Vader began tinkering with his arm, he felt a presence move towards him at an incredible speed.

Oobleck: Ah! Professor Skywalker! I thought I would find you here!

Vader looked up from his arm, seeing Professor Oobleck standing above him, mug in hand. Vader looked down back at his arm, continuing to repair it.

Vader: Hello Professor Oobleck, how can I help you today?

Oobleck: Well, I have several questions about your weapon, but now that I have several questions about your arm as well!

Vader: Very well, do what you want with it. Just be careful not to touch anything with the blade.

Vader unclipped his lightsaber and held it in his organic hand. Then floated it up into the air, Oobleck snatched it out of the air, examining it, then powering it on.

Oobleck: Fascinating! The power source it would take for this to work would be -

Vader: Not from this world, I know.

Oobleck: Very well then, I must examine it!

Vader: Wait no - !

Oobleck sped off with Vader's lightsaber, he cursed to himself and followed suit.

Vader walked out in the courtyard, a few students saying he ran this way. He looked around till his eyes fell on Pyrrha sitting alone on the bench, him sensing her negative emotions.

Vader: Ms. Nikos, is something wrong?

Pyrrha jumped, not hearing him until recently, she sighed in response.

Pyrrha: No, Professor, I'm fine.

Vader: I can sense your emotions, young one, if there is something wrong, you can speak to me about it.

Vader said sitting next to her on the bench.

Pyrrha: I-I well... (sighs) Tell me, professor, do you believe in destiny?

Vader thought this over, destiny, his destiny was to balance the force. He eventually did do that, even though he unbalanced it first.

Vader: Yes, Ms. Nikos, I do.

Pyrrha: Well... my destiny, is that I'm supposed to be this great huntress, a prodigy of my generation, the chosen one if you will.

Vader turned his head to look at her when she said this.

Pyrrha: When I began training as a huntress, I excelled with combat, immediately gaining popularity and fame. Then I began to compete at the mistral tournament, I was the youngest huntress in training every to win, and I was only 14 years old.

Pyrrha: My fame only began to rise after that, I won 3 other tournaments, effectively making me a national celebrity. I guest stared everywhere, became a mascot for a cereal brand, but I was missing one thing, actual friends.

She sniffled at this, her eyes beginning to water.

Pyrrha: People loved claiming they were my friends, saying that they knew the great Pyrrha Nikos. Whenever I tried to interact with people my age or my peers, people would see past me and only look at my accomplishments and not who I actually was. Whenever I would meet new people they would treat me as this sort of goddess, and never consider anything else.

Tears began falling down Pyrrha's face, Vader just sat there, listening to her troubles, waiting for her to calm down, before speaking.

Vader: At the academy I went to, there was a prophecy of a great warrior who would... bring peace to a great war that hadn't even happened yet.

Pyrrha: It sounds like that person was under a lot of pressure.

Vader: I was, (Pyrrha turned her head to Vader) and there was an incredible amount of pressure on my shoulders, many people doubted that I was the chosen one. But as years passed, the pressure only began increasing as it became clear that I was that great warrior. And I was only to focus on my studies, and nothing else. Friends were scarce, as they resented me for all the special treatment I would recieve.

Pyrrha: What did you do to get through it?

Vader thought back, how he became great friends with Obi-wan, Ahsoka, Padme, the clones, C-3P0, and R2-D2. How he always felt happiest when around them.

Vader: Stick with the friends you do have, and help them when they're down, for when you are experiencing the feeling you are feeling now, they'll be there for you.

Pyrrha: A-And, what if you feel something more with one of your friends?

Vader: (Smiling) It's Jaune, isn't it?

Pyrrha's face immediately reddened at his comment, to which he chuckled.

Vader: Remember, I can sense emotions, it was blatantly obvious when we were in class. But to answer your question, slowly let on that you like them, and hopefully, they'll share the same feelings.

Pyrrha smiled at him, she stood from the bench and bowed at Vader.

Pyrrha: Thank you, Professor.

Vader: It is nothing young one if you have anything else to talk about. Please, come visit me in my classroom.

Pyrrha walked away, Vader smiled to himself and stood, remembering that Oobleck stole his weapon.

Vader: (sighs) Oobleck, where are you?

Oobleck was currently fascinated by the weapon he held in his hand, examining it with great interest. He had turned it on several times, and swung it around, feeling the power behind the blade. He once accidentally swung it at a chair, easily slicing it in half, after that Oobleck decided to keep it powered off.

Oobleck tried to find the power source of the weapon but found it was deep inside the weapon and wouldn't be easily discovered.

Oobleck then felt a pulling sensation o the lightsaber, it launched out of his hand and flew towards the door.

He watched as the lightsaber was caught by a figure who he couldn't see due to the lack of light.

Vader: Oobleck, I do not mind you observing my weapon. But if you take it again, you will learn firsthand what happened to my arm.

Oobleck immediately quieted, understanding the threat as Vader stepped out of the shadows. revealing his mechno-arm.

Vader: Choose your actions very carefully, professor.

With that Vader turned and left the classroom.

