Taehyung and Jimin was now sitting with the other's and the brunet worriedly asked, "Why do you think Jeongguk was called like that? Is the mage okay?"
"I really hope he is," Hoseok said and Jimin nodded. It's been already almost half an hour since Jeongguk was called and he wasn't here, half an hour of worries and curiosity.
But when the healer again came in the classroom and this time called Taehyung's name, he couldn't worry anymore. What was happening?
"Me?" he pointed at himself and the healer nodded, "Kim Taehyung is your name right? Then yes it's you."
The whole class stared gossiping and watched him walk out making up thousands of theories and most of them were of how they must have done something and they were gonna get suspended. Belfort wasn't that much acknowledged about their truce and blooming friendship so still, they were in a that delusion that both of them were still after each other's arses.
Taehyung followed the healer who was walking really fast. He wanted to ask where they are going and why was he called but the pace of his feet as he took big steps ahead just made him shut his mouth and just walked after the other.
Once they reached the cabin where the mage was kept in for healing, the healer slowly opened the door for him and gestured him to get in.
"The mage wanted to see you,"
"The mage is awake?" Taehyung couldn't help smiling at the good news and when the healer gave him the affirmation by nodding, he smiled even more widely and immediately got in.
"Holy Pishogue, sir, you're awake," Taehyung called getting closer and noticed Jeongguk sitting on a chair beside the mage who was laying down on the bed, smiling at him now,
"Mr. Kim, come in come in," he weakly said and Taehyung just walked faster and stood in front of him, "Sir, I am so glad you are awake already, Belfort doesn't feel like Belfort without you."
"You getting an extra point for that," the mage joked and Taehyung let out a giggle before getting closer to Jeongguk who by his surprise reached out for his left hand and held on it tightly.
"Jeongguk told me how you saved us both even though you two weren't on good terms and for that I am ever grateful." he said noticing how his son was holding onto the older's hand and smiled at that before looking up at the boy.
"We are now on good terms, sir. Jeongguk is so nice and kind and I am glad to have him as my friend," Taehyung said not minding that hand around his anymore as the warmth that radiated from them was so pleasing.
"It's so great to see you two like this, I just wish your father and I solve our issues as well, I miss my old buddy to be honest, we were inseparable but now look at us," the mage sighed, remembering the good old days and Taehyung just wondered what must have happened that they were now like this.

He always wanted to ask his dad but he was too scared to do that. Keeping in mind how much his father hated talking about it that he even didn't say all the thing to his wife but it wasn't the right time.
The mage only woke up.
"Thank you for being there for my son, we both owe you," Jeon Jonhan thanked the brown haired boy who looked over at Jeongguk who smiled at him, his tear tracts still visible, of course he cried when he saw his father awake and not ossified.
Of course he cried hugging him and told him all that he missed.
"Now that the one who attacked you is under our surveillance and control and you are back, everything's alright—" Jeongguk was interrupted by his father who knitted his brows, "What? How?"
"It was Professor—" Jeongguk didn't finish his sentence when the door opened again he could hear his mother crying out her husband's name and running inside, "Oh honey, you're awake!"
"We will talk about this later, now go and let me and your mom be alone for sometime," Jonhan smiled that made the teenagers smile. Nodding and slowly walk out of the room, still hand intertwined.
Jeongguk saw his mom attacking his father with kisses on his face and laughed as he closed the door.
"See, I told you right, he will be alright, he is;" Taehyung couldn't even breath as Jeongguk pulled him tightly in a hug, "I am so happy, Tae,"
"And I am happy for you," Taehyung patted the other's back as he hugged him back with the same force, smiling to himself before burying his face in the crook of the blond's neck.
In silence, they hugged each other for a few minutes before Taehyung pulled away and leaned against the wall behind, Jeongguk just stared at him, subconsciously checking him out.
"I just wish my dad was cool like yours, the mage is awesome, he is so nice," Taehyung said looking down at his shoes that caused the other to press his lips in a thin line as he felt bad for the other, his dad was too strict with him, too unkind to him, "I just wish,"
"Oi lovely, you don't bother over that, he will be alright someday, when you become the mage," Jeongguk said and Taehyung couldn't believe his ears. Like what?
"What do you mean?"
"You are the topper, the best student and I won't even cheat to compete now. It's gonna be fair and therefore you will be the one to get points so of course you will be the mage," Jeongguk said taking a step back as he noticed how close they were to each other.
Taehyung just stared at the younger in awe who let out a chuckle and looked away because that stare was making him feel things, "Honestly, I don't want to be the mage anymore, it's like I don't care. If I become that, it's good, if I don't, it's also good. I am tired."

