《WANDS AND SPELLS | VKOOK ✓》31 | not the right time

"So how's classes?" Taehyung almost choked on the food he was eating when his father asked that question. Was his dad actually asking about how his classes were? Instead of how much did you get in the exam? How many spells did you learn today?
Damn.
This was pretty unexpected.
"Classes were as usual. Very tiring and also these days the teachers aren't actually taking them seriously. Always up to meetings and stuff. Probably figuring out Moreon's case...." Taehyung answered, taking some rice in his mouth.
"Moreon, he woke up?" that stern voice asked but after like years, they were having a conversation where he wasn't talking about how disappointed he was and that was actually very surprising.
"No, apparently he didn't. If he did, I would've known,"
"Of course you would. Now that Jeon Jeongguk is your good friend, you would know it."
Taehyung stopped chewing. His jaw went firm as he stole a glance at his mom sitting on the chair in front of him and Jennie just quickly drank some water.
So he knows.
Why not? He has so many links with Belfort. He gets almost all the news from there even if he isn't a part of it anymore. Just his son being a student there.
"Dad, actually...."
"He is a brat, he is a worthless stupid boy who lives this lavish life just because his father snatched that mage title from me," the man spoke letting the chopsticks remain in the bowl while he looked over at his son.
"You can never know his true motives. He might be using you, son." right you are, that sweet tone the man had been using is just for the sake of his own wishes.
He wanted Taehyung to stay away from Jeongguk and he tried using his own love for his son as a weapon. He knew how much Taehyung yearned for a regular conversation with him, a conversation where he ain't getting lectured or taunted.
"Dad he isn't how I thought he was. He is a good person and we have been friends and we shall be like that. You need to see ahead of the vision you created for yourself. Try changing your perspective, please," the man was surprised to see how Taehyung was talking and he actually didn't like it at all.

It was disrespectful to him even though it wasn't the actual case.
Taehyung just tried to tell him his point of view and whatever it was, he was old enough to choose his friends.
Taehyung was about to say something more when he felt his phone on his lap vibrate. If it was any other day when he was being lectured, he probably wouldn't check but today was different and he did check.
It was a text from his boyfriend.
baby i already miss you :(
can i come over?
Taehyung smiled at the name and also the sad face in the end. Ah shit, they just started dating and where they were supposed to be spending some time with each other for knowing more about themselves, he was stuck in here.
Instead of kissing Jeongguk, he was here talking how the blond was not a bother and was a nice person.
Taehyung's mom gave him a 'keep-it-down' look but he just sighed typing the reply.
yes come over
i miss you too :(
but don't make any noise
i will be there in five minutes
His dad just watched him do whatever he was and decided to not say anything. He just quietly ate his dinner.
The brunet quickly started getting the food inside his mouth and Jennie sitting beside him just raised one of her brows. What's up with his brother? She has to find out.
"Uhm, I am done eating. I will go to my room. I will be studying so don't call me unless it's very necessary okay?" he said that out loud looking over at his sister but it was directed to everyone though.
"The food was delicious mom, loved it." he said pulling himself to his feet and flashed a smile at the woman in her early forties before looking at his dad and bowed a little before running upstairs.
"Ah shit," he mumbled keeping his hand on his chest feeling how the heart rate just accelerated. It was running crazy and he just walked faster.
The moment he opened the door, he saw Jeon Jeongguk sitting on the edge of the bed with that cute smile which resembles a bunny and his eyes full of adoration.
"Hey," he greeted, closing the door behind him and was sure to lock it quick.

"Heya, gorgeous!" the blond stood up and walked ahead only to pull him in a tight hug, "Sorry for showing up like this but I couldn't even say goodbye to you when you left. Dad was showing me the secret chambers I told you about."
"It's fine, now you're here." Taehyung hugged back instantly and couldn't help smiling to himself when the other's hands automatically got wrapped around his waist, "By the way, you gotta show me the chambers though."
"I will," the latter replied and placed a firm kiss on the skin near Taehyung's neck that resulted in the older to close his eyes and lean more into the other's touch.
Jeongguk couldn't but hug him tighter at this gesture, his hands now on the other's back, "Can I kiss you, Tae?"
"What's the point of being my boyfriend if you can't kiss me? I mean, of course you can kiss me idiot," Taehyung pulled away grinning like an idiot and then cupped the younger's cheek only to press their lips together.
Taehyung smiled in between the kiss and not only that he giggled resulting it to discontinue. The other smiled before he again crashed their mouth together.
It was a short lived kiss and to Taehyung's disappointment, it was uh too short?
"Please don't you know how to kiss?" Taehyung asked pushing Jeongguk harshly causing him to collide with the soft mattress and what he did next made Jeongguk wonder if this moment was anything less than heaven.
The older got on his stomach and was straddling him. The one under just mumbled out a, "Damn, baby."
"Tell me don't you know how to kiss?" Taehyung asked again, starting just right into the younger male's eyes who was struggling to believe this moment.
"I know, I was just trying to take it slow―" he almost let out a whisper, slowly running his hands on Taehyung's bare thighs and legs as he was wearing shorts.
"Slow my arse, you don't need to hesitate to kiss me oh Lord! A kiss is just a kiss idiot," Taehyung smiled leaning down and pecking Jeongguk's lips.
"You like my thighs?" Taehyung shamelessly asked grabbing Jeongguk's blond hair as he pressed another kiss on his forehead.
"I love your thighs," Jeongguk gave extra emphasis on the word love and Taehyung smiled straightening his spine, "Who won't?"
"Please these are now only mine to see, yeah?" Jeongguk kept on rubbing his palms on that tan smooth skin while stealing glances at the one sitting on him.
Taehyung now reached down and kissed him on his lips. They kissed like the older wanted;; something filled with nothing but pure adoration and passion.
When they were done, he got off and excitedly crawled to the side and got something out of the nightstand drawer.
"You remember this?"
"I can't forget this, can I? I made you cry when I broke it," Jeongguk watched that wrist watch he broke year ago just to annoy Taehyung when he knew how important it was to him.
"Your dad gave it to you and I broke it, I am so sorry for this." Jeongguk sat up and apologized for the mistake he did in the past while Taehyung just smiled and ruffled the younger's hair.
"It's alright, boyfie, let's not dig into it and the only reason I showed you this is to remind how far we have come." he explained scooting closer and Jeongguk hung his head low at that.
"Hey, cheer up. Ugh it was a mistake to even bring this up," Taehyung sighed caressing the other's cheek, "Bitch, come here, it's okay now."
Taehyung hugged him from the side and Jeongguk giggled, "Yeah."
"I told my dad about us," Jeongguk said.
"What did he say?" the other managed to ask, feeling a little scared of how the mage might have reacted.
"He said I got a great choice," he informed remembering how his father was happy about them both.
"My dad doesn't even approve our friendship, so I can't imagine telling him about us dating right now." the brunet sighed resting his chin on Jeongguk's shoulder.
"It's alright. Tell him whenever it's the right time."
They stayed in comfortable silence until the door swung open.
Both of them stopped breathing for a moment.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
