Jeongguk was about to end the call, just waiting for Taehyung's answer but when all of a sudden he felt a hand around his throat momentarily choking him, he immediately looked up to see who it was and in the dark, his face wasn't visible under that hood.
He screamed because of this sudden act and was beyond terrified now.
The only thing he saw was the pair of yellow eyes staring back at him as he gasped for air and tried to push that hand away.
"Fuc-king leave―" his words came out muffled as the grip around his throat went tighter but before this stranger could choke him to death, the troll present there used it's power and threw that man on the ground.
Taking this chance, Jeongguk started running with his phone still in his hand where Taehyung was continuously calling out for him. He stopped once he was at a safe distance he ended the call and turned around to see the lighting coming from the magical powers of the trolls as they were trying to cast that stranger man in the black cape away.
Jeongguk gulped and covered himself in the invisible fabrica he had in his backpack and started running for his dear life.
The speed in which he ran was fast, well why not? When you have someone out there trying to kill you, you gotta run as fast as you can and Jeongguk wasn't any different, he ran as fast as he could manage, his feet trembling at the process but also he can't stop until he reaches his house which he did in like twenty minutes or something.
He with shaky hands pushed the windows of his room and crawled in only to find a worried, almost in tears Kim Taehyung sitting on the edge of his bed, "Jeon Jeongguk, what the fuck!"
"What are you doing here and how did you get in, Kim?" Jeongguk asked panting, his hands on his kneecaps as he bent down to catch his breath.
"That's not important. What's important is what happened that you screamed like that―" Taehyung asked and Jeongguk locked the window and then walked up to him to sit beside.
"That yellow eyed thing, he tried to kill me. Luckily the trolls were there save me, I was about to die." Jeongguk explained and sighed looking over his shoulder at the other, "Now you tell me, how did you get here so quick?"
"The door spell? That one you don't know how to use, I used it and got here," Taehyung explained and Jeongguk got it now. The spell wouldn't work if Taehyung didn't have any idea of where Jeongguk's room was or how it looked like, he needed to have an image of it in his head when he was casting the spell and him seeing and observing the blond's room when he was here before actually came handy.

"Oh right."
"Now tell me, when are you informing your mom and management about this attack. You need protection. You are in danger," Taehyung said of those in just one breath and gasped to get back the air which made the other smile, "Calm down, Kim. I get you are worried about me."
"What? Only a little bit honestly. Like I dislike you but never ever wish your death, that's cruel and I am not that," Taehyung sighed face palming himself, "You gotta tell them everything."
"And then make them all worried when they lock me up in some room with guards outside? Not up for that, that's boring." Jeongguk asked, frowning at the thought. This suspension was already killing him and he can't afford getting locked up in some room that too when he had to get to the depth of this.
He knew he was in danger, the stranger will probably again try and get to him and might even try to kill him in the process but staying in the room while this man goes and kills his father or hurt anyone else doesn't seemed like a nice option either.
"You are kidding right? You were attacked."
"I was but no I am not kidding, it's better if no one knows about this. You ain't saying this to anyone," Jeongguk insisted, throwing his arm over Taehyung's shoulder who fake gagged at the closeness.
"Leave, Jeon. I won't tell okay. Now if you die, it's all gonna be your responsibility," the older one said pushing the other who laughed, "I am okay with that."
"Are you not scared?" Taehyung asked, not believing how he was laughing as if he wasn't attacked some time ago, as if he wasn't gonna be dead by now of the trolls weren't there.
"We all gonna die one day, so what's the point in getting scared, crying over it and wasting my time, hmm?" Jeongguk questioned and Taehyung hummed agreeing, "You're right."
"Yeah I know that."
"Now tell me, was Kim Taehyung gonna cry because of me?" Jeongguk wriggled his brows and smirked at him but that earned him a punch (which wasn't that strong) from Taehyung on his face.
"The fuck―" Jeongguk asked rubbing his palm on his nose where Taehyung hit and glared at him, "I will fuck you up, Kim."
"Now that you are all right and didn't die, I will go and sleep. I am so tired." Taehyung said pulling his hand where the wound was up and then getting it down as it was paining a little.
Jeongguk noticed that and quickly got his wand from his pocket and held the other's wrist stopping him from walking away.

