Could it have been too late to save them
"Help me!" Renjun cried out, picking up his sisters head and layed it on his lap. He stroked her hair, urging her to wake up. Sicheng had accompanied him, gasping at the sight.
"She's still breathing, hurry we need to take her to him." He ordered, gently helping Renjun pick Yuji up.
Renjun's thoughts travelled back to the words from the nurse.
"Once they meet, they must keep physical contact, or be in the same area as each other to heal their wounds. It is obligatory for them to heal or the worst can happen."
As fast as they could, Renjun placed Yuji in the backseat, laying her head in his lap as Sicheng started the car and took off into the direction of the dorm.
They both were running out of time.
Donghyuck was coughing up blood, his eyes were unable to open and the slightest of movement sent him in agony. The rest were waiting anxiously, not fully understanding the reason of Renjun's sudden exit out of the dorm.
Yuji could feel it, she could feel Donghyuck's pain, unconscious or not. Their souls were intertwined, fated to be together. But they were too late.
Or were they?
"Fuck, we're in traffic." Renjun cursed, feeling the metaphorical timer looming over Yuji's head, ticking away. She was still unconscious, her form looked weak, she looked on the brink of death, her fingertips ice cold.
By the time they parked into the car park, Renjun was sobbing. His heart shattered at the feeling of his sister leaving him- it couldn't happen. He wouldn't allow it. The journey to the dorm felt like forever, the girl in his arms as cold as ice, dead to the world.
"Wake up Princess, he's here, I found him." Renjun begged, following Sicheng into the door where he was bombarded with many faces and confused expressions.

Sicheng took the time to explain whilst Renjun's sight blurred, he layed her on the couch and took off the blanket from around her.
Everyone was gulping down their anxiety and fear, the possibility that it was too late still loomed.
"Let me." Jaemin offered, picking Yuji up and walking over to Donghyuck's room, Renjun and a few others following suit. Renjun scanned the room, several bloodied tissues layed around and Donghyuck himself was unconscious.
They both were.
"It has to work right?" Chenle voiced, eyes frowning in sadness. Jisung clung onto his arm, scared by the situation. Kun came up from behind them and ruffled both their hairs.
"They'll be fine, don't worry." Kun guided them towards the kitchen and made sure they were less shaken up.
"I can't believe it's her, who would have known." Doyoung questioned, gripping tight of his own soulmate, not able to imagine his life without her- it would be hell and torture.
Meanwhile, Jaemin settled Yuji on the empty space of the bed, right side of Donghyuck, Yuji's arm fell over her soulmate and the tattoos on both of them shone with gold accents, making the boys squint.
"It is the soulmate bond?" Mark asked in awe, watching how the tattoo came to life.
"Yes, they are starting to heal."
Everyone had left the room, leaving them alone to progress. The first to wake up was Donghyuck, the weight over his abdomen was enough to wake him up after his brain had involuntarily shut down to sleep. Yet he was still tired, more better than before though. His eyes fluttered open slightly but closed straight away, flinching at the light.
Donghyuck felt his hand resting on something soft and warm, the heat felt very calming and serene.
But his brain tried to piece his senses together, wondering what it was.
The feeling of hair tickled at his neck and chin and he slowly looked down.
A feminine arm was resting over his stomach and a head was placed in between his neck and shoulder.
The tingling sensation danced over his skin and the tattoo was nothing like before, it wasn't uncomfortable, yet it was completely the opposite. The comfort of the Golden streaks that moved throughout it made him feel warm inside.
It made him feel alive.
Without even looking, he knew who it was.
It was his soulmate.

Paladin
When the first derelict alien spacecraft fell to Earth, humanity took what was found in it and propelled themselves to new heights. In their new Golden Age, humanity developed technology that they had only dreamed about. The following years saw hundreds more ships crash into the planet, spurring even greater technological leaps. An unassuming spacecraft, one of the dozens that fell yearly, descended on Siberia in 2021. The world took no particular notice of it. However, this one contained something beyond the miraculous technology that had made humans so prosperous. Three years later, in a top-secret underground facility in eastern Colorado, the automated construction of an army of Paladin Mobile Infantry Suits was underway. With this new, state-of-the-art weaponry, the military would turn the tide against the alien incursion that was consuming the planet. Humanity fell before that could happen. Sam was an engineer responsible for overseeing the facility. Now alone, he lives in utter boredom and near insanity, his only company the base’s pseudo AI and an army of empty Paladins. With the world gone to hell around him, and the things that caused it still living above, he decides that he is much better off staying exactly where he is. Unfortunately for him, that is no longer an option. This is the first novel I've written. The first fifteen or so chapters are going to be a little slower. I want there to be time to get to know the characters before they start blowing stuff up. Also, though the MC will be strong relative to the world, he won't be OP, and won't win every fight. Not every fight will be physical either. Currently, I'm aiming for something like 5 fairly short chapters a week, after the introduction part is done, but we'll see how that goes. Thanks for reading, and please let me know if I've made mistakes!

Broken Kaleidoscopes
What if someone told you that there were dimensions alongside ours? Innumerable and impossible to even fathom. That no normal man could ever hope to understand, or even find a way to peer across the everdistant parallels that pervade the multiverse? Now, what if that same person told you that there existed a race that lived outside all dimensions? A race so powerful that, instead of being forced to play along with the rules of your own dimension, they could rewrite all aspects of reality with only a thought. Of course, you would laugh at them. I did too. Then I broke reality the next day. Pictures are not mine. Hedonia the Arcane Utopia (LitRPG)
LitRPG Progression Fantasy (action-packed with some slice of life). This world isn't heaven, James wasn't good enough for heaven. This was as close as he could get - a world infested by the Darkness. Which might not be as impossible a goal as it seems, now that James is here. Or will the Darkness destroy the world before that happens? Things aren't as black and white as they seem though. The Darkness is dangerous, but using it is also an essential part of building a utopia. Out of the countless worlds James could've reincarnated in, he chose to come here though. His goals perfectly align with Hedonia's. He'll gain power at any cost in order to ensure that the Darkness won't destroy his new, cozy home. -- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

A Requiem For The End
Yuga wakes up on a cold, frigid land entirely covered in snow. Where was he? Who was he? Neither of these could he remember but he didn't have time to think of it, he could tell danger wasn't far. A quick death if he failed to avoid it. It was fast approaching and much as he tried to escape, it quickly caught up with him. Luckily he had survived, but was he just lucky or was there something more to him.....? A Requiem For The End is a fantasy story set in a world.......well, quite different from most stories you might have seen (I honestly don't know how to better describe it). Early into the story (prologue) the world feels elusive because you slowly learn about it through the eyes of Yuga. As you read on questions may arise in your mind and mysteries will present themselves. The answers to them will come the further you read. I'd like to think the plot is a bit larger than the average and same goes for the world building. If you find this story intriguing then all I can say is - There's a lot for me to tell, hop on?
