Night fell over the Pridelands, Scar was walking through the tall grass as crickets creak as he walked. Scar just walked not really care where he was going. As Scar passed Priderock, he growled. "I'm the rightful king." He said under his breath, passing it as he ducked into the grass.

Scar's ears perked and eyes widened to something that he wasn't familiar with. He walked over towards as his green eyes glowed over a small baby in a basket. "Well, What do we have here?" He asked as the baby looked at him with wide eyes out curiosity. Scar took a minute to look over his surroundings see if the baby was alone.

His eyes scanned over the basket seeing blood. "Life's not fair, isn't little one." He said to baby and they smiled up a him. "All alone in this world. No one to watch over you." Scar said moving closer to the baby, gently nudging them. The baby smiled and they put their small hands on his muzzle. "You and I have lot in common. Lost, forgotten, unloved." He said he paused as the baby's (E/C) gazed in his green ones. "Maybe, I can give something I never got." Scar said as he grabbed the basket by the handle and disappeared into the grass.