"A moment," Jeongguk said making him sit back on that spot again while Taehyung just rolled his eyes.
However seeing the other pushing his long sleeve up (Taehyung never wore short sleeved anything, it was always something that covered his arms) and revealed his skin, he was about to slap him but Jeongguk already had his hands up in the air, "Not trying to seduce you or anything, Kim. Just give me one moment, would you?"
"The fuck do you want―"
"A minute, shut up or I will just do something you won't like." Jeongguk said and at this Taehyung raised his brows, "Oh and what's that? Saggy balls I swear I will kill you."
Jeongguk started undressing the wound which Taehyung wanted to oppose but he didn't do anything else other than throwing a glare at him.
"Jeongguk―"
"Shush," Jeongguk interrupted getting his wand up and then murmured something under his breath and with that the older's skin which was torn apart and was in the process of healing just started to get just like how it was before the attack. The wound just disappeared and Taehyung widened his eyes when the pain sensation disappeared.
"How did you do that, it's a healing spell, what the fuck? How do you know that?" Taehyung asked, touching the area and Jeongguk cheekily grinned at this, "Magic."
"Pfft, I know that but who taught you that?"
"My mom was a healer you know that right? So when I was a child I used to always get cuts and wounds while playing and I learnt that from her when she used to fix them." Jeongguk said, a sudden nostalgia hit him for a moment as he smiled to himself.
"Hey, Jeon. Please tell me this spell and how to use it. Please. I wanna learn these healing spells but they are so difficult to apply."
"Please I feel so smart right now and I wanna keep it that way. We will have classes in future where we learn this so patience my child, patience is the key," Jeongguk joked and Taehyung didn't find it funny at all and sighed rolling his eyes, "Please, teach me that, please, please, please."
"Damn, don't look at me like that." Jeongguk said seeing that soft expression Taehyung had on his face.
"Teach me that please." Taehyung said, "I need to fix something and I need to learn that spell. Please I had been trying but that doesn't work for me."
"Well because you aren't smart like me of course. By the way what do you wanna fix though?"
"I can't tell you that."
"Whatever but what do I get if I do teach you this?"
"What do you want?"
"Okay fine, how about a kiss here huh?" Jeongguk knew what he was doing, he on purpose pointed at his lips acknowledging the fact that Taehyung would never agree and he will have another way to annoy him.
"You can't be serious!" Taehyung wanted to punch him again but he knew that won't bring him anything. Will just make things worse. He had been trying this spell for years now but nothing, he couldn't get a control over this and so, he never could apply it.
He couldn't even ask for anyone else to help him with this because the ones he knew who could do this were his friends and he needed to give explanation on why he wants to learn it so bad but with Jeongguk, it's not mandatory to explain the reason. He can just ignore him and he won't bug so why not give it a try however the offer Jeongguk presented was not something he will do.
No, never.
"Hey how hard is it, huh?" Jeongguk leaned closer and pressed his lips in a thin line suppressing the laughter inside while Taehyung scrunched his nose up in disgust.
"Just a peck okay? Do it, Kim and I will teach you." Jeongguk said finally bursting into laughter and Taehyung just wiped the drops of spit that flew and attacked his skin mumbling a,
"Disgusting."
"Oh come on."
Jeongguk pretended to close his eyes as he was peeking through his eyelids to see what the other was doing. Seeing him make a disgusted expression and shaking his head no in denial was such a satisfaction but he wasn't planning on stopping there. He wanted to play it longer.
"It will be over before you even know it." Jeongguk let out a chuckle and puckered his lips in perverse way and expected a punch but he was shocked when he watched Taehyung close his eyes and lean forward.
"You better teach me that―" Taehyung was about to what Jeongguk assumed he will never and would rather love to die instead but he also knew how it was wrong and it was basically blackmailing him which wasn't something he would do.
So, he quickly pressed his palm against the other's mouth making him kiss his hands instead and pushed him away murmuring, "What the fuck were you going to do, huh?"
"Fuck, Kim. I will teach you that but you have to just tell me why do you want to learn it so bad."

Exponential Mana Regeneration
When the Change occurred, humanity suddenly found itself with superhuman constitutions and the ability to use mana. All the government leaders had known about it beforehand and had made an announcement, so there was little strife and instead excitement to loot the dungeons that the Change had created. Kyle Anders was incredibly excited when he saw his starting skill, called Exponential Mana Regeneration, but his excitement quickly waned when he realized it was almost useless with his starting mana pool of twenty. He had nearly given up hope on being a mage when his family got him a new skill for his 18th birthday. Suddenly, with his mana pool expanded because of the skill, Kyle’s mana regeneration shot through the roof. But while humanity worked hard to loot dungeons and increase their skills and stats, Change was coming, and peace cannot last forever. The story is currently on haitus. (This story is a work in progress. As the first story that I have ever written, the beginning, especially the first ten chapters or so, needs heavy editing. I have decided to continue writing the story instead of going back and editing the beginning. I hope that despite all its flaws you will still find my story enjoyable.)

Greene's Monthly Contest
most writers don't have enough recognition. most of them only win awards based on the general aspects of a story; genre or theme, judged by the same things, not appreciating the genius behind the chapters. same awards, same results.--and we disagree with that.
