《Stuck With Him: Kai Parker》31

"Remind me again Malachai." I grinned, poking his cheek. "Who was right? I think I might have forgotten."
Kai kisses his teeth, gripping the steering wheel tighter that his hands went some what pale. "Ri...."
"I mean if you weren't right then doesn't that mean." I paused and fake laughed. "That I was right."
I laughed again. "Me, Riley, right." I poked Kai. "You, Malachai, wrong."
Kai rolled his eyes. "Okay, whatever shut up Ri."
I shook my head. "Nope." I laughed. "This is too funny, Malachai was wrong and I was-"
"Okay we get it." Kai snapped and I snorted a laugh, ruffling his hair.
"I do love to annoy you Malachai." I leaned over and kissed his cheek with a wide smile.

"What's that you've got there Riley?" Damon's voice made my eyes widen and my hands yank down my shirt that I had no idea had risen up.
Kai snorted a laugh, lifting his gaze up from his phone screen. I shot him a deadly glare to indicate 'shut up' but Kai Parker, being well Kai Parker, decided to speak.
"It's her new tattoo."
I closed my eyes for a moment to resist the urge to strangle Kai in that moment.
"New tattoo?" Bonnie asked appearing in the front room with Elena following back. My urges got the best of me and I punched Kai's arm hard while I sat beside him.
He whined and held his arm with a pout. "That really hurt Ri."
"Bite me."
He hummed. "With pleasure."
I scoffed and Damon whistled to get our attention. "I personally would like to see this new tattoo."
"Me too." Elena said, holding up her hand.
Bonnie held up her hand. "Me three."
"It's nothing." I shrugged. "I would hate to waste your time."
"It's not like going to be die from old age." Damon joked with a grin. "Come on Riley, let me see."
"Yeah, show them Ri."
I inhaled sharply and rose to my feet. "I lost a bet because someone cheated." I glared again at Kai who just blew me a kiss.
"We get it, you two are weird and make a strange amount of bets." Bonnie said. "Just show us Riley."
I whined but spun around and lifted up my shirt to let them see my new tattoo. As I expected, the three of them broke down into laughter and Kai chuckled too.
"No sex for you tonight." I whispered to him after I fixed my shirt and sat down again.
Kai raised a brow. "Sure." He sounded unconvinced. "You can't keep your hands off me."
"Watch me." I folded my arms over my chest and glanced away.
"Got any other tattoos?" Damon asked me once he calmed down.
"Of course we do."
"Oh This has got to be good." Bonnie giggled. "Let's see them."
"It's just the one but we got matching." I flashed my wrist tattoo and Kai does the same. All of them laughed again. I sighed, shaking my head.
"What's wrong with you two?" Elena asked between laughs.
"We were drunk." Kai and I said in unison. We both glanced to each other shocked at the perfect unison.
"I don't know whether to envy your interesting relationship or be happy that my life isn't that chaotic." Bonnie said with a shrug.

"I wouldn't even know what to recommend." I told her as I glanced at Kai, he sent me a wink. "Our relationship is..."
"Different." Kai finished for me and I hummed with a nod.
"Very different, isn't it Malachai."
"Indeed so Ri."

"I think you've exaggerated with layers, Ri." Kai commented once I finally made my way downstairs.
I scoffed and looked down at my many layers of clothing. I had two pairs of leggings, thick socks, a vest, long sleeved over that and a jumper with a thick winter coat. Also, a scarf, gloves and hat.
"Look, it's going to be cold in this place and I refuse to freeze my ass off."
Kai grinned and leaned in to kiss me but I covered his lips with my gloved hand. "You're not going to be touching me until I say."
He rolled his eyes and stole a kiss on my cheek anyways. I whined and slapped his arm. "You can't win against me, Ri."
"I will one day Malachai."
He snorted a laugh. "I would love to see you try."
"Well you will one day."
"Is that-"
"Romeo and Juliet can we take a pause on the declaration of hatred." Damon called, making Kai and I look at him.
"Yeah Juliet." I told Kai who rolled his eyes.
"Shut up, Romeo." He nudged me and I nudged him back whilst we walked over to the others.
"You two are so childish." Damon tutted with a shake of his head.
"It's him." I said the exact time that Kai said. "It's her."
We both looked at each other and glare. "You wouldn't think that those two are a couple sometimes." Elena commented.
"I disagree." Bonnie replied. "The chemistry between them is ridiculous."
"Plus you should hear them having sex, that is wild."
"Hello, we are still here." I told them, waving my hands to get their attention.
"How could I ever forget that Riley?" Damon flashed me a fake smile and I scoffed.
"Can we hurry this up and go now?" I whined, tugging on the collar of my jacket. "I'm going to drown in my own sweat."
"Told you, you were wearing too many layers." Kai said with a smug smile.
I frowned. "You just watch me, Malachai." I said. "I'm going to be perfectly fine in this prison world and I will laugh at your shivering body."
Kai smiled and kissed me softly. "That's so sweet of you."
"I agree with Riley." Elena said. I smiled. "Let's go."
"See, she has common sense." I stood beside Elena and she laughed.
Kai tilted his head. "You two could pass as sister."
"Now that you've mentioned that." Bonnie looked at us. "I have to admit, he's not wrong."
Elena and I looked at each other and shook our heads. "I disagree." She said.
I hummed. "With look nothing alike."
Damon just snorted a laugh, handing Bonnie the ascendant. "Whatever you two say."
"Let's just go." Elena said.
"Time to visit mama Salvatore." Kai said, rubbing his hands together before taking a hold of Bonnie's.
I stood next to Damon and Elena, as they chanted the spell together. I felt the room shudder and had to hold Damon's arm for support. In a matter of seconds, what once was the Salvatore's kitchen had changed into a scenery of snow.

