《★Rise of the Gun Hero★》Misunderstanding?

My eyes slowly opened as I heard the sound of millions of footsteps outside our rented door.
...
Slowly getting up, I looked over at Suki who was still asleep on the bed we shared.
And for a person as loud as her, she slept quiet soundly.
I got up and went to check if Renn and Kain were up, and knocked quietly at their door.
Ren answered
"Oh hey, [Y/N]!" He whispered a bit. "Kain is kinda still sleeping, what are you doing?"
I gestured a hand for him to follow me, as I walked leaded him closer to the front door of the rented room.
"Uhh what is it [Y/N]..."
I opened the front door and there were guards around the door, walking in a hurried manner.
Both me and Renn looked at each other confused before glancing back.
As the guards were passing, we noticed that Itsuki and Ren along with their team were also walking among them.
"Hey, Ren! Itsuki!" I silently shouted over to them.
The two of them stopped and walked over to our door, their team following from behind.
"Oh, [Y/N]. We didn't expect to see you here." Itsuki spoke out.
"What's going on? Where are you guys going?" I asked him, pointing over to the guards that had passed.
"We were told about some... Incident."
"Hey [Y/N], you should come with us." Itsuki spoke over Ren (Ren with blue hair-).
"Alright, I'll go wake Kain up." Renn then left as I went to wake Suki.
"Make sure to meet us at the castle!" Itsuki yelled out to me, before walking off.
I walked into the room both me and Suki shared.
Suki had warmed up to me pretty quickly in one night, but I'm not surprised because of how extroverted she acts...

I shook Suki from the bed, but she stayed dead asleep.
"Hey Suki, we gotta go somewhere." I shook her again by the shoulder.
"Sukiii!" I scream-shouted near her ear.
"So where we going." Kain asked walking in with Renn behind him.
I sweat dropped of how stubborn she was sleeping.
"Wow, she's still asleep." Renn commented.
"Lets just leave her."
I then grabbed a bottled water from our room, and poured it on Suki's face.
She laid still, but then she got up.
"Hello..?"
"..."
"Okay Suki lets just go-"
Time Skip
Naofumi groaned in pain as he was pushed to the ground harshly by the guards that had entered the room.
I stood quietly next to my team, as I didn't believe that something like this would happen so quickly.
"Myne hey! Are you okay?" He dared say after what he had done.
Myne gasped, and then hid behind Motoyasu.
Everyone glared at him. Even I did, as I felt shame to him.
As he sat on the floor, seemingly still confused to what we were talking about. He asked the king where all his armor and money had gone.
"SILENCE YOU FILTH."
The kings words echoed across the huge room.
"...Myne, I'm sorry to ask my dear," The king spoke more quietly "But could you please mind repeating your testimony for us again."
Her breath was shaking as she stumbled on her words.
"I-It happened last night... The shield hero forced his way into my room." She shivered.
"He was stinking drunk! He then grabbed me and pinned me down!"
Naofumi hearing what Myne had said, was in complete shock.
"What are you talking about? I went straight to bed after dinner last night, and I don't drink!"

He was oblivious to what he had done.
"If you're so convinced I did it, then why don't you show some proof?!"
One knight stepped forward and kneeled in front of the king. " We found this while we were searching the shield hero's room, strained against his bed..." The knight on his knees then pulled out what seemed to be a purple small dress.
Myne gasped in fear and hid behind Motoyasu.
'This doesn't add up...'
'(Big brain moment-)'
If Naofumi were to have burst into Myne's room and taken her clothes off there, then how would her clothes have gone to Naofumi's room and been strawn across his bed as if she were assaulted there? The again this could be just a mixed around story but....
I looked back at Myne from behind her.
Could they be...
Lying?
Naofumi was also still at the building when the guards had gone to get him. Maybe saying he then left back to the room and to fall asleep in HIS room if that is where it would have happened. But if the assault really did happen in his room, then he had probably went back to sleep on the purple dress. They make it sound as if the assault had happen in his room, and if saying that-
"Hey, what you thinking about?" Suki interrupted my thoughts.
"Huh? Oh, nothing."
"You seemed to be thinking pretty hard though. C'mon lets go!"
I looked around to see that almost everyone that had been in the palace to gather were now gone.
'Damn..'

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.

Star Ocean
A space cadet crash lands onto a world unknown to him. Join his struggles as he tries to find a way home------------------------------------------------------------------------------Authors note: I decided to continue this concept. I'm not really good at writing. I just have some few ideas that I want to bring to life. Also, patience is not my virtue so I tend to overpower my characters too quickly. Please feel free to leave comments of your thoughts so that i may avoid this.
