(Y/N): "That's three thousand credits, place 'em here."
The man exclaimed in surprise as I had practically won this game of Sabaac. He grunted and slammed his fist into the table, trying in some way to regain his lost sense of superiority and withholding his obvious embarrassment.
Man: "Y-you couldn't have known that m-move! You cheated!"
(Y/N): "Oh, how so?"
Man: "I... you... FINE! Take your credits! Get out of my sight!"
He cried out, leaving the table as well out of anger and hatred. I sat there nonetheless and grabbed another flask sitting at my side as I downed it whole.
Aleera: "That was pretty mischievous of you... Swindling that man out of a game you knew you'd win."
I looked at Aleera, whom was pouting while smirking behind me.
(Y/N): "He's a gangster, he runs a syndicate known as the Vindiho Front. I should know, there are wanted posters all around the bar for him."
Aleera: "And you steal from them?"
She sat down opposite of me, brushing some of her hair out of her face.
(Y/N): "And you wouldn't?"
I questioned as a counter.
Aleera: "Jedi don't steal we're bound to be honest and good-willed people."
I laughed a bit.
(Y/N): "Now that I don't not like about the Jedi. My father had fought many Jedi before. He told me that they were the most polite and straightforward people he's ever fought against."
I recollected as she nodded a bit, seeming to think up of something before she spoke again.
Aleera: "Hm, and what do you think of me as a Jedi?"
I tilted my head, placing my hand below my chin as a sign of thought.
(Y/N): "You're a kind person, yet fierce while in combat. You're willing to defend what you believe in. And you are willing to give people like me a second chance. People who you've been taught that oppose all that you are bound by code to believe. That, makes me a curious about you. Aleera Viola. Why... why did you risk the Jedi life you've always wanted... to save me?"

Aleera seemed surprised at what I had said and asked. Though she answered honestly and without hesitation.
Aleera: "You're a good person deep within, even though I sense you have the internal makings of a Sith. You're passionate, power-hungry and you seek a life with no boundaries. But I still sense a confused young boy under there, you also seek a purpose for yourself in this vast universe. In a way you are like me in some ways."
I was not surprised in the slightest, Aleera is powerful with the Force. She can sense me, like I can sense her. She knows what I desire in life, but not what I desire now.
She can't see it even if she has such potential for a great Jedi. I like her, no... I love her, she's such an amazing girl and deep within she cares about me even if the Jedi Code doesn't bound her by it. She might make a good apprentice, if she wants to be of course.
This mental barrier is holding, and holding good. (Y/N) likes me, and not in the friendly way. I see the way he looks at me. I'm not stupid. I just... feel that if I show a sign of attractiveness back, he'll start lusting after me. I'm no stranger to the Dark Side now, but I see now it's like a drug for whoever uses it. Emotions feed it, both negative and positive, if he becomes overwhelmingly passionate for me, he might lose himself in his inevitable drive to make me his.
(Y/N): "Aleera, I'm touched. Nobody has ever said anything like that for me. Honestly, thank you."
Aleera: "Not a problem, Jedi are also honest."
I responded, his warm smile made my heart beat a bit faster. But I knew I had to hold him back from this emotional drive.

???: "There they are!"
Something shouted, I turned towards the door to see whomever was pointing at us, I could see a group of hooded figures with one pointing at us their clothing made it difficult for me to see them, they all made their way towards us through the crowd.
Aleera: "(Y/N)! We gotta go!"
He turned towards the group of robotic guardians and performed a mighty Force push, knocking the hooded figures down to the floor, we both made our way through the crowd and out of the back door. (Y/N) pulled out his lightsaber as we made our way through the streets of Nal Hutta. Bumping into civilians and mercenaries alike, earning a couple of curses our way now and then.
As we made it into the clear, where almost no one was present due to the night obscuring the light-less streets we suddenly heard the metallic clatter of multiple boots as the hooded men somehow caught up to us even with us utilizing Force-speed to our advantage.
That same voice called out to us, as our eyes adjusted I could see five of them surrounding us in the dark.
(Y/N) quickly threw out his red blade, glimmering in an eerie glow in the dead of night. I saw no other option in escaping so I ignited my green blade too, our lightsabers did not intimidate the men as I had hoped though.
???: "General Grievous has ordered us to capture and return you to the Separatist Alliance capital of Raxus for traitor-ism against the Confederacy of Independent Systems!"
(Y/N): "Well you should've brought more men with you then..."
(Y/N) growled, we stood our ground back to back, as the five men began to discard their robes, revealing stone-cold mechanical parts beneath them, that's why I couldn't sense them...
they were Droids.
We both began to hear the individual sounds of electrostaffs powering up in gentle buzzes. Crimson eyes shadowed right behind the purple-colored electrical weapons as all five of them began to spin slowly, but quickly speeding up in mere seconds.
(Y/N): "Magnaguards!"
(Y/N) hissed, as the five of them began to box us in.
Magnaguard: "Surrender or suffer."
One of them spoke in a mechanical tone.
(Y/N): "I could say the same with you!"
He roared, leaping up behind the occupied Magnaguard and slicing the mechanical warrior in half down the middle. He entered a sloppy Form III stance as two of the remaining four closed in on him.
Aleera: "Take those two!"
I called, (Y/N) nodded quickly.
(Y/N): "We aren't trapped on this street with droids, you four are trapped here with us!"
He boasted, at the two Magnaguards focusing on him.
Magnaguard #2: "We do not fear you Jedi."
Another said, as this pair closed in on me. I entered an Ataru stance as I prepared for battle.
Aleera: "You don't have to, I'll destroy you both either way."

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