I gasped with a grin of excitement.
"What's wrong, Malachai? Cold?" I teased Kai with a laugh. He rolled his eyes but rubbed his hands together to generate some more heat for himself.
"Elena and I will go find Lily, Bon-bon try not to kill him." Damon announced, looking at all of us.
"Why am I stuck with him?" Bonnie complained, glaring at Kai. He smirked, as I rolled my eyes.
"Trust me I was Stuck With Him: Kai Parker, for two years." I told her. "You get used it him." Bonnie nodded.
"I guess that's worse." She said. I laughed.
"I always loved snow." Kai told me, I nodded and let my eyes wonder around to take in every aspect of the snowy forest that surrounded us. The snow hugged everything in sight and it was a magnificent sight.
"My siblings and I used to build snowmen and have snowball fights." Kai continued. "Not to mention that I always won the fights."
I hummed. "Of course you did."
Her grinned and glanced up at the sky. Kai opened his mouth, so snow fell inside. I copied and slightly cringed at the taste of the snow on my tongue.
"Snow tastes strange." I told Kai, looking back at him. The way the snowflakes set in his hair made him even cuter than before.
"You know what tastes good?" He smirked and I scoffed.
I shoved his chest slightly. "You're nasty."
Kai chuckled. "I was referring to my lips but whatever you think of Ri." I playfully glare at him and he hummed, kissing me softly as I felt his hand reach up to cup my cheek.
I hummed into the kiss and kissed Kai back, wrapping my arms around his neck. My fingers sunk into his hair and tugged on his locks slightly which earned a small groan from Kai.
The sound of a throat being cleared caused our kiss ended. Kai and I looked back and Bonnie stared at us with her eyebrows raised. "Seriously guys." I bit my lip and hid my face in Kai's shoulder to conceal my laughs. "I'm still remember."
"I guess that's a hold for the snow sex." Kai whispered in my ear, I blushed punching his arm. He laughed, kissing my cheek.
"Sorry, Bonnie." I apologised, moving away from Kai and over to her. I smiled, hearing the snow crunch under my boots.
Suddenly something hit my arm, I gasped looking over at Kai, who held a fresh snowball in his hand, then the snow on my arm. "You're asking to lose Malachai." I said, crouching down and gathering a ball of snow.
"Ri, I never lose." He repeated with a sigh. "Don't waste your time."
I scoffed and threw my snowball at Kai and watched it hit him square on the chest. "Ha." I cheered with a grin.
Kai laughed. "That was average." He replied, chucking another snowball at me but I managed to dodge.
I cheered. "I'm going to win this Malachai." We carried on snowball fighting, until I accidentally hit Bonnie with a snowball.
It hit her on her left cheek. She gasped, spinning around to face me. I covered my mouth with my hand. "I'm sorry, Bonnie." I said, trying not to laugh.
Kai laughed. Bonnie shook her head with a small smile on her lips. She made a snowball and threw it at me, it whacked my cheek and I gasped at the sudden cold sensation.
Soon three of us, Kai, Bonnie and I had a snowball fight until we all settled for a truce.
I panted and Kai kissed me again. "I still won."
"You and I both know, I won." I smiled and he rolled his eyes.
"Whatever you say."
I glanced around and tapped my chin. "I'm going to make a snowman." I decided with a small nod.
"With what snow?" Bonnie asked me, referring to the massive gaps that the three of us made from our snowball war.
"I'll go and collect some."
"Do you need any help?" Kai offered but I shook my head.
"I'm a strong girl Malachai." I patted his chest and kissed me once more.
"My strong girl." He murmured and I hummed, kissing him again.
I walked across the landscape to find some fresh snow for my snowman. I made it into a small ball before rolling it into a greater ball.
Continuing with my actions, I rolled the snow ball back over to where the others are. I fused my eyebrows together when I realised that Kai wasn't there. "Where's Kai?" I asked, looking around for him but he wasn't in sight.
Bonnie shook her head. "He'll be here soon." She told me, just as Damon, Elena returned to us with an older woman with similar features to Damon. "Lily, meet Riley and Bonnie." Damon introduced. "Riley and Bonnie, this is Lily."
I waved, walking away from my half built snowman and looked for Kai. "Kai." I called and looked at Bonnie with worry. "Where's Kai?"
"He went to get something, he'll be back soon." Bonnie said. I bit my lip because I felt in my stomach that something wasn't right and I was getting anxious.
"Riley, we gotta go." Elena said and I looked at her as if she was insane.
"What? We can't leave." I snapped. "Kai isn't back. Kai!" I called, feeling my eyes watering because my gut feeling was growing.
"Riley, we need to leave." Bonnie said, grabbing my arm but I jerked back.
"Where is he, Bonnie?" I practically screamed as I felt tears fall down my cheeks.
"We need to go, Riley." Damon said, I bit my lip and shook my head.
"But Kai-"
"He's fine." Damon cut in. Bonnie practically dragged me back to the rest of them.
"We can't leave without him!" I cried. "Kai!"
"Riley-"
"He's my boyfriend Bonnie!" I snapped. "What did you do to him?" I had tears streaming from my eyes and Bonnie didn't respond but instead began the spell again.
I struggled to go back and look for Kai but Damon's grasp on me was tight. "Damon, let me go-"
"Ri." I heard a weak voice say, my head spun in the direction of the voice and I gasped when I saw Kai. He looked like death and he was bleeding.
I struggled but Damon refused to let me go and I felt the floor shudder again. "Kai!" I screamed just as the atmosphere changed. Damon let me go and I fell down onto my knees on the Salvatore's wooden floor.
I brought my hand to my mouth, muffling the sobs that came out as I hugged myself. "He's gone." I mumbled, crying in my hands.

A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.
