As Jadek awoke he felt a burning pain down his back and his vision was blurred. He was beginning to recollect what had happened as he heard a familiar voice. "Jadek...Jadek! Are you ok?".

He turned an seen Na-Um Tay and Lun-Der Oss. They were the two Jedi knights sent to Volik two find the mask of Darth Nihilus. Master Na was his old mentor. Jedi Lun was his new Apprentice. It was strange to see a Zabrak mentoring a twi'lek. Lun was a strange Twi'lek by normal standards. She was a rare, red skinned being with black tribal tattoos covering her body. Part of her culture from the tribe she came from. Jadek understood why both these Jedi were selected for this mission. Master Na was a formidable fighter and master of the force whereas Jedi Lun was a master in the art of stealth and a master hacker.

"Are you alright Jadek?" Asked Master Na.

"Thanks to the force, i believe so. It shielded me when i crashed. Where is my ship? And my droid?" He asked.

"Your droid and ship, like our own have been destroyed and scavenged for parts." Replied Lun.

"Fantastic... what is this place?' Asked Jadek.

"We are in some kind of prison it would seem. We woke up here after we crashed. And these collars seem to suppress our force powers." Explained Master Na.

"Quiet!" Shouted a tall figure at the door. He was clad in black armour and a black cloak. He wasn't part of the Empires Chosen. His armour was different and he was armed with a vibroblade. Chosen shocktroopers carried zx-11 blaster rifles.

"Who are these people?" Asked Jadek.

"We don't know" replied Lun "but they expect there to be more of us.".

"What led you here, Master Jadek?" Asked Lun.

Jadek filled them in on his story up to this point but did not mention anything about The Valley of the Dark Lords or Master Booda.

"So there is to be a war above Korriban..." said Na.

"We need to get out of here, destroy that mask, if it exists, and find a way back to the fleet" advised Na.

"They must want something otherwise we would be dead" thought Jadek to himself. Just then a door at the end of the room opened and two more figures, exactly like the one outside the cell, entered the room. "The master wants to see the prisoners in the main hall" Said one of the men.

The cell door opened and the guard motioned the prisoners up with his hand and they rose to their feet, but not by their own accord.

"They can use the force!" Said Lun. "Who are you?".

"Move!" Said the guard, ignoring her question. "One wrong move and you die" he warned.

The guards marched the three Jedi down a long corridor illuminated only by a few torches. Eventually the corridor ended and they were in a huge room, much like that of the Sith academy on Korriban. The difference being was that there was a circle in the middle of the room surrounded by stone pillars and filled with natural light from a glass dome on the roof.

Jadek surveyed the area. There were twelve guards, all armed with vibroblades. And at the top of the room was what appeared to be a throne and the man sitting on it was wearing the same armour only in red. He stood as the Jedi entered the room. He was a middle aged looking man with a huge scar down the left hand side of his face. Above his throne was a huge stone tablet inscribed with the code of the Sith. The same words he had seen before.

"Welcome!" Bellowed the Master. "I am Lord Sewto. We thirteen are the last remnants of the Sith order. Loyal to The Lord Of Hunger, Darth Nihilus. I assume that's why you are here. To destroy these sacred artefacts?" He asked as he motioned to one of his guards who revealed a small box containing the Mask of Darth Nihilus and his lightsaber. The mask did indeed exist.

"You must be aware of the power that one can wield when wearing that mask. Why are you not wearing it?" Asked Jadek, slightly confused.

"I am not worthy. One of you must be my sacrifice. To defeat a Jedi in combat will prove my worth to wear the mask" answered Lord Sewto.

"Then Test your worth against me!" Demanded Jadek. "I don't see anything here resembling the ancient Sith. All i see is a ridiculous cult." He sneered.

"You will eat those words Jedi. Let's see how you fare in battle without your reliance on the force. Without the force you Jedi are nothing! I accept your challenge and when i will feed of the force energy from your corpse!" Growled Sewto. He took a vibroblader from one of his guards and headed towards the circle in the centre of the room.

"Is this wise Jadek?" Asked Na.

"Too late to change my mind now. I guess we will find out." He replied.