"I get what you're saying but don't you stop trying, you can do this, I believe in you." Jeongguk smiled and Taehyung gave him back another.
Hard to believe where they stand now, the bitterness between them was nowhere to be found and it was turned into something beautiful, something so charismatic.
"I might not be attending classes for a day or two, will be spending time with dad, I missed him," Jeongguk informed and then they both started walking ahead.
"Yeah, catch up with him and tell him about all our adventures," the brunet told the other and sighed, "I want to go home as well, it's been long since I met mom but uh you know I don't like talking to my dad because it's always about one fucking thing."
"Maybe video call her?" Jeongguk suggested.
"I did but I wanna see her in real, I miss her. Jennie is always getting home meeting her because she doesn't have that pressure on her, sometimes I am so jealous of her but also glad that she doesn't have to go through what I do," he continued to speak and once he was done, a loud sigh melted into the air and he just ruffled his hair in frustration.
They stayed quiet for some moments until they heard that voice speaking near their ears, scaring the shit out of them, "Is it true y'all dating?"
"Oh my my, Susan!" Taehyung exclaimed seeing the wandering soul as they both stopped walking and turned around to see her standing or you can say floating really close.
"Are you both dating? I heard you are;" Susan said walking through both boy's bodies just for fun and then again halted in front of them who stole glances at each other and mumbled, "No."
"That's saddening. I thought you are," she said moving pointed in the air drawing a sad face with blue smoke and that sulking expression she had on her face was just on another level.
"Who told you that?" Jeongguk asked, clearing his throat.
"No one tells me anything, I don't have friends," she blinked and sighed, her voice echoing through the hallway, "I just hear people's conversation and get the news."
"Awh Susan, I thought we were friends?" Jeongguk questioned, her smoke figure jolted up at those words as she smiled oh so widely, "Are you serious?"
"Yes, I am. You are the one I talk to when I am peeing, you're my buddy," Jeongguk laughed remembering how Susan wanders around the boy's washroom and he talks to her as he relieved himself.
"Oh Taehyung, I saw his dick too and it's big," she shamelessly informed and Taehyung just widened his eyes at her before looking down at his feet, not knowing how he will react to this information.
"Too much information and now I will think twice before unzipping my pants in the boy's washroom," Taehyung gulped, looking over at the dead girl laughing, "I already did, y'all are big big,"
"Oh my God," Taehyung was flushed red at the moment as he looked down at his feet to which Jeongguk and Susan started laughing, "This is uh; the fuck!"
"Please Susan, that's not nice of you though," Taehyung said, cheeks tinted red.
"Well humans think about things like that, I am dead and that's why I can do whatever I want and also it's just me, I am not like taking pictures and sending everyone," she folded her blue transparent arms over her chest and remembered, "Oh the day after tomorrow is my death day, it's been so many years I died."
"Oh happy death day, Susan!" Jeongguk said and the girl smiled, "Thank you, thank you."
"Are you really happy about this? Like what's holding you back? How did you die?" Taehyung asked weirded out how happy she was to be stuck here instead of being free and in the hereafter.
"I would rather not talk about it," she mumbled and Taehyung drew his bottom lip in and chewed on it murmuring a soft, "I am sorry, I shouldn't have asked that."
"Oh no, it's alright. I don't mind. It's just I am this way and don't like to talk about the past?"
"I totally get it. Sorry again."
"I am happy that the mage is awake," she said taking the conversation to a new direction and Jeongguk nodded, "Ugh, I just now hope that Moron wakes up and speak why he did that."
"You see that woman there," Susan said pointed at the woman sitting at the end of the hallway in the other side and the boys looked at her only to nod.
"That's Jessica Moreon, the professor's wife. She comes here everyday since he is kept captive and wants to see him once," she said with a monotonous tone, "Feel bad for that soul."
"And also I heard her say that this man inside can't be Moreon and he must be in some kind of danger. She is asking Belfort authority to look into it but y'know nothing can be done until whoever it is wakes up."

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
