"Damon!" I screamed in frustration, punching the door repeatedly. I huffed and my punches only left indentations. I kicked the door. "Damon, open the door!"
A small slot slid opened and Damon's eyes were there. "No." He simply said, shutting the slot. I frowned, punching the door again.
I sighed and sat down on the floor, resting against the wall. "Did you wear yourself out?"
"Open the door."
"No." He said. "Oh and this might keep you company." Damon threw in my ball that I had before. I caught it but held the scowl on my face.
"Try to smile Riley."
I threw the ball at the slot but Damon closed it before it hit his face. I sighed and rested my head against the wall.
I coughed and felt my stomach flip. "Not this again." I sighed, leaning forward and puking up the black blood again.
I yelled in frustration before I threw up more onto the concrete floor. I groaned and my throat felt as if it was on fire.
"Damon!" I heard Bonnie yell from the other end of the door. I noticed her dark eyes look at me through the slot. I sent her a scowl, before I coughed up more. "What's happening to her, Damon?"
I groaned, holding my stomach and dropped onto my side. "Not again, Riley." Damon whined, sounding annoyed. "I just polished that floor."
"What's happening to her?" Bonnie asked.
"Her body has too much blood." He explained. "And this is the only way she can get rid of it."
I groaned again, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand as I laid on my side. I kept my bump in my hands.
There was a massive puddle beside me, from my vomit and it smelt of metal which made my stomach flip.
I shifted away from and laid down in a corner, letting the darkness consume me.

"Wakey, wakey, Ri." I heard a voice, I thought I'd never hear again, say. My eyes opened and locked with Kai's.
I smiled and sat up on the concrete floor as he knelt down in front of me. "How'd you get in here?"
Kai shrugged with his usual grin. "I'm everywhere, Ri."
"You know what I mean, Malachai." I replied, rolling my eyes.
Kai didn't reply but kissed me and I forgot how much I had missed that feeling of his lips on mine. I kissed him back, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Somebody is eager." Kai laughed, referring to my hand that was tugging his shirt up.
I shrugged. "It's been a while."
He grinned and kissed me softly. "I knew you couldn't resist me." Kai said. "But I need to go, Ri."

I raised a brow. "Go?" He nodded. "Go where?"
"Ri, I can't stay here in case somebody sees me." He explained and I nodded slowly. "But I'll be back don't get too upset, I'll be back."
I grinned. "You better be, Malachai."
"Have some faith in me, Ri." He winked and kissed my forehead. "I love you."
"You what?"
Kai looked at me with confusion across his face. "What Ri?"
"You just said I love you." I raised my eyebrows and shifted away from him. "This isn't real."
Kai, well fake Kai, laughed. "Ri, what are you saying? Of course I'm real."
I shook my head, laughing dryly. "No, you're not real Kai."
Kai put my hand on his chest and I felt his heartbeat. "Ri, I'm real." He touched my cheek and made me look at him. "I'm here with you."
I shook my head and snapped his neck. "Kai doesn't say, I love you."

Gasping, I sat and glared when I realised I was still trapped inside the four stoned walls. I looked around and noticed my vomit was cleared up.
"Nice try." I called out to whoever could hear me. "You actually had me for a while."
The slot opened and I knew it was Damon from the vivid eye colour. "Stupid Stefan, he just had to bring the L word."
I rolled my eyes. "Well, it didn't work so you might as well let me out of here."
"No can do, Riles." And with that he shut the slot again. I sighed and rested my head against the wall.
I played Bounce for what could have been hours. My stomach constantly reminded me that I was hungry and it made me even angrier.
After hours of me playing bounce, the slot opened. It was Damon again. "Hello Riles."
"Call me that again and I'll choke you with the ball." I spat, showing him the ball in my hand.
"Ouch, so mean."
"What do you want?"
Damon rolled his eyes, placing a small cup of blood on the slot. The scent of just the blood alone had my mouth practically watering. I hestately stood up and walked over to the cup.
I picked up the cup and scowled at Damon. "What the hell is this?"
"Call it breakfast." He grinned, before shutting the slot. I kicked the door before I sat and stared at the small portion of blood in my hand.
It was inside a shot glass and I gulped it down in one hit but the tiny amount had no effect on my hunger.
"This is so pointless!" I shouted, chucking the cup against the wall and watched it smash. "I'm so hungry." I muttered, playing Bounce again.