"Give him a blade!" Sewto demanded of his guards. "I am eager to see if a Jedi bleeds!"

Jadek moved into the circle and one of the guards brought him a vibroblade and removed his wrist bindings. "This i söhnest combat Jedi." Said Sewto as he put on his own force suppression collar. "No force".

"Fine by me" replied Jadek. "If i win, you will give us back our weapons - of course it will be one of your guards because you will be dead!"

"All i see before me is a failure of the Jedi Order. You will die today!" Shouted Sewto as he charged towards Jadek swinging his vibroblade downwards. Jadek caught the blow and pushed Sewto back. Sewto charged again, swinging his vibroblade like he was swatting at an insect. Jadek caught each one of the blows with ease. "Is this it? Is this what represents the ancient Sith?" Jadek mocked.

"You Know nothing of the Sith!" Shouted Sewto as he lunged his blade forward at Jadek who parried it and let loose a flurry of offensive strikes of his own. Sewto met them all but not as well as Jadek. Jadek was clearly the better fighter and he knew it. He was consistently allowing Sewto to attack and mapping each one of his movements. They never changed. This gave Jadek the ability to counter Sewto and give him an opening to easily win this fight. Periodically, after each lunge, Sewto stepped back, raised his blade and struck down to the left. And as expected, Sewto lunged forward, Jadek parried the assault, Sewto stepped back, raised his arms and sliced downwards. This time instead of parrying, Jadek spun to the right and slashed his own vibroblade downwards. Sewto let out a howl of agony as his vibroblade dropped to the ground with his left hand still attached to it. Jadek kicked Sewto to the ground and pointed the blade to his neck. "Do you yield, pretender?" Questioned Jadek.

"Yes! I Yield! Take the mask!" Said Sewto as he grimaced under the pain from his wound. Jadek threw his blade to the side and turned to walk out of the circle. Sewto got back to his feet and pulled something from his robe. "Never turn your back while an enemy still breathes" he scowled as he charged towards Jadek, who still had his back turned, and ignited a purple lightsaber.

Jadek stopped as Sewto was almost on him. He raised the lightsaber to go for the killing blow but in a flash, Jadek spun round and with both hands unleashed a massive blast of force energy that sent Sewto across the circle as he slammed into one of the pillars at the far side with a bone crushing crunch. He dropped to the ground, dead. the sheer impact alone killed him.

"I win..." said Jadek.

"How?" Said one of the guards as he approached Jadek and removed his collar, as the other guards removed his companions collars and returned their weapons.

"A simple force collar cannot suppress powers if one's will is stronger that he who applied the collar". Explained Jadek.

"This is yours." Said another guard as he gave Jadek the box with the mask and saber.

"We must destroy those!" Suggested Na.

"Why? We can use the power for ourselves?" Said Jadek.

"That is not the Jedi way Jadek!" Shouted Na.

"I am no Jedi!" Jadek shouted back. "The new Jedi order has been built on lies. The new order only exists because all traces of the old ways have been destroyed, by the so called no Jedi order!"

"That's not true!" Shouted Lun.

"I have seen it. I have a holocron that will show the truth." Jadek said as he lifted the holocron from his belongings, along with his light saber. As he began to activate the holocron Master Na fired it out of his hand against a stone pillar, with the force, causing it to smash.

"Na! Why did you do that? Now we wont know if he is telling the truth!" Complained Lun.

But just then Jadek sensed something in Master Na. "You knew." jadek said quietly and angrily to Na. "You knew what the Jedi done, just like you know what they done to my parents.'

"Na, what is he talking about?" Asked Lun.

Jadek Shouted angrily "Tell her Jedi! Tell her what happened to my parents!"

"It was for your own good." Said master Na as he lowered his head, clearly ashamed of what happened.

"The Jedi wanted me when i was young but my parents refused. SO they had master Booda kill them!" He explained.

"Na?" Said Lun, not wanting to believe it.

"It's true Lun, im sorry. The Jedi needed Jadek. His power, even so young, was like nothing the order had ever seen." Explained Na.

"I mourned his parents. I grieved. His mother was my friend!" Cried Lun.

