I felt the sun's rays hit me in the face. I rub my face and look to see the girls still sleeping.

Y/n: "*sighs* I think I should head back.. I'm going to need to refill my ammo at Muramasa's... Who knows, might see Naofumi there"

I get up and stretch a little as I put my weapons back into my holsters. A couple of minutes later, Schwi woke up and poked Red in the cheek to wake her up as well.

Red: "A few more minutes"

Schwi: "Master said he'll leave you if you-"

Red: "Don't leave me!!"

She jumped out from the bed and looked around for me.

Y/n: "I didn't say anything"

I say while bopping Schwi in the head.

Y/n: "But if you don't hurry up and get dressed, I will leave you"

For whatever reason, Red refused to go to sleep if she wasn't naked. Main reason why I slept somewhere other than the bed even though she insists that I sleep with her.

Y/n: "We need to go to Muramasa's for some more ammo. We also need to make sure he sharpens the throwing knives you have along with sharpening that sword of yours, maybe get Schwi a sword too. So hurry up"

Red: "Yes sir!!"

She jumps down and throws herself onto me.

Y/n: "Put some damn clothes on already!!"

Once she put her clothes on, we finally left and headed for Melromarc. I dreaded this event from coming but luckily for us, we were very high leveled.

Y/n: "Level 25. We should be fine now"

Red: "Master?"

Y/n: "What is it?"

Red: "Can I ask Mr. Muramasa to make me some soup again?"

Y/n: "Don't bother him with that. He's going to be busy helping us restock to be able to do that"

Red: "Aww.. I wanted his cooking"

Y/n: "You can ask him later"

Red: "Yay!!"

Schwi: "What weapon do you think will suit me best master?"

Y/n: "Like I said before, your role is mainly my scouting. I'd prefer you have something like.. a sniper would be nice"

Schwi: "Sniper?"

Y/n: "I do need someone to get me coverage from long distance. You are a smart girl and with those eyes, I'm sure you could calculate the best outcome to avoid hitting me or Red when in the battlefield. I'm sure a sniper would be good for you"

Schwi: "Then I'll do my best with this "sniper" that you speak off"

Y/n: "I want you to carry a knife with you incase the enemy is too close for such a long range weapon"

Schwi: "I do have super strength as well"

Y/n: "I want your attacks to be lethal"

Schwi: "I'll take the knife as well then"

We got to the gates of Melromarc and immediately get the feeling of leaving.

Y/n: "I hate this fucking place"

I say with a snarl.

Red: "Master?"

Y/n: "Let's just go do what we need to do"

Schwi & Red: "Yes master"

We walk in and I put my hoodie on.

Y/n: "The best I can do to avoid attention, the better"

Schwi and Red imitate me as they follow behind me. I could see the people looking at some horsemen knights going out.

Y/n: "Could the waves be starting soon? We need to get there so we could get this done fast"

We dash over to Muramasa's and see him working on somethings.

Muramasa: "Don't worry kid, I already got your stuff done"

He says without even looking at me.

Y/n: "You worked on my ammo?"

Muramasa: "I knew you'd need it as soon as you come back. I made the usual 8 magazines for that Calico of yours. 20 more for the Thompson and a couple more sharpened throwing knives for Red. I also made this little sword for the little one"

Y/n: "Thanks.. I want to ask you for another project if it's possible to be made"

Muramasa: "Another weapon for you?"

Y/n: "It's for Schwi actually"

Muramasa: "What do you have in mind?"

I put a blueprint that I had ready for myself but ultimately, deemed it as too much for me to carry.

Muramasa: "Interesting, is this one of those "gun" things that you showed me last time? Looks like it'll be a lot bigger than the other ones. You sure she can carry it?"

Y/n: "She can. I trust her"

Schwi was swinging her little sword as Red offered to practice with her.

Muramasa: "Hey!! Use the wooden swords if yer going to swing swords. Also, do it outside so ye don't break nothing!!"

