I gleefully walked into the building. "Hey, everyone," I greeted my co-workers, giving them a huge smile.
"What's up with you?" Dante asked, giving me a confused look.
"Oh, nothing." I kept grinning. Just that Mr. Havens is jealous of Dave and I.
"Well, give these papers to Harper." He gave me a lot of papers, which were slightly heavy.
"Okay." I walked over to Harper, and gave the papers to her.
"Thank you so much!" Harper exclaimed, grinning. "How are you today?" She said in a fast tone.
"Um, what?" I asked, slightly wincing. Every time I was around her, I just didn't have a clue what she said half of the time. Does anyone else have this problem?
"I asked how you are today." She kept grinning.
I finally got what she said. "Oh! I'm doing very well actually, how are you?"
"Great." She looked around. "Well, I better get back to work. See you around!" She waved and walked away.
I walked back to my desk, and sat down. I was doing my work when Mr. Havens came out of his office, walking over to me. "Anastasia," he said to me, having his usual stern facial expression.
"Oh hey, Mr. Havens," I greeted him, smiling.
"I would like you to come to my office." I nodded, following him to his office.
"What is it...sir?" I asked, sitting on a chair.
"I want to talk about you and Dave." He said, sitting at his desk.
"Oh, really?" I tried to hide my grin. He's totally jealous.
"Yes. Are you two dating, by any chance?"
"Um...well...you see..." I didn't know what else to say. I wanted him to be jealous, but at the same time I didn't want to lie to my boss. "Not really."

"Good."
"Good?" I couldn't help but blurt out.
"Yes, because I would be concerned about you two dating since he's a CEO of a different company. I frown upon my workers getting involved with other workers in different corporations."
My face fell. "Oh." He wasn't jealous after all.
"Well, that's all I wanted to know. Sorry for interrupting your work, you may now go back to your desk."
"It's no problem." I walked out of the office, and sat back down at my desk. I couldn't help but feel disappointed.
"What's up with you?" Dante asked, looking confused.
"What do you mean?" I said.
"You were all happy and cheerful earlier, and now you seem down." He glanced at Mr. Havens door. "Did boss man yell at you again?"
I quickly shook my head. "No, not at all."
"Then what happened?"
I hesitated telling him about my plan to make Mr. Havens jealous with Dave. He would probably think it was a stupid idea. "Oh...you know...just tired, that's all."
He gave me a look that made him seemed like he was unconvinced, but he didn't press any further.
We went back to work, and a few hours later, it was lunchtime. As I was heading out, Sanjay asked, "Where are you going for lunch?"
"I'm actually eating lunch at Chelsea's house," I replied. It was true, she texted me a little while ago, asking if I wanted to eat lunch at her place.
"Oh okay." He started walking away.
"Wait, Sanjay." He turned back around. "If you want, you can eat lunch with us."
"Oh it's okay, really." He smiled.
"You sure?"
"Yes." He continued to walk.
I remembered how Chelsea was flirting with him at my party. That was probably why he didn't want to be around her. I laughed to myself as I recalled the memory.

A few minutes later, I arrived at Chelsea's place. "Hey, BFF." She said, grinning and giving me a hug. She gave me and herself a sandwich. "So how is the making Mr. Havens jealous thing?" She asked with her mouth full.
"I'm not sure to be honest," I replied with a slight frown on my face.
"How are you not sure?" She gave me a confused look.
"Because this morning Mr. Havens told me to go in his office, and he asked me if me and Dave were dating."
"That's a good sign! He's totally jealous!" She grinned.
"I thought that too until he said that he frowns upon his workers dating other workers at a different corporation."
Chelsea's face also fell into a slight frown. "Well, what did you say when he asked you if you and Dave were dating?"
"I told him not really."
She blinked a few times. "What? Why? You should have said yes."
"Because I didn't want to lie. I already did lied to Dave before about me being a boss, and he told Mr. Havens about it. I don't want him to think that I'm a liar."
She sighed. "Stacey, Stacey, Stacey." She took a bite of corn chips. "Well, there's got to be another way to get him to like you."
"Like what?"
She shrugged. "I don't know yet, but we'll figure out something."
"I hope so." I smiled.
"I mean, he is a total hottie but he seems so scary."
"He's scary when you piss him off, but other than that he's okay." I laughed.
"Maybe scary isn't the right term. What about intimidating?"
"Yeah, that one!" We giggled, high fiving each other.
"I wish I would have applied to work where you are instead of the Louis Vuitton store." She groaned.
"Why? I thought you love that place." I gave her a confused look.
"I do but there aren't any cute guys that work there." She frowned.
I laughed. "Chelsea, the point of working isn't because of the guys. It's for the money."
"Easy for you to say. You have a hot boss. I always wanted to date one of those."
"Good luck searching for one."
"Thanks, because I'm going to find one." She grinned.
Before we knew it, we've already been eating and talking for a little over a half an hour. "Oh my gosh, I've got to get back to work! My break was already over almost ten minutes ago." I quickly got up.
"Okay, Stace. See you later!" She grinned and waved at me as I was walking out the door.
I went back to the building, and went to my desk to continue working.
