Noor's POV

Everything is going perfect. My birthday is coming in 4 days and I am so excited. That night when Adi said that I am his precious gift, I actually felt like one. It feels so surreal that I finally have his heart with me, something which seemed like a distant dream when I met him for the first time.

It feels to be such a long time back, when I was sitting in my room anxiously, trying to find peace with the nightsky, a day before my wedding. Who would have thought I would actually succeed. Thank you so much God for bringing Adi in my life. I promise to never let anything come in between our beautiful relationship.

The ringing of my phone interrupts my thinking and the name on the screen makes me smile.

'Hello my darling. Where are you?'.

'Noor I need your help'.

'What no I love you. This is not the way you should greet me honey'. 'Noor stop it. This is serious. I really need your help'.

'Okay fine. I will come over to your place and then we can talk. Bye'.

I hurriedly picked up my car keys and leave for his house. He seemed really distressed. I hope everything's fine. I cannot see him in distress.

Aditya's POV

I have been thinking hard for a few days and I realised that it will be best if I confess it to her in our bedroom. Everytime I think of our bed, my mind starts showing me pictures from that night. Noor was so hot and seductive that night. I never thought she had this amazing side to her. I groan mentally thinking about it.

Soon my phone rings and the name on the screen brings a smile to face. 'Hello Jai. How are you? Dude how dare you forget about me after going to U.S.'. 'Shut up Adi. You bloody got married and didn't even inform me. You bastard '. 'Dude I left an invite in your office because you weren't picking up your phone. Where the hell were you?', I ask. 'I was in Africa doing a project. There was a lot of network problem coz I was working in a remote area. I never thought that you will chose those exact months to get married you asshole'. 'You need to work on your filthy mouth'. 'I don't care. Anyways how are you. I was so worried about you. Who have you married. Please don't tell me someone like Riya'.

Hearing her name makes me flinch for a second. I forgot about her in the time I have been with Noor. 'Noor is nothing like her. I love her and she loves me'.

'Whoa dude, I never imagined that I will hear these words from your mouth. I want to meet her. I am in India as of now and I will reach your place in 30 minutes'. 'OK I will be waiting'.

Riya. That name alone brings along so many insecurities with it. I need to see Noor. She makes me forget everything.

I enter my room to see Noor standing in the balcony when suddenly her phone rang. She picks up her phone and calls the other person darling. WHAT! Who is she talking to. She asks the other person why he didn't say I love you and she is saying that so smugly, just the way I found Riya saying it to her lover. Noor agrees to meet him at his place and turns to leave. I run to hide in the dressing room. She leaves in a hurry and doesn't notice me.

Is she cheating on me? No she can't. She loves me. But I can already feel the dread in my heart. I love her. I cannot be without her.

I decide to follow her to confirm my suspicions. I soon catch up to her car and follow her. In a few minutes she reaches a huge house and drives inside the gates. The guards seemed to be familiar to her. No no no no. My heart is literally beating out of my chest. This can't be happening. Not again. No.

My phone rings and I pick up without seeing the caller's name. 'Dude I'm at your place. Where are you?', asks Jai. 'I will be there in 15 min', I reply. I drive back in a hurry and soon reach my home. I go to my room and Jai follows me.

'No no no. Noor is not cheating on me', I keep on muttering slowly. 'Adi are you ok. Tell me what happened', asks Jai in an assuring voice. I tell him what I heard. 'Adi maybe she was talking to a friend. Don't assume things. You should talk to her when she comes back. I am sure this is just a misunderstanding'.

Yes. It could be a misunderstanding. But I can't help but be suspicious. All my fears have come crashing down on me, facing me in the eye, taunting me all over again.
