they try and kill you?"
"Cause whatever happens to me. Happens to you." He explained, poking my chest. I slapped his hand away.
"Don't touch me." I went back to the dishes, hoping he'd leave. "Shit." I cursed, cutting my finger. It was a small cut but hurt.
"Ow." I looked at Kai, he had the same cut as me. I laughed and he scowled. "Not funny, Ri."
Shrugging, I put away the last of the plates before closing the cupboards. "You're the one who did the stupid spell."
Kai rolled his eyes, stepping close to me and grabbed me by my waist. I felt my breathing hitch while he leaned his face down to mine. He smirked.
"Am I making you uncomfortable, Ri?"
"No, Malachai." I rose a brow and brought my arms around his neck. "I'm fine."
He seemed surprised at my actions. "Alright then, what if I did this?" He lifted me onto the counter and positioned himself in between my legs.
"Then I'd do this." I reached up but before my lips touched his, I shoved him off me. I hopped off of the counter and giggled at his expression. I blew Kai a kiss before hurrying upstairs to my bedroom.
I opened my bedroom door and laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling bored. "I'm bored."
I gasped, sitting up on my bed and rested my back on the headboard.

"Riley?" I heard Bonnie say from the other end of my door. "Can I come in?"
"Yeah, sure." I called. She came inside and sat on the end of my bed.
Bonnie gave me a strange look. "Is there something wrong?"
I shook my head. "No I'm fine, what brings you here?"
"Your outfit." She crossed her arms over her chest. I sighed, rolling my eyes. "Please let me give you a makeover." Bonnie practically begged. "Only this one time."
I laughed. "You're not giving up on this are you?" She shook her head and I shrugged. "Fine." Bonnie cheered, clapping her hands and stood up.
"Come on." She pulled me up from the bed. "We need to go shopping."
I whined. "Why?"
Bonnie shook her head at me. "Your closet is just filled with shorts, leggings and white shirts." She told me, whilst she dragged me by the hand out of my room.
"Excuse me, yesterday I wore a blue tee." I argued and she rolled her eyes.
Damon was in hallway and rose a brow when he saw us. "Where are you two going?" He wondered while Bonnie led me downstairs.
Bonnie smiled. "Shopping."
I pretended to shoot myself in the head and Damon laughed. "Interesting, I'll come with."
"Just perfect." I said sarcastically, shoving Zeke on my back and putting on my shoes.
We left the house and went to the nearest store. I realised when we began to walk down the aisles that it was the same one Kai and I went to when I lost the bet. I smiled slightly to myself.
"I can't believe you're actually letting her do this." Damon told me, while Bonnie went ahead to collect clothes for me.
"Don't remind me." I huffed then shrugged. "But this way it shuts her up so its a win win." I pointed out, Damon nodded.
"Exactly you are forced into clothes you hate and I get to laugh, win win indeed." I shoved Damon's arm, while he laughed. "You're pretty strong for a human."
I smirked. "Or you're just weak for a vampire." I said, Damon scoffed.
"Please look at these." He flexed his biceps.
"I see." I paused touching his arm. "I love this shirt." I grinned. Damon rolled his eyes, dropping his arm and we started to walk again.
"I never asked, tell me if its too forward, but how did you two get here?" I wondered. Bonnie and Damon stopped in their tracks and looked at me.
My eyes widened and I held up my hands. "Please don't kill me for asking."

"So you were an anchor?" I asked to clarify after Bonnie explained to me what her and Damon went through.
Bonnie nodded, filling in my eyebrows. "I was but not anymore." She said. "That's how Damon and I got here."
"Oh." Was all I said. Bonnie put down the eyebrows pencil.
"You're really pretty, Riley." Bonnie told me as she applied my lipstick.
I smiled. "Thanks." Bonnie smiled back, before she put the lipstick away.
"And finished." Bonnie announced, I stood up and she guided to me to a full length mirror.
"Woah."
I spun around in front of the mirror and couldn't help my smile. I leaned in and looked at my makeup. "Wow."
I thought while I spun around in front of the mirror.
"So, do you like it?" Bonnie asked sounding hopeful while she stood beside me.
I nodded and looked at her. "Yeah, i actually do. Thank you." She hugged me and I hugged back.
"Great, now let's show Damon." She left out of the room. I sighed, following her. Damon was in the living room drinking Bourbon while he sat in an armchair.
"Wow." His eyebrows rose, when he noticed me. "And then she became a swan." He smirked, sipping his drink.
I scoffed, taking a seat on the sofa. "Thanks for the.." I paused. "Complement."
Damon laughed and nodded his head. "You're welcome Riley."
Before I could respond, Bonnie spoke. "Riley you did it." I glanced over my shoulder to her. She walked over to me with the newspaper in her hands.
I frowned. "Did what?"
"The line, I didn't know you were interested in crosswords." Bonnie handed me the paper and I looked to see the empty line was filled in.
Damon leaned in, sipping his drink. "Wow, I didn't know you were smart Riley."
I glared at Damon but gave Bonnie a puzzled look. "I didn't fill this in, Bonnie." I told her, giving her back the newspaper.
Bonnie expression was full of confusion much like Damon. "Did you?" She asked him.
"No." He responded, setting down his empty glass.
"Damon is too dumb." I laughed, earning a glare from him. I blew a kiss at Damon.
"Then who did?" Bonnie wondered.
I thought but never said.
"Well then if you didn't." I began. "And I didn't and Damon didn't that means....."
"There's someone else here." Damon finished, glancing at Bonnie. The both of them shocked.
"Dun....dun....dun." I joked, laughing a little. Bonnie and Damon looked at me and I stopped laughing. "Sorry, not the time."

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