Vader sat at his desk tinkering with his mask, making it where the mask could transform into just the faceplate and could tuck it in a side pouch. He got the idea from Jaune's shield.

Vader continued to tinker until he heard voices outside his room, there were several, and Vader recognized the emotions of the four girls, they were all nervous.

Vader got up and walked towards his door, hearing the voices clearly now.

Weiss: I just don't think we should bring a teacher into this!

Ruby: Well, I think we should! Blake said she had met Professor Skywalker before, and maybe he could hel - !

Ruby was cut off as Vader opened the door, making the three girls back up in shock.

Vader: You girls are incredibly loud, now, what about Blake?

Vader: Ah, so she disappeared after your argument.

Vader said to Weiss as he and the rest of team RWBY walked down the streets of Vale.

Weiss: W-Well yes. She was defending the atrocious white fang when she snapped and ran away.

Vader: Well, she does have her reasons.

Yang: What does that mean?

Vader: It is not my secret to tell, let's focus on finding Blake first.

???: Salutations!!

Vader turned around quickly, resting a hand on his lightsaber, the rest of the girl's reactions were shock as they hid behind him.

Ruby: Gah! Penny!! Where did you come from!?

Vader: Girls...

Weiss, Ruby, and Yang slowly moved out from behind him.

Penny: Ruby, you've never introduced me to your father!

Ruby: Wha-?! He's not my Dad!

Penny got close to Vader, before speaking again.

Penny: Ah forgive me! You two look nothing like each other! Now let me properly introduce myself! I'm Penny, a friend of Ruby's - and any friend of hers is a friend of mine!

She grabbed onto Vader's prosthetic arm and shook it eagerly, before examining the arm.

Penny: Oh! Interesting!

Vader: (moves his hand away) It is nice to meet you, Penny.

Penny: Likewise! What are you all doing today?

Vader: We are looking for one of my students, and one of their friends.

Penny: Mm... Oh! You mean the Faunus girl!

Vader: (sighs)

Ruby: Wait, how did you know that, both of you?

Penny: Uh, the cat ears?

Yang: What cat ears? She wears a... bow...

Ruby: (whispers) She does like Tuna a lot.

Vader: Well... I was going to let Blake tell you this, but she is a cat Faunus.

The group looked between Vader and Penny with shocked expressions

Penny: So, where is she?

Ruby: We don't know, she's been missing since Friday.

Vader: Wait... Since Friday? You failed to mention that.

Penny: (gasp) That's terrible! Well, don't worry Ruby, my friend! I won't rest until we find your teammate!

Ruby: Uh, that's really nice of you Penny, uh, but we're-we're okay. Really. Right guys?

Ruby turned over to her teammates and teacher only to see they were gone, a tumbleweed blowing where they were.

Penny: It sure is windy today.

-Timeskip-

The three walked out of a store, Yang thanking the store clerk as they exited.

Yang: (scoffs) This is hopeless. You don't really care if we find her, do you?

Vader: Yang -

Weiss: Don't be stupid, of course, I do. I'm just afraid of what she'll say when we find her. The innocent never run Yang.

Vader: That's a lie.

Weiss stared at Vader, who returned the stare with a blank face.

Vader: I'm going to find Ruby, alright? I will see if she's had any luck, keep an eye on each other.

Yang: You can count on me!

-Back with Ruby and Penny-

Penny: So, Blake is your friend?

Ruby: (sighs) Yes Penny.

Penny: And you're mad at her?

Ruby: Yes! W-well, I'm not, Weiss is.

Penny: is she friends with Blake?

Ruby: Well that's kind of up in the air right now.

Penny: But why?!

Ruby: (sighs) Well you see, Blake might not be who we though she was.

Penny: (gasps) Is she a man?!

Ruby: No-no. Penny, she's not - I don't know what she is. She didn't exactly talk to us before running off.

Penny: I don't have a lot of friends, but if I did, I would want them to talk to me about things.

Ruby looked away sadly, they continued to walk down the street.

Ruby: Me too...

Just then, while turning a corner, Ruby bumped into Vader knocking her over.

Ruby: Whoa!

Vader: Ah, I've found you.

Ruby: Professor? Where'd you come from?

Vader: I have been looking everywhere for you. Have you found anything?

Ruby just silently shook her head.

Vader: I see... that is most unfortunate.

Penny: But the hunt rages on!

She said enthusiastically, making Vader smile.

Vader: I wished we had some form of clue...

An explosion went off in the distance, making everyone look towards the docks.

Ruby: that's a good one!

Vader: indeed, Penny, stay her I don't want you getting hurt.

Penny: but - !

Penny was cut off, as Ruby grabbed Vader's hand, using her semblance shot towards the docks.

When they arrived Vader took his face plate out of his pouch, holding it to his face, his helmet formed around his head concealing his identity.

They rounded the corner, seeing a man in bowler cap pointing his cane at a monkey Faunus.

Ruby: oh not you again!

Bowler hat: Ah, Red! Great to see you again!

Vader: Ruby care to explain to me who this man is?

Roman: Roman Torchwick, at your service!