"Kai." I sat up from my sleep and looked around the room. A pang of disappointment hitting me when I realised I saw still alone.
I huffed, shaking my head and I pushed away the disappointment feeling allowing the numbness to overcome my body once more.
It had been a few days. I couldn't count since there wasn't a window but I gathered that Damon appeared every morning and night.
That was when I fed, he gave me the same shot glass amount of blood each time. Majority of the time I would break the glass but it only led to glass shedding on the ground.
Not to mentioned, if I wasn't spending my hours playing Bounce then I was asleep. Even then I was tormented with memories of Kai or scenarios when would come back.
Usually, there was always a fall in the scenario and I would end up snapping Kai's neck.
"Ooh, is a tear I see?" Damon cooed, peeking through the slot at me.
I glared, wiping the tear away from my cheek. I didn't realise that it fell from my eye. "Piss off."
"Well I'm guessing the memories seem to be working." He threw in a blood bag. My mouth watered at the smell and I snatched it. "This is suppose to last you the whole day so pace yourself."
I rolled my eyes, clutching the bag and tearing it open. The glorious taste of blood hitting my tongue whilst I drank.
"Woah, slow down." Damon said, I glared but stopped. "Good girl."
"Screw you." I hissed, doing up the bag again. I licked the remaining blood from my lips.
My pregnancy bump had grown in my time spent in these four walls. I looked four months instead of my original one month.
"I know you want to, Riley." Damon said. "Now hand over the blood."
"Hell no." I hissed, holding the bag tighter to myself.
"Riley, we both know you'll drink it and be puking again." He said. "Now." Damon held his hand through the slot.
I frowned and stood up, setting the bag into Damon's hand before I snapped his wrist. Damon hissed out in pain and I smirked, laughing to myself. He took his hand along the blood bag and scowled. "Just for that, no more blood for the rest of the day."
"Bite me." I hissed. I kicked the door even though it didn't do anything.
"Anytime, darling." Damon winked, closing the slot.
I yelled in frustrated, punching the wall then paused and gasped. I lifted up my hand and noticed it appear to swell and a few bones out of place.
I huffed and sat down, my broken hand healing on my lap and I sighed. I rested my head back, feeling something hit my cheek. My eyebrows fused together and hastily wiped away the tear.

"Stop!" I cried, sitting up and held my head. "Stop it, stop it, stop it!" I shook my head and tugged at my hair to make the memories stop.
"Riley?" I heard Stefan say. I looked at him through the slot.
"Make it stop." I begged, feeling tears brim in my eye.
"Make what stop?"
"The dreams, the memories!" I cried. "He's gone, Kai's gone and he's never coming back. Stop rubbing it in my face!" I sobbed into my hands.
"Finally, Damon it worked!" I heard Stefan yell before the sound of footsteps emerged.
I just sat in the corner, bawling out all of my held in emotions. All I wanted was Kai. I remember being in such pain knowing that he was gone.
"Riley." I lifted up my head and saw Stefan crouched down in front of me, his brother at the door.
"I'm sorry." I said to the two brothers. "I'm so sorry, I just miss Kai. I want him back." I hid my face in my hands with shame of my previous actions.
I had murdered innocent people, ended their lives because I couldn't face my own demons. I was a monster
I screamed to myself.
"It's okay, Riley." Stefan said, picking me up bridal style. I sobbed into his chest.
"I killed those people." The guilt was eating me alive.
"It'll get easier." Damon told me, patting my head as he walked past Stefan. He sent me a grin. "Don't worry, Riles."
"Where was I?" I wondered when Stefan entered the Salvatore's kitchen.
Stefan set me down onto my feet. "In the basement."
I rubbed my arms. "How long was I there for?"
"Almost two weeks."
"And you stink Riley." Damon added, holding his nose. I glared and he winked at me before disappearing elsewhere.
"I should probably shower."
"That would be for the best." Stefan replied. "And get some rest, you wouldn't want to miss the wedding."
I raised a brow. "What wedding?"
"Ric and Jo's wedding is tomorrow."
I nodded. "It's probably best if I don't go, Stefan."
He tilted his head. "Why?"
I chuckled. "Because I can't control myself or my hunger."
"Riley, when you were in transition you never drank from Jo, and she's a human." He reassured me, with his hand on my shoulder. "That's impressive, you only did what you did because your humanity was off."
I nodded, staring at my dirty feet. "I guess so."
"It will all be fine, Riley." Stefan said and I looked up at him. He smiled. "I'm just glad your back."
I nodded with a small smile. "It's good to be back."
