《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 42-Pushing the Limit

I dodged another close attack from Todoroki. I couldn't block his fire attacks which left me at a major disadvantage. The fire barely missed me and I felt the heat on my skin. The flames burned out as we still faced each other, Todoroki had been able to push me back a considerable amount, but I had managed to get a few hits in too. I suddenly felt a shiver rush through me.
No. Not this. Not again.
I pushed the thought aside and blamed it on all the ice around me. I sent a blast of water at Todoroki which he met with fire. I hit him again from a different angle and managed to put him back a few steps. He sent more fire at me and I had to retreat a little.
I felt another shiver but tried not to think about it too much. I continued to battle with Todoroki, but the shivers became worse and more consistent. A wave of dizziness hit me and I put my hand against the nearest large chunk of ice to steady myself. Todoroki didn't really seem to notice, and I tried to clear my head. The dizziness subsided and I kept fighting.
We were a pretty good match-up, so we both held our ground against the other. The shivers came back and so did some of the dizziness. At that point I couldn't deny something was wrong, but I still wanted to try and win. I would have to end this quickly, before the worst of the attack hit. I started to fight more aggressively, trying harder than ever. It didn't really help though. Todoroki still defended himself but the waves of nausea began to hit. I knew I couldn't last much longer.
I fought harder, using all of my strength. I managed to start pushing him back more, I gained more ground and tried to push back all the dizziness and nausea trying to overcome me. I knew Todoroki could see I was fighting even harder, though I doubt he knew why. He probably thought I just wanted to win. He fought against me, trying to gain more ground. He was dangerously close to the boundary line and I could see he was wary of it. He tried to step away from it, but I kept a steady stream of attacks going at him, using everything I had.

Violent shivers went through my body and the nausea and dizziness hit harder than ever. I had to stop to hold on to the ice for support, trying to clear my head. It barely helped, though. I think Todoroki was starting to see something was wrong. I didn't make another attack, but neither did he.
"Y/n, I can tell something's off. You need to stop." He said.
The crowd was extremely loud, so I doubt anyone heard.
"I...I can't. Not after all this. It's probably not anything...to worry about." I responded with difficulty.
"Why are you doing this? If you push yourself too hard you might have another seizure." Todoroki pointed out.
"It's fine. I'll be fine." I argued, more to reassure myself than him.
Even as I said it, I felt darkness creep into the edges of my vision.
"On second thought..." I couldn't finish the sentence.
My vision darkened, and I felt myself falling. I knew I had gone too far again, and this was the price I had to pay. I didn't really care about winning anymore, but collapsing in the middle of a battle would show the heroes I was weak. But my opinion didn't really matter in this situation.
Nothing could stop my body from shutting down once again, right onto the cold ice of the battlefield.
