The room was filled with the smell of rotten food and urine. The bed is unmade but there is nothing to be made in that bed for starters. There is just a thin cover that would probably do a horrible job of keeping you warm and there is a pillow that Harry can tell is probably uncomfortable from his place by the doorway. There was someone in a corner of the dark room, curled up to himself rocking slightly.
Harry was stuck. His whole body was stuck but his mind was racing. He felt like the time has slowed down and the heavy feeling in his chest would never go away.
'You fucking need to go to him, Harry. Go!' His mind finally reminded him, nudging him awake.
He snapped out of his shocked state and took a step in, ignoring the awful smell. He slowly walked to the corner, his boots making sounds against the cold concrete floor. He saw the silhouette of the person on the floor slightly shaking and a hand suddenly jerked making Harry gasp.
'Yes, this is Louis.' He felt so many emotions try to tackle him down to the cold floor and make him cry but he swallowed all of them down and sat down next to Louis. He took a shaky breath in.
"Loulou?" Harry whispered. Louis' head snapped up from where it was buried in his folded knees. Harry let out a gasp when he saw the boy.
Louis' face had tear tracks that has been made through the dirt on his face. His hair is outgrown and is blocking the view of his pretty blue eyes. His hand is jerking continuously and he's chewing on his other hand which is so dirty. There was a tiny drop of drool on his cheek just like in old days. His clothes are damp probably with urine and drool, Harry assumed.
"'azz-ie?" Louis asked to make sure that the person sitting in front of him is Harry. His attention on Harry was cut short with the giggle he let out at the way his hand jerked.
Harry wanted to cry. He felt like dying for doing this to Louis. He felt like all of this were his fault. He wanted to cry and scream, he wanted to turn back time and live all those days again just to make sure that none of this happens. He wanted to correct all these things and give Louis the happiest life.
He did the best thing he can think right now. He hugged Louis close, ignoring that his expensive clothes are getting ruined. 'LouisLouisLouis' was the only thing his mind screamed.
He glanced down at the frail and skinny boy that was in his arms, his eyes a few shades darker than before. He hesitantly ran his fingers through Louis hair as the boy was shaking from how cold the room was.
"I'm sorry, Louis. I'm so sorry. I don't know how to explain the guilt and sadness I feel. I didn't get to apologize to Jay. God, I'm sorry. Please forgive me." Harry mumbled hugging Louis closer to him.

"W'ere M-moma?" Louis asked in a teeny tiny voice that was barely audible.
That's when Harry's dam broke free. He started crying like he never has done before, tears ran down his face like a waterfall and he was sobbing uncontrollably. Louis got scared at the way Harry cried and he buried his head deeper into Harry's chest.
"N-no sad, 'azzie." Louis whispered trying to comfort Harry but it just made Harry cry more as his guilt grew more. Louis hugged Harry closer, trying to give some comfort to the older boy.
"I'm going to get you out of here, Loulou. I'm gonna get you. Yes, I'm gonna get you." Harry whispered as he rocked the younger boy, looking for comfort for both of them through his words and actions.
Louis pulled away from the hug with a sad smile. He was starting to remember that Harry left and so did his mommy. They left him here, all alone and scared.
"I a-alone 'azz-ie, ma-ma gon-e" louis said looking down.
Harry took a sharp breath in. 'This is all my fault, I should have been there for him. If I was here none of this would've happened to him.' Harry thought as he looked at the frail boy that was sat on the cold concrete floor. Harry will never ever forgive himself for letting Louis suffer in this hell of a care home. Yes, he didn't know what they did to his Louis but he knew that none of the things they did were nice things.
"Lo-ulou. I am taking you- I'm taking you home baby, okay? We- I am going to make this better. I'm gonna make this all right again." Harry said with a shaky voice as he put his hand on louis jerky hand, stroking his thumb across his knuckles.
Louis lifted his head up and he looked into Harry's eyes with so much hope. Harry's heart broke for the millionth time but this time it was much more worse than before.
His Louis was broken but even the boy himself didn't know that. He doesn't have that cheery vibe around him anymore, his eyes are dull, his skin is pale and it doesn't take a lot to say that he's underweight.
A small giggle came from the boy's mouth as he watched his hand jerk and making Harry's hand move too. Crinkles formed at the corners of his eyes as he lolled his head back with the giggle. This made Harry smile a little and bring back the memories of when Louis was the happiest kid, laughing at everything even if some laughs were reasonless and just being actually happy. This boy in front of him is so broken, not like the Louis that was 6 years ago.