Both: "Yes!!"

The do as they are told as Muramasa and I look at the blueprint while thinking of ways to make it compact and easier to carry for Schwi. Once we get the design done. Muramasa got started on making the gun itself while I worked on the scope. I added some of my Weaponscraft commands to allow Schwi the ability to zoom in and out with her thoughts. I also got to make a couple of bullets while I was at it. It took us a couple of hours but once it was done, we both went to go eat something.

Muramasa: "That was exhausting. But I will say, it's pretty fun working on these little projects of yours. If it wasn't for my blacksmith skills, who knows how long it would of taken"

Y/n: "Skills? Like mine?"

Muramasa: "Something like that. Look who's back?"

Red: "Mr. Muramasa, are you making food?!"

Muramasa: "Yea, sit down"

They obediently do as he says as I look at a Origin Bullet in my hand.

Red: "Is something wrong master?"

Y/n: "Just wondering something.. Do you think if I shot one of these from a distance at one of those heroes, would they be as miserable as I am? Not a kill shot but in a place that would cripple them"

Red: "Please don't talk like that master?!"

Y/n: "You haven't met them. You know what they did to Naofumi and I right?"

Red sat back down.

Y/n: "We were framed for a crime we never committed. The other idiots believed it and here we are, hated by the Melromarc"

Red: "I.."

Schwi: "I will follow masters command. If he ordered me to take down that man who did that, I'll do it"

Y/n: "I'd love to but you'd become a wanted person. That's just more stress on me so I guess we'll just leave it for now"

Muramasa: "I've come with food. Eat up"

He places the plates in front of me and we begin to eat up. While eating, I check up on my stats and skills. There was a skill that kept bugging me. It was strange because it was separated from the rest of the skills I have.

Y/n: ".. What an interesting skill"

I whisper to myself. The name of sed skill was called Time Accel. I don't remember ever unlocking it. It was almost as it was auto unlocked when I was nearly hit by that archer's arrow.

Muramasa: "Everything okay kid?"

Y/n: "Yea, just- Huh?!"

Red, Schwi and I began to glow.

Red: "Master?!"

Muramasa: "Kid!!"

Muramasa immediately grabbed the sniper and threw it at me before we disappeared.

Y/n: "Where the hell are we?!"

Schwi: "Master, the sky!!"

I look up to see the sky blood red and some strange looking clouds.

Y/n: "Did.. the waves start already?!"

Monsters began to fall from the sky as a nearby town looked like it was going to get hit.

Y/n: "Alright!! This what we trained for. Schwi, I know we didn't get to practice but it's simple. You look through this scope and shoot the enemies"

Schwi: "Like with master's other weapon?"

Y/n: "Yes. The exception is that this weapon is for distance and is meant to be fired once before having to pull on this to eject the previous shot"

I pull the extended magazine Muramasa made for her.

Y/n: "You got 16 shots. Make it count"

Schwi: "Yes master"

She had her little sword at her waist as I look at Red.

Y/n: "Schwi will be in the trees and away from the combat. Red, I'm counting on you to be my sword when we are out there"

Red: "Yes master!!"

Y/n: "Good, let's go then"

We take off as Schwi goes there at a much faster pace to scan the area for us. Red and I took on any monsters we see while on our way to the village.

Red: "Master!!"

Y/n: "I got it"

I pull out Calico and spray the 5 monsters ahead of me. Red would then charge in and slash at their heads while I carefully shot any that would try to attack her. I could hear the bell toll ahead.

Y/n: "We need to hurry up"

Red: "Right behind you master"

By the time we arrived, most of the citizens had looked like they evacuated. I look everywhere to see a tower collapse as someone jumped down.

Y/n: "Let's go help out a little"

I see the group surrounded as I spray Calico.

Y/n: "Looks like you need some help?"

??: "Y/n?!"