"I will take my revenge on the Jedi, just as i did on Master Booda after he was sent to assassinate me!" Revealed Jadek.

"You killed Booda?" Asked a shocked Na.

"SHe was sent to assassinate me. It was self defence." Argued Jadek.

"This is all irrelevant at this moment in time!" Shouted Na. "You will not be taking that mask!" He said as he ignited his yellow lightsaber and walked towards Jadek.

"You are going to have to kill an unarmed man" smiled Jadek.

"Then So be it" replied Booda as he stood in front of Jadek and lifted his Lightsaber ready to strike but Jadek remained completely still however some of the Sith Remnant guards moved forwards to Jadek defence but he held out his hand to stop them.

"No, i want this Jedi to have to live with the burden of murder." Said Jadek but the Zabrak was not listening as he got ready to strike and kill.

"NO!" Shouted Lun. And as she did she reached out her hand and Lord Sewto's purple lightsaber came spinning towards her. As it neared Jadek he ducked but Master Na was not so lucky as the saber cut through him and ended his life. The Saber ended up in Lun's hand as she stood and deactivated it.

"Forgive me Jadek, i had no idea." Asked Lun.

Jadek just smiled at her. He lifted his lightsaber and then took the the mask and saber of Darth Nihilus from the lockbox. He holstered the saber with his own. Jadek felt a huge surge of energy from even holding the mask. He raised it to his face and put it on. He screamed and writhed in what looked like pain. He felt energy flow through him and began to emanate a red blood-like glow as he dropped to the ground. Then it all went quiet and the glow faded.

"Jadek. Are you ok?" Asked Lun. "Jadek!" SHe shouted again.

He slowly rose to his feet. "Jadek San'Ti is no more! I am Darth Scath! Lord of Shadows!" He yelled as he ignited both red sabers. "The Jedi have attempted to trade everything from me, but alas have failed. I will destroy the scourge of the galaxy known as the Empires Chosen and i will eradicate the Jedi and the lies they have spread! Join me, and together we will be the Rebirth of the Sith. We will form a new Sith Order. People will call the Sith evil but i ask you - is it better to live on force fed lies from an oppressive order of deceivers? Or is it better to live with your heart on your sleeve?" Asked Jadek.

"The guards let out a cheer and raised their blades into the air. Clearly they were in support of Darth Scath.

Lun walked towards Scath and deactivated her purple lightsaber. SHe got down on one knee and said "it appears the Jedi are the enemy, manipulating everyone with their lies and deceit. I will suffer this no longer. You have my alliegance. I will serve you."

Scath gestured her to rise. As she did he said "You will not be my servant, you will be second, Darth Luna".

He held out his hand and she took it. As she did she felt an overwhelming surge of power flow through her. "Together, we will retake the galaxy from the pretenders and the deceivers." He said.

One of the soldiers approached him. "My Lord, do we have a plan?" He asked. "We only gave one transport ship and few weapons. Even with the mask we wont have enough to challenge our enemies."

"Indeed. We will take the transport ship to Malachor V. There lies a derelict Sith ship known as the Pathfinder. It is a Flying Fortress and houses a superweapon called the force cannon. It is capable of destroying a planet. This will be our first move" he explained.

"We will make this ship our own. then we will retake Korriban!" Said Scath.

"My Lord" said one of the guards, "we have a small armoury at the rear of the hall if you wish to wear better armour. Meanwhile we shall go prepare the ship."

"Thank you." Said Scath. He looked at Luna, "To the armoury?".

The two newly self appointed Dark Lords walked to the armoury to see if there was anything of use. Darth Scath found a suit of black, heavy Sith armour with an armoured robe. Darth Luna picked up light scout armour and a black robe. Both suited to their fighting styles. "Well, at least if we die we will die looking good" Said Luna Jokingly. They headed for the Hanger to begin their departure once the ship was ready. Their next destination... Malachor V.

"I must speak with the Queen!" Demanded Hira as he barged into the throne room.

"My Queen. Jadek and Booda have been Slain by a dark lord of the Sith, Darth Scath. I have felt it in the force. The Sith are reborn!"