"G-go 'azz-ie h-ome?" Louis asked with excitement in his voice. Harry wanted to beam back and nod just to see Louis smile again but instead he frowned knowing that he probably won't be allowed to just take Louis back home right now.
Harry let a tear slip as he choked on his words. "I-I don't know l-lou lou. I don't know if I can" Harry said letting out a long sigh. Louis face fell from a smile to a sad frown and he brought his hand back to his mouth and started chewing again.

Harry's heart broke more when he saw Louis' face falling. His eyes flashed determination all of a sudden.
"I will get you out. No matter what happens. Legally or illegally. I would do it." He said wiping a tear away from Louis' cheek. "We are gonna be fine, Loulou. We are gonna be fine." He said and hugged Louis close again. Louis sat on Harry's lap, soaking his jeans with urine but Harry didn't mind. 'Cause what matters the most is Louis and making all of this right again.
He thought about every possible way to get Louis out this instant. He suddenly remembered how he paid the lady to get in here. He felt a flash of anger run through his body but he calms himself down when he felt Louis wiggle in his arms to get as much as heat he can get. He's gonna do this for Louis.
Harry had enough money to throw around and this is all about Louis. He would do anything for his best friend. Yeah, he left Louis, true but he had his reasons. He didn't wanna talk about them back then but now he's ready to open up. He was much more stable than before and he had no fears.
'I better talk to the lady and ask her a way to do this in one day. I can't leave Louis in this place for any longer. He's broken enough. He doesn't deserve any of this.' Harry thought to himself.
He turned around with Louis still in his arms and saw the lady stiffen a little. Harry decided to play this cool since he didn't wanna get kicked out even before he gets to talk. So, he swallowed his anger down and cleared his throat. Louis giggled at the rumbling sounds he heard from his ear on Harry's chest.
"I want to get him under my care." Harry said with a stable, firm voice.
"It takes two weeks-" The lady started but she was cut short by Harry.
"Now." He said standing up with Louis on his hip. The lady looked at his face with shock and nodded quickly.
"What should I do to get him under my care?" Harry asked and the lady told him the process with the money they expect to do a two weeks process in one day. Harry wanted to throw up at how greedy these people are. Money is the only thing that they care about. They would sell anyone to anyone. They didn't care if the person who takes the role of caregiver for the disabled person was a serial killer.
Finally they settled for $100,000. There wasn't lots of paperwork since Louis is above 18 but there was one since he's a disabled person. Harry settled all these down just using his phone and money. He did this in a legal way except for the money he had to give the lady. Harry felt like he's buying Louis from a store but he pushed the thought aside. 'This is much more different.' He thought and nodded to himself for further confirmation.
"Here." Harry gave her the money she needed and the women grinned as she took the money. 'Greedy whore.' Harry rolled his eyes.
Harry glared at the women and hugged Louis closer to him. "Well, I guess I'll be taking him home now" Harry said eyeing the women. She nodded.
"But make sure to keep him safe and happy. Thank you, Mr. Styles." The lady said smiling the fakest smile at Louis.
Harry stared at her in disbelief, his mouth hanging open in a silent 'What the fuck?'. She and the other staff members of this adult's care home has been treating Louis like shit just a few hours ago, now she's telling Harry to take care of him? Oh, fucking thanks for your advice.
"This is fucking unbelievable. Are you telling me to look after him? After all you have done to him? I'm not some kind of dumb fuck to not notice how bad he has been treated here. You never looked after him. This is not a care home this a fucking hell where you treat humans like they are sinners. He has do no wrong to deserve any of this." Harry snapped. He wanted to drag the woman out of her seat and punch her but he still respected the fact that she's a woman.
"We are sorry, Mr. Styles. We thought that he didn't have anyone-" The lady was cut short again.
"So what? Do you treat people like shit when they have no one by their side? Wow. Just fucking wow. Go and rot in hell." Harry said and turned around to look at Louis who is shaking in fear. The argument was so much for him and Harry cursed a lot.
"Sh.. baby, it's okay. I was just angry. You're fine." Harry picked Louis up and placed the boy on his hip. He turned around to send one last glare at the woman and turned around. They stepped out of that awful building and Harry let out a deep breath of relief. He has no worries other than fixing Louis' broken pieces back again.