I saw Naofumi in some rubble. I go over to him and help him out. I pull off my bandages and hood so he can see me.

Naofumi: "You got a change in hair color?"

Y/n: "I blame it on stress. Good to see you're in good health friend"

Naofumi: "Likewise. Look out-"

Before the monster could attack me, a long ranged attack came and took its head off.

Naofumi: "Was that?!-"

Y/n: "A sniper's shot"

I look out as in the distance, Schwi released her breath.

Schwi: "Taking a deep breath helps focus my attack better. I'm here for you master"

I put a thumb out to signal her she did a good job.

Red: "Master!!"

Naofumi: "Master?"

Y/n: "I picked out a slave. Guessing you met him as well since he told me you bought one as well?"

Naofumi: "Yes. Rapthalia"

A raccoon demihuman arrived at his command.

Raphtalia: "Naofumi-sama, who's this?"

Naofumi: "A friend, Y/n. He too is a hero"

Y/n: "Nice to meet you. Let's continue our introductions later. These damn beasts can't seem to understand to give us a damn minute"

I pull out my knife and head over to the battlefield where Red was handling the monsters. I run alongside Naofumi and Raphtalia to her position.

Red: "Master, is he the shield hero?"

Naofumi: "That's me. I'm Naofumi and this is Raphtalia"

I shoot the enemy as I hear some chanting. Soon after, a hellstorm of fire balls came flying towards us.

Y/n: "Red!!"

I rush over to her and shield her.

Naofumi: "Prison shield!!"

Naofumi had covered himself and Raphtalia. Before I knew it, some strange ball surrounded Red and I.

Y/n: "What the hell?"

I analyze it as some sort of shield of Naofumis.

Y/n: "So you have gotten better huh?"

I say with a little chuckle.

Red: "Thanks for protecting me master"

I look down to see Red blushing a little.

Y/n: "Naofumi protected us"

The shield falls once the fire stopped.

Raphtalia charged at the enemy as she defends us regarding that unnecessary hell fire. Red would of charged at her as well but I was holding onto her hood. I had my hand up to signal Schwi to stand down as well as I knew she would try to kill him too.

Naofumi: "Seeing you die? Might as well see to it then?!"

I noticed a giant behind them with some small fries beside it. Naofumi protected the main guy in charge as I did nothing.

Red: "What do we do master?"

Y/n: "We protect Naofumi and Raphtalia. I don't care what happens to the rest"

I charge in as I close in on the giant.

Irisviel: "Time Accel"

It happened again. Everything was going slow again. I sprinted all the way to the beast and slashed at its friends and turn towards the behemoth. I jump over to its head and reach for my main gun. I put a special bullet in Thompson's Contender before aiming it at its head. Time returned to normal as I glare at it.

Y/n: "Origin Bullet"

I fire it as it kills it in an instant. The rest collapse as I fall to the ground.

Naofumi: "What was that?!"

Y/n: "A skill I have. To be honest with you, I'm not too sure how to use it since I'm not the one even activating it"

Naofumi: "What?"

Y/n: "It just.. activates itself"

Schwi who was looking from a distance through her scope had seen everything though.

Schwi: "That goddess. She's helping him. She's been following us since I meet him"

Back at the battlefield, we had finished up taking on the rest of the enemies. Naofumi explained to me about the dragon hourglass or whatever it was called. He informed me that we would be transported to the location of the waves everytime they occur.

Y/n: "I guess that explains why we were brought here despite being at old man Muramasa's"

Naofumi: "Who?"

Y/n: "A friend. He helped me create my weapons along with the ones for my girls"

Naofumi: "Is she not the only one you own?"

Just as he said that, Schwi arrived at my side.

Schwi: "Master, I've used up about 10 of the shots you told me about"

Y/n: "We'll have some ready for you when we get back to the shop. Naofumi, this is Schwi. She's my Ex Machina"

Naofumi: "An Ex Machina?! Those exist here?"

