I took a seat at my desk. It felt like a long time since I had sat here.

"Ok, class. Today we are just going to be doing regular training with a partner. Find somewhere on the grounds to practice. You should at least train for an hour, but be back by lunch. The partner list is on the board. Get changed and find them. That's all." Aizawa Sensei explained.

Mr. Aizawa went back into his sleeping bag. Everyone immediately rushed to see who their partner was. I followed up in the back of the group and waited until the crowd wasn't so pushy. Once I got to the list I read through all the matchups. It seemed like Mr. Aizawa had chosen partners based off of their quirk compatibility. I got close to the bottom and finally saw who I was with. It was Todoroki.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mr. Aizawa motion for Todoroki to come over to his desk. I pretended to keep looking at the list. They started talking quietly, but I still heard them.

"I put you with y/n for a reason. The doctor said that her body still might suddenly have a Thermal Seizure. That means her body might start to reject normal temperatures and go back to expecting the heat from before. If that happens, she could get hypothermia or her condition could get worse than before. What I'm saying is, if that starts to happen then you need to get her warm again. It should pass, but bring her to the nurse afterwards. We're still not sure what the villains did, but it seems like they weakened her resistance to changes in temperature. I wouldn't be telling you this if it wasn't important, our students' safety is our top priority. That said, you're training to be a hero so put that to the test and make sure she stays safe." He explained.

Todoroki nodded. What Mr. Aizawa said really scared me. Was I that fragile now? How could I be a hero with that kind of weakness? I quickly left to go change.

When I came back out, I saw Todoroki waiting in the hallway.

"Ready?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Where do you wanna train?" I asked.

"Wherever you want." He responded.

Well that wasn't very helpful. I looked around and saw a few other groups heading off in different directions. I smiled when I saw Jiro and Kaminari together. It was clear that they both liked each other, I think that they were the only ones who didn't see it. Is that what people in class saw between me and Todoroki?

I started walking in a direction where I didn't see anyone else. We went into the forest, but stayed close to the edge.

"Is this place good?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Ok, well what do you want to practice?" I asked.

"It's been awhile since you've used your quirk. How about some simple combat to test its limits?" He suggested.

I nodded and felt my quirk activate. I could feel all the water around me, in the air, on the leaves, through a stream nearby.

"Let's do this."
