《Dear Diary, I Have a Mate》Chapter 14

Dear Diary,
No more school!
Well for a week that is.
Ty and I kissed! I don't know what that means, but it felt magical.
He calls me beautiful. He has called me it at least fifteen times today.
The funny thing is I'm actually starting to believe it.
~Aria
"Really Ty the woods?" I asked.
He told me he had to show me something, but why does it have to be in the woods?
"Yes," he laughed.
I sighed. He then took my hand in his and we entered the forest.
"You aren't going to kill me, are you?" I teased.
"Oh yeah Ar, you got me," he smirked.
We walked in deeper when Ty stopped.
"What?" I asked.
"I have to tell you something," he whispered.
"So then why are we in the woods?" I asked.
"Just promise to listen and stay until I'm finished okay," he asked.
"Sure, I promise," I replied.
He nodded and then took a deep breath.
"The reason why I have a mate is because I am a werewolf," he stated.
I laughed.
"Ty seriously, why are you such a jerk?" I mocked.
"Aria, listen," he groaned.
"Fine," I smirked.
"I am the alpha of my pack and that means I'm in charge. Carter is my beta. He is second in command. When a werewolf finds his mate he has to be around her or he will go crazy," he replied.
"When I saw you on your first day I instantly knew that we were mates. You see I have my wolf in my head that yells at me, like right now he's sad because he thinks you are mad," he stated.
"Ty this isn't funny," I replied.
"It's not supposed to be," he replied.
"Stop," I stated while walking away from him.
"You promised you would stay," he called.
I stopped, I did promise that. I sighed and then walked back.
"So you're telling me you like me because a wolf in your head tells you to?" I asked.
"No not at all," he growled.

"Really Ty that's what you just said," I spat.
"You're my soul mate we are made for each other," he pleaded.
"You're a wolf?" I asked.
"Yes," he answered.
"Prove it," I smirked.
He shrugged and took off his shirt. I snorted. Then instead of Ty standing there a black as night wolf was starring me dead in the eye. It was about six feet tall, and had Ty's eyes.
I ran.
Yes bolted, what else was I supposed to do?
I could see the house and I ran in. I wiped my tears and went into Ty's room. I grabbed my backpack and ran down the stairs.
"Whoa, Arrabella what's wrong?" Carter asked.
"Nothing, please drive me home," I begged.
"I don't know Aria," he sighed.
"PLEASE," I pleaded.
"Carter, get out," Ty stated while walking into the living room. Carter gave me a glance and then exited.
"Aria you told me to show you," he replied.
"You were lying to me this entire time," I shouted.
"No I wasn't," he groaned.
"Yes you were Ty. I told you everything and you kept this from me. You know what I don't even want to be your stupid mate," I shouted.
I watched relief, sadness, to anger flash over his face.
"Don't say that," he stated.
"Go find someone else to lie to," I replied.
"I'm not lying to you nor have I, I knew you would freak out," he stated.
I watched as he came closer, I took a step back. I regretted it when sadness filled his eyes.
"I don't want to be near you right now," I whispered.
He nodded.
I went back upstairs but I didn't go to Ty's room I went into the room where Ty and I play video games. I don't want to play; I just want to lay in one of the bean bag chairs.
I plopped down on the black one and shut my eyes. Ty is a wolf, a freaking animal. That means Carter is one too, and everyone in this house! I've been living in a house full of them.

Though I feel safe here, I feel safe and unsafe at the same time.
I really like Ty but he has anger problems, and I know he would never hurt me, but he has the power too; physically or mentally.
"Aria?" a voice asked.
I opened my eyes to find Carter standing in the doorway.
"Hey," I replied.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"You're a wolf?" I clarified.
"Yes," he chuckled.
"Is that why you let Ty boss you around?" I asked.
He laughed and then sat down across from me.
"He is the alpha," he replied.
I nodded.
"You know we've all been wolves the entire time. You shouldn't be scared or worried you are safe here," he added.
"I know," I sighed.
"So why are you still scared?" he asked.
"If Ty is a wolf then he's really strong, and I knew he was strong before, but he gets really angry sometimes," I whispered.
I gasped.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
I held up my finger to tell him one minute.
I tried to get my breathing under control. Talking about this made me remember how strong my dad is; how weak I am.
I tried to steady my breathing.
"Aria," he stated.
Ty came busting threw the doors.
"SHERRY," he yelled.
He came over and sat near me.
Not by me just near. Sherry came in with the mask. I pushed her away and Ty came over and held my arms behind my back.
She put the mask on me and I started drifting away.
I woke up in Ty's room. I looked over and saw him sitting on the bed, but away from me.
"Why did you do that?" I asked.
"You couldn't breathe," he stated.
"I could have controlled it," I added.
"Arrabella your face was turning blue," he groaned.
"Tyson I'm not a child you can't make that decision for me," I ordered.
"Aria you couldn't breathe, I can't see you like that and not do anything," he sighed.
I rolled my eyes. Really Ty great plan, he's making me weak! Now I'm pretty much trapped in his room with him because I can't walk.
"I don't want to be in here," I stated.
"Where do you want to be?" he asked.
"I don't care, just not here," I replied.
He got off the bed and then eagerly reached for me.
"No," I stated while pushing his hands away.
"Ar you can't walk," he reminded.
Dammit, I don't want to feel the sparks between us.
"Fine," I muttered while reaching my arms towards him. He smirked and then picked me up and carried me too the room across the hall.
It had purple walls and a queen sized bed.
He set me down on the bed.
"I'll be right back," he replied.
I nodded and then I leaned back against the pillows and shut my eyes.
"Here," I heard Ty say.
He had a bowl of soup in his hands.
"Can you put it on the night stand I'm not that hungry," I replied.
"You haven't eaten in a while," he worriedly added while setting the bowl on the nightstand.
"I'll eat it later I promise," I sighed.
He nodded.
"I'll be across the hall if you need me, yell," he replied.
"Okay, thanks Tyson," I answered.
"Yeah," he added while walking out of the room.
I know he is upset but I think we both need some time away from the each other.
I want to be with Ty. I know that. Ty may only want to be with me because his wolf tells him to? I mean how crazy does that sound? If Ty wasn't a wolf he would probably be with Claire. He would have ignored me like the others.
Maybe it is fate.
I mean I miss him and he is right across the hall. UGH when did things get so complicated?