Y/n: "I guess so. This is Red-"

Red: "Master's first slave!!"

She said very proudly.

Y/n: "Yea"

I look over to see Schwi looking just over my head.

Y/n: "Something the matter?"

Schwi: "N-No"

He smiles without noticing what's directly infront of him.

Irisviel: "You did an incredible job!! Well done Y/n!!"

She looked over to Schwi and put a finger over her lips.

Irisviel: "You are an Ex Machina right? You follow the rules of the gods. This is a command from a goddess. This is to be our little secret until he can see me okay. Nod if you understand"

Schwi nods as Irisviel smiles at her and pats her head.

Irisviel: "Good girl"

She whispered low enough to not be heard by the rest.

Schwi: "Why is a goddess following us?"

Irisviel: "I... I have a strange.. attraction to him, your master. I brought him to this world by accident and was meaning to only watch over him but like I said.. I have an attachment to him now. I wish he could hear me"

Schwi: "I won't say anything then"

Irisviel: "Thank you"

Y/n: "I see you are acting pretty tsundere"

Naofumi: "What?!"

Y/n: "Acting like hearing them thank you didn't make you feel happy inside"

Naofumi: "S-Shut up!! I know it's the same with you"

Y/n: "Eh. What now?"

Naofumi: "I guess we head back to the capital and report what we did"

We arrive and are celebrated for our "bravery" in defending the kingdom from the waves. Naofumi and I were in our corner while Raphtalia, Schwi, and Red were busy getting there face stuffed in food.

Naofumi: "Pretty interesting skills you got"

Y/n: "Same to you. Being able to use any material and turn it into a shield, pretty over powered if you ask me"

Naofumi: "That Origin Bullet you used earlier?"

Y/n: "I'm regretting using it. I feel like one of the regular bullets would of worked"

Naofumi: "What does it do?"

Y/n: "Oh, it can-"

Raphtalia: "Naofumi-sama!! Here, have some cake"

Naofumi: "No thanks"

I look to see only Schwi was with her.

Y/n: "Where's Red?"

Raphtalia: "The sword hero borrowed her-"

Y/n: "What?!"

Naofumi: "Y/n?"

Before I could react, a glove was sent our way.

Spear: "Y/n, Naofumi. I challenge you both to a duel"

We both look at him as he looked serious.

Y/n: "I don't have time for this-"

He points his spear at my neck as I wip out Thomson's Contender and aim it at his head.

Y/n: "Out of my way"

Spear: "You're not going anywhere until I free that innocent little girl and Raphtalia from you two's graps"

I began to get really irritated at this idiot's stupidity.

Spear: "I heard the two of them are slaves along with the beautiful white haired girl who I'll also be freeing"

Naofumi: "They are"

Y/n: "What of it?"

The spear hero continued to spout his chivalrous cliche nonsense as Naofumi countered it with facts.

Y/n: "I don't have time to deal with you"

Naofumi: "Neither do I"

Naofumi left as I went to go look for Red.

King: "I've heard enough"

I heard his voice and immediately tensed up. I wanted to put a bullet through his head just hearing that stupid voice.

Irisviel: "Please calm down"

I calmed down as my main goal was to look for Red. I found her looking annoyed.

Sword: "If you feel-"

Y/n: "Back the hell off!!"

I grab him by the shoulder and shove him away. I grab Red by the hand and take off.

King: "I'll have the heroes do battle. The dud and the shield versus Motoyasu and Ren"

Y/n: "This is bullshit!! I refuse to follow your orders!!"

I had guards surrounding me as I erupted. Naofumi was also caught in by the stairs. I look back and see Schwi missing.

Y/n: "Schwi!!"

She had been separated from me by Motoyasu as I glared at him.

Y/n: "GIVE HER BACK!!!"

Ren takes Red with him as the guards draw their swords.

Y/n: "STOP MESSING WITH ME!!"