Roman said turning his cane at Vader and Ruby, he fired it sending an explosive at them, Ruby covered her face but the explosion never happened.

Ruby uncovered her face to see Vader with his arm extended, stopping the explosive from exploding.

Vader: (Grunting) Ruby... Move!

With that Vader sent the explosive back at a very surprised Roman who ducked out of the way.

Penny: Ruby? Are these your friends?

Ruby: Penny?! What are you doing here?!

Vader paid no attention to them, as he made his way over to Torchwick.

Roman: Who are you exactly?

Vader: I am Vader

Vader ignited his purple lightsaber, Roman Squinted his eyes at him before they widened in realization.

Vader: Ah, you've heard of me before haven't you?

Roman tried firing his cane at Vader only for him to slice it in two with his lightsaber.

Roman: (examining his now broken cane) Ah, fuck.

Vader turned slightly when he heard Penny.

Penny: Don't worry Ruby, I'm combat ready!

With that several blades flew out of her back, launching herself off the rooftop and easily knocking around a few white fang members.

A trio of airships flew towards their location, firing their guns, Penny only deflected the bullets.

Vader turned back only when he felt another presence getting incredibly close. He saw a girl with pink and brown hair help Roman off the ground, Vader extended his hand freezing the girl.

Vader: Scum. Using children as your servants.

Vader rushed forward to swipe at the girl, only to find it was a fake, cursing, he realized Roman used that to escape.

Turning back around he saw, the three airships had been destroyed by Penny, but one had snuck up behind her. Calling on his rage, Vader unleashed a barrage of lightning. Shorting out the airship and making it explode. With that Vader lept over to Penny's side.

Vader: I did not know you could do that.

Penny: I'm always combat-ready!

Vader smiled, before seeing team RWBY reunite. Making his way over there, he retracted his mask and put it in a pouch. Blake's ears twitched when she heard him approaching.

Blake: Ah, Professor - !

Vader: Young lady, you disappeared off school grounds, I was very concerned for your safety.

Blake: Ah... Well...

Vader: I'm just glad you're alright. (looking at Sun) But I think we have yet to meet.

Sun: Uh, hi! I'm Sun! (extended his hand)

Vader: Professor Skywalker.

The police sirens inched closer as the scene slowly pans to the night sky, and back down again to the pair sitting down together. They all looked over to see Yang and Weiss making their way towards all of them. Ruby quickly getting up and making her way towards Weiss.

Ruby: Look Weiss it's not what you think she explained the whole thing you see she doesn't actually wear a bow she has kitty ears and they're actually kinda cute.

Weiss passed by Ruby and instead made her way towards Blake.

Blake: Weiss. I want you to know I'm no longer associated with the white fang. Back when I was with -

Weiss: Stop. Do you have any idea how long we've been searching for you? Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours I've decided...

Everyone exchanged worried glances with each other.

Weiss: ...I don't care!

Blake: You don't care?

Weiss: You said you're not one of them anymore, right?

Blake: No, not since -

Weiss: Upupupup! I don't wanna hear it. All I want to know is that the next time something big comes up you'll come to your teammates, and not some...

They both looked over to Sun.

Weiss: Someone else.

Blake wiped a tear from her eye, looking at all of her teammates and her teacher.

Blake: Of course.

Ruby: Yeah! Team RWBY is back together!

They all exchanged a group hug, Weiss staring at Sun.

Weiss: I still don't know what to think about you.

Vader watched the group with a smile on his face, before turning around.

Vader: Where's Penny?

Ruby: I could've sworn she was right here.

Vader watched as a limo pulled around the corner and drove down the street, sensing Penny inside the car. He watched it pull it out of view.

Vader: I'm sure she's fine. Now... girls, it is late, and we should get back to the academy.

RWBY: Yes, sir.

Blake: I hope I'll see you around Sun.

Sun: You too Blake.

Blake waved at Sun who eagerly waved back before walking away.

-Timeskip-

Blake sat on her bed reading a book before Weiss asked her a question.

Weiss: Blake... How do you know Professor Skywalker? He eagerly agreed to help as if he knew you from before.

The rest of the team stared at Blake, she sighed and closed her book.

Blake: Well... back when I was with the white fang, Professor Skywalker raided a base owned by the white fang after they had captured some villagers. After destroying it singlehandedly, the leader of the white fang tracked him down and tried to attack him again. It didn't go well and I confronted the leader, to which he responded with violence almost killing me. I would have died if the Professor hadn't saved me. When he defeated Taurus, he let me go which led me to enroll to become a huntress, then I met him here again.

Yang: Well... That's... certainly a very kind thing to do, how did he trust you?

Blake: He said that he saw into Taurus' mind and took pity on me.

Ruby: Well... Yang and I also met him before coming to Beacon.

They proceeded to tell the story of how Vader had crashed a Bullhead in front of their house, and how they had dinner with him before he killed a Grimm army.

Weiss: That's terrible... he lost so many people he cared about... Do you think why he likes teaching because it reminds him of the people he lost?

The team fell silent, all feeling pity for their professor, before going to bed.
