《WANDS AND SPELLS | VKOOK ✓》48 | just like a spell

Jimin was walking upstairs to see his best friend but as he was about to step on the first stair, he heard his name being called out. Turning around he saw it was Min Yoongi.
"Jimin, let them talk alone. I don't think you should walk in now," the slightly shorter male spoke, his hand slowly elevating to ruffle his own hair, "Probably they need this time to sort things out."
"Uh maybe you're right," Jimin retracted his foot and smiled a little, "Never knew you could actually talk like a normal person. All I heard from you is no and short replies."
"I know I don't owe an explanation or any apology but I would say this to you, I am sorry—" the pale boy almost whispered those words and hung his head low, "Whatever I did, I didn't want to get distracted. I had a mission when I was in school and you were a distraction, a beautiful distraction to be honest."
Jimin's ears perked up at the emphasis on the last few words and now all he did was anticipate what's coming up from the other. He kinda got a hint on what's this about and what is ahead but he wanted to hear it nonetheless.
From Yoongi.
"It wasn't just you who liked me, the feeling was from this side too but that very moment, I couldn't get to you like I wanted, I couldn't know you better when I wanted, I couldn't just— I didn't mean to act rude or like some asshole back then but that was the only way to keep you away."
"No, Yoongi." Jimin didn't agree on that, "That wasn't the only way, you could have politely denied, you could have told me to stay away or say that you weren't interested but you did what? Gave mixed feelings." Jimin explained while the other kind of got that whatever he did was wrong.
"I am sorry." He simply mumbled.
"Save it, because whatever happened, I forgot about it. I have a boyfriend, a lovely giant boyfriend and I don't bother about you anymore, Min Yoongi. Let's not talk about this anymore." Jimin said, his palms together and rubbed them against each other when they started sweating a bit.

"You're right but I am sorry again."
"It's alright and we can possibly be friends in future?" Jimin questioned, a little uncertain about if that was even plausible or not but he kinda hoped that it was because like the friendly boy he was, he didn't want any bad feelings or anything.
"Maybe?"
"Guys, what are you talking behind my back, huh?" someone interrupted their conversation and they turned to the direction of sound that was on top of the staircase.
Kim Taehyung was walking down, with his father tagging behind. The boys standing down thought maybe they sorted things out but in reality, Taehyung was still mad and disappointed at his father but the timing was something he had to take in account. It wasn't the perfect one to go and argue non stop before they actually settle things.
"Nothing important," Jimin replied and held onto his bestie's hand when he walked down pulling him with him to where they were previously sitting.
"So, you good Taehyung? You ain't doing anything stupid right?" Yoongi's father asked and the brunet sighed nevertheless he nodded. He now knew how things were in the past and now how important this is for the man who lost his wife and will probably lose himself by the end of this. No, he wasn't still on the side of letting the innocents die but what can he possibly do?
He needed to wait and for that, he needed to slide this aside, for these days at least, he needs his conscience to subside a bit and focus on the main job. He needed to let the collateral damage happen.
"Yeah, you can count on me, won't do anything stupid. I promise." Taehyung assured even if this isn't what he wanted. He had to choose between thousands and only seven and he had to do this, he can't fuck it up for everyone.
"Thank you for understanding, young man but I promise we will try to do something to get to Susan's body as soon as possible. This is my promise." Haechul made a promise and the other nodded, "I trust you, Mr. Min."
The boy looked over his mother who was very quiet, like always sitting on one of the sofas and couldn't but let out the longest sigh, "Mom, we need to talk soon too. I think we have stuff to sort out, our all need to get our shit together and Jennie, does she know about any of the this?"

"No, it's better if we kept her out of this, she will panic and don't want her in any danger as well," she spoke, rubbing her thumb against the skin of her forehead.
Before anyone could utter a single word, Taehyung's phone on the round coffee table rang and he immediately got it only to see that it was Jeongguk calling.
"At this hour?" he mumbled to himself and quickly attended the call, "Jeongguk, you okay?"
"You still didn't sleep, did you?" Taehyung heard the other ask and he knew why he did that, the aliveness and freshness in his voice wasn't something that seemed like he woke up from sleep.
"No, just couldn't sleep," he said, looking over his shoulder at his father who sucked in a sharp breath, not at all happy with this but he didn't say anything rather let it be.
"As none of us sleeping, I wanted to talk to you, can I come over to your room or you could come over. Just want to see you." Jeongguk ask, his voice sounding honest and so genuine.
"I will come over, wait for me." Taehyung ended the call immediately and bent over to grab that key from the table. He was rushing back to his room when he heard his dad shouting, "Be careful with him."
Taehyung stopped in between and turned around to face the older man, "His father is a monster, not him so don't talk like that."
Using the spell, he opened his room's door that lead him to his dorm. Once he was in there, he threw the key on the bed and walked out, heading for the other's room.
He couldn't stop smiling that he will be able to see the other, he couldn't stop smiling at the fact that it was Jeongguk who wanted to meet him.
He subtly knocked on the door, getting on his toes and then back on the soles, he didn't know but he felt so happy to see the other. For a moment, he forgot what was happening around.
"Tae," Jeongguk was quick to open the door and the older could picture that he cried to himself before and the moment he pulled him in a tight hug made it clear that it wasn't just him who was missing him so much, the blond did as well and that too, a lot.
"I can't spend a day without talking to you," Jeongguk whispered, his hands around the other's waist tightening and pulling him up to hug him better.
"Neither can I baby," Taehyung smiled hugging back repeating the words, "Neither can I."
"The more I think about whatever happened, the more clearer the picture gets. There's no one's fault. We both overreacted," Jeongguk pulled him down and explained his thoughts, still hugging him tightly.
"I missed you," Taehyung mumbled, his right hand travelling up to have a grip onto those smooth blonde hair locks while the other roamed down his back.
"I missed you too." Jeongguk kissed the older's forehead and closed the door before pushing him against it, "I want you back, I want us back."
"So do I," Taehyung breathed heavily the second he caged him in between his arms and smiled leaning down to peck the older's lips.
"I want your hugs, kisses, your care your everything back and this time I promise I will not make a mistake, I believe you Jeongguk, I trust you with my all now," Taehyung cupped his cheeks and got closer.
Resting their foreheads together, he smiled when Jeongguk nodded, "And I will try to understand your point of view too, I will not take hasty decisions."
"We will talk if there's any problem but never talk about ending things, yeah?" Jeongguk went near to boop and rubbed the tip of their noses together.
Taehyung hummed and didn't know why everytime when Jeon Jeongguk holds him this close, he feels like this. Euphoric.
Everytime, he would wrap his hands around his waist, everytime he would kiss him, everytime he intertwined their hands, he felt oh so good, heavenly. Jeongguk wasn't anything less than a spell for him because he was so into it as if he was spellbound.
Jeongguk was just like a spell and Taehyung wanted it to never break.
Never.

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
